" You sounded tense over the phone. Did sothing happen?" Joshua sat together in a luxurious reception room with Delphina, not knowing what to say.
Over the ti he drove out here, he received several more reports of how his son Jake made things worse for him. Informing the dia and calling the police chief were all worrying news; it was good that he didn't see the information yet, or else he would have coughed up blood!
" That... how can I say... we might have gotten into trouble." He danced around the subject, trying to find a way to lessen the impact.
" Speak comfortably; your hesitation is only making it worse." Delphina's intuition was tingling wildly, seeing her subordinate act strangely.
" My son, Jake, might have offended the Rothschild family."
" Pff...what?!" She spat out the tea that she was leisurely drinking. What the hell was he talking about? She thought.
" He didn't do that intentionally, but...." Joshua explained everything to her. The more she listened, the more her heartbeat escalated. It was an absurd story, but if it were true, her position in the family could be threatened.
" How can you let it happen? I warned you so often that he was up to no good, but you keep postponing it!" She roared in anger. He was responsible because Jake was his son, even if it was not his fault. She grabbed her forehead, trying to co up with a solution.
" Miss, I think you should see it." Nina, her butler who heard everything, was already started researching and happened to co across the news of Samuel's arrest. It was not hard to find, seeing it was already topping every search engine on the planet.
Everyone was going crazy, so supported him wholeheartedly, but many criticized him because he was rich and famous. With many countries' economies in shambles, they blad the rich regardless of the circumstances, so Samuel beca an easy target for them!
" H-how can this be?" Nina turned on the large screen television, and they watched the news repeating Samuel's public arrest repeatedly. Wild theories were thrown out with care, but one thing was clear his face was plastered on every news channel.
Joshua, who watched it started feeling dizzy too, it was too much to bear, and knowing Samuel's reputation, he could only expect worse. He pulled out his phone and gave out several orders.
First, to detain his son and stop him from doing more harm. Second was to monitor the company's stock market. Although VITA was a subsidiary, it had its own dedicated stock. Next, prepare a board eting urgently to tackle any incoming attacks from the Rothschilds.
Next, he called his secretary to drag his son to the station and retract his statent; no matter what he said, he had to do it without fail!
Delphina was not faring much better; she inford her own people and dialed soone whom she never expected to; it was her father. She had to do it because it would be a disaster if he found out about it from her older brother!
She was dreading but suddenly rembered soone who could quelch Samuel's anger. After briefly informing her father, she quickly called the number that she never called before.

" Even his gait is amazing! I never believed those fans, but sohow I was compelled to worship him?"
" Captain is also walking beside him; this is the first ti I've seen soone who didn't look flustered beside her."
" What's great about that? Our Captain is not worse than so famous actor!"
" So, he is most famous these days. Don't you see the crowd outside trying to overrun the station?"
" Oye! Quit chatting and co outside! We need more people to hold them off!"

" They are like a rabid pack of dogs; even though we arrested a few of them, they refused to stand down!"
Unlike regular days, it was pure chaos inside the station. It was already situated in a crowded area, but now, because of people gathering outside, the traffic was severely affected. If it continued like this, this whole city section would grind to a halt!
" Are you smiling? I thought you would be more nervous?" Kayla was surprised to see Samuel walking alongside her with confidence. He didn't look like soone who just assaulted sobody!
" Why should I be? I am happy to see I still have so many fans!" He replied smugly.
" Hahaha, good, but just because you have so money doesn't an you are above the law. I just want to remind you that it doesn't work that way since I am here." Kayla joked, but it was the truth.
Since starting her career, she ticulously caught many arrogant punks who thought they could get away with anything. She was reprimanded several tis, but since Lucas took his seat as the Chief, he secretly supported her in every endeavor.
This was how she beca the youngest Captain in the departnt's history!
" I know, but you don't have to worry. I already have a plan."
" Right, plan you never told yet. I don't think you will tell right now?" She ca close, trying to nudge his shoulder, but her monstrous breast sank into his arm.
" No, and stop pushing ! I don't want to flirt with a married woman. I also have so principal." Said the man who spent the night with Mayra yesterday.
" Alright, I will stop. I am not like this normally, but I am rooting for you!" She said with a smile and guided him to the interrogation room. After leaving him there, she would inform the Chief, but he was already outside the door.
He peeked inside and began asking her questions. While they discussed, Samuel pulled out his phone and redialed Abigail. He had already sent relevant evidence to her before he was arrested and wanted to know her status.
" Is it done?"
" Yes, sir. I pressured everyone, and soon, they will start playing the recording as you instructed. We have cut out a few parts where you insulted him. Other than that, everything is ready." She said over the phone.
" Good; anything else?"
" There is no movent from them, but I predict their stock will tank once the footage is released. Do you want to do anything more?"
" Hmm." Samuel thought and gave her a command to buy the dip. It had been so ti since Samuel made money like this!
VITA had a strong foundation and was a good choice for investnt when looking at their numbers. Even if the stock fell a dozen percent, Samuel was sure it would quickly recover in a few weeks.
