Samuel woke up the next morning to find the bed was empty; he looked around and saw it must have been so ti since they left.
" It's only nine. They stayed up late, so it's strange that no one is here." He thought and went to freshen up.
After a light shower, he went downstairs to find Grandma and Kayla talking in the living room. There were empty plates on the table; they seed to have already had breakfast.
" Where is everyone?" He asked.
" They followed Mayra to her work; they were very eager to spend ti with children," Kayla replied. Her condition seed to be fine with how much she drank last night.
But it was surprising that everyone followed Mayra without even informing him; her work usually revolved around running the non-profit, but that didn't an she personally dealt with every child they rescued.
Elise was a special case that caught her eye, but she normally worked in the main office. She did talk a lot about her work when they spent ti together. She was the Program Director for the organization and held one of the seats on the Board of directors.
The non-profit organization structure was fairly similar to other corporation; first was the Board, then the executive director, and then under them was four different personnel responsible for developnt, finance, volunteer, and lastly, program. Her standing was not low, but it worried him a little since the girl group was with her.
" That's unfortunate; I considered giving them a special city tour. Oh well, I might do that so other day." He sighed.
" Are you sure about that? With how much they were afraid of you, I doubt they will ever set foot here." Grandma snorted. It looked like she t them in the morning; what nonsense did they say to her about him?
" I don't care. As long Grandma is by my side, I don't care about anything else." He said with puppy eyes.
" Brat! Don't think your trick would work on again! Isn't it enough that I am letting you stay here?" Unfortunately, he had already used his tactics on her too many tis; it was a miracle that she was in the sa room as him, knowing what the three of them were up to. She was also an accomplice in keeping it a secret from Kayla's family.
" Hehehe, Grandma is the best!"
" Humph." She said nothing, but her mouth rose ever so slightly hearing his flattery. Samuel knew she liked attention, so he was used to her cold temperant. She left after serving him the plate; despite her harsh tone, she took care of their als earnestly.
" What about you? Aren't you going to work, too?" He asked Kayla.
" Hehehe, I am fortunate. Last night, Chief suddenly asked to protect you. I don't know why, but it seed like they know about your little stunt at the Le Zenith last night." She seed happy to skip work.
" It's not a secret; besides, dozens of guards aren't protecting . He must have heard about it from them. But is it really necessary?"
" Of course, you gave him the shock of a lifeti. But, fortunately, I get to take so ti off because of you! Hahaha"
" Good for you, but I don't want to laze around like you."
" That's perfect; I felt my body was getting stiff. Why don't I take you to my secret place." She said with a mischievous smile.
" What place?"
" My secret training ground. Let see your skill that you are so proud of."
" Oh, I am ready, but should we wager sothing?"
" You are right. But decide that after you have beaten !" She was all fired up. She was confident that she would have the upper hand, considering she had trained since she was a little girl, and even if Samuel was a genius like everyone said he was, it would be hard to beat her one-on-one.

They moved to the elevator and exited after going up a few floors. The layout was completely different; it seed it was altered after the building's completion. It was similar to Samuel's property in LA that he had recently bought; the whole floor only had one door, but there was no fancy decoration; it was a simple setting.
After Kayla used a key to open the gate, they moved inside; what imdiately caught Samuel's eye was the whole floor had only one big hall. Unlike their usual flat, which had two floors connected by a large stair, this room had nothing, so the ceiling felt much higher.
There were a few other sections, but they were small; judging by the layout, they must be a simple bedroom, and another was a large shower. The floor was inlaid with beautiful wood, and in the middle was a large square area a little higher up from the ground.
" Wow, this is excellent. It looks like a boxing gym; how co you never shown this to before?" Samuel asked, inspecting the arena. It was padded but not so much as one's feet would sink in; it was made to lessen so impact.
" We were running around for the past few days; I didn't even co here, so how can I ntion it to you?" She shrugged.
" Everything looks new; you don't use it much either way."
" Well, soone cos to clean up the place every few days. I ordered to build it when we first moved into the building, so it can't be considered new."
" Enough talk, let's talk with our fists!" Samuel was itching to fight. It had been so ti since he trained in earnest, and now that Kayla presented him with such an excellent situation, he couldn't let go of such an opportunity!
" Wait! Let get ready; there are so things in that corner you can borrow it." She didn't say anything and went inside to change. Samuel also looked at the things in the corner; it appeared to be a few worn-out boxing gloves and a few pairs of clothes.
He had heard her talk about her martial art, the Savate, a French martial art derivative of boxing but with a heavy emphasis on footwork. He had never faced soone who used it before, but it was a fierce art if one comprehended it earnestly.
Kayla was a white glove, which was only one step away from the grandmaster, so she was definitely a tough opponent; coupled with her real-life experience, her mastery was higher than those who only learned it as a hobby.
Samuel decided to face her seriously; he picked up a pair of shorts, she would not mind.
She ca out after a couple of minutes and was surprised to see but none of the shirts fit him, so he decided to go shirtless for their spar. It was not like she had never seen him naked, so he was sure she would not mind.
She ca out after a couple of minutes and was surprised to see him half naked for a second, but it imdiately went away as she stared at him seriously. It was not the ti to be distracted; she always wanted to find her limit, and looking at Samuel, she knew he was soone stronger than her, which was why she wanted to face him since she first laid eyes on him.
" You look good; it looks like you want to go all out today," Samuel comnted. She wore a sports bra that firmly held her chest in place and loose shorts to give her a full range of leg movents.
What's dangerous is her shoes; in Savate, one wears a special shoe that was purposely made heavy to inflict a lot of damage even if the wearer only exerts a small force. Her toned legs and massive thighs indicated how much she trained her legs.
Instead of wearing full gloves, she bandaged and wore lighter ones. It was bright red, which could distract her opponents, but it would also deal a lot of damage because there was no padding on it.
" I want to test my limits today. Get ready to get your ass beaten shortly!" She said with a vicious smile.
" Haha, that's more like it! I like that smile of yours, co!" Samuel fired up, seeing her expression. For so reason, he didn't dislike her fiery temperant; her charm and being like that attracted him to her in the first place.
" Get ready. You already know the rules: tap or drag your opponent outside the boundary. No attack is out of rule, so you must prepare yourself!" She said while licking her lips; her gaze was at Samuel's crouch.
"This madwoman! It looks like I have to be a little careful." Samuel thought he understood what she was referring to, and without a guard, it beca a risk of losing his future offspring!
" Hahah, no need to be so scared. Even if I am like this, I hate to lose out on our nightly activities, but I hear dical fields have advanced a lot; I hope they can heal you."
" Shut up! Co, let's see where you get your confidence from!"
