" You should prepare yourself before you get in." Alia said as they were about to reach her ho.
" How bad is it gonna be? This ti I also have so presents for them." Samuel shrugged her off, showing so gifts he picked up along the way. It's been nearly a year since they last saw the three little devils, as he called them.
" Keke, Don't co running to . I have already warned you." Nonetheless, Alia gave him one last head's up.
" What about Uncle George?"
" He is busy doing his usual stuff. Lately, he is more focused on independent films. He says it's more freedom and he gets to travel a lot more because of it."
" Well, he is very passionate about directing. He has been hounding for years to appear in one of his movies, I am delaying it since I didn't have much screen presence at that ti."
" Nonsense! I know what kind of crazy roles he has been offering you. No need to sugarcoat it, reject it until sothing caught your eyes. I am saying that as your agent."
" I guess I will keep doing that then."
They walked inside; it was already eight in the evening. Samuel thought the kids would be asleep by now, but they were waiting in the living room along with their caretaker. He was already dragging their good presents.
" Kids look who I brought with today!"
" Uncle Sami~!"
" Uncual Saami~"
" Owa Owa."
These kids gave appropriate reactions according to their age. Starting from the youngest was Rune, who was eighteen months old; Wynonna, who was three and Kenneth, who was already a little over six years old.
Naturally, they ca running up to him; seeing the heavy bags in his hand, they knew he must have sothing for them. Mainly because he was their favourite uncle!
" They just love you. Are you happy to see them?" Alia asked.
" Well, I do love them, but don't you think you should teach them not to call Uncle? I am barely an adult!" Samuel protested. It was not the first ti this had happened; he had pointed it out many tis, but It seed like Alia didn't correct them.
Wynonna and Kenneth grabbed his thighs while Rune crawled toward him slowly. Looking at their puppy eyes, he knew what they wanted.
" Settle down kids. I promise I have sothing for everyone!"
" Yay~"
" Here, these are for Kenneth." He handed him the toys that were suited for the boy. He knew what he liked, so it was easier for him to pick out toys for Kenny.
" Wow! It's the wall car! I love it!" What he was trying to say was the new Air Hogs Zero Gravity Micro car that was the craze these days. He didn't buy them anything fancy because they would quickly get bored of those.
" For Wynonna, It's a farm set! And the latest barbie set. I know you like this." Playmobil Horse Farm was popular among girls. After consulting Alia about it, she liked her dolls, so he threw in an expensive barbie set. He didn't want to give her a duplicate set.
" Thwak you, Uncual Saami." She looked happy with it, which was all that mattered.
Two of them went to the side after getting their present; by now, Rune had also co close to him. He picked her up into his arms.
" Wow, the princess got so big. Rune, how have you been?" Saying he would actually get an actual response from her was absurd.
But she smiled brightly and touched his face pulling so of his hanging hair strands. Maybe she understood what he was saying or wanted her gift; she was more affectionate than usual while hugging his face.
" Whoa girl! You will get dirty! I haven't taken a shower yet." He peeled her off and gave her to Alia while Rune was still protesting to get into his embrace. It was perfect as he handed her a big elephant about twice her size.
It caught his eye while shopping; what's crazy was this was the most expensive item out of all the toys he bought today. It went for five grand a piece as the authentic plushie because of the expensive material used to make it.
" Happy now? You can hold it for few minutes by them I will take a quick shower." It definitely did the job as Rune got busy inspecting her new toy.
" Go on, I will keep them busy. I already instructed them to clean your room."
" Alright. I will be right back." It was a big ho, but keeping a separate room for Samuel was too much for him. But Alia always insisted whenever he brought it up, he had to give up on convincing her.
After showering, he put on a clean pair of clothes. Besides having a separate room, he had so clothes in the wardrobe. He found that Rune had fallen asleep while holding her new plushie.
The other two kids were still testing out their new toys. For the next hour, he helped them with their toys, it was way past their bedti, but Alia made an exception because Samuel was there.
They were already drowsy by ten o'clock, so Samuel put them to bed and went downstairs to find Alia. She was already waiting for him with dinner.
"I know you haven't eaten anything all day so I told them to prepare your favorite als." Alia said as she set up the last plate.
" Thank you Aunt. I am famished, I see they went all out with it." He looked at the scrumptious spread and couldn't wait to dig in.
A hearty al was all he needed as he was tired after those bloody fights. While dinner, he told her about his day; it was so enjoyable that the house staff also gathered to listen to his conquests. They took it as a joke, but Alia gasped every ti he ntioned gunfire.
" It sound fun and dandy now but you should not do such thing again." Alia said at the end of it.
" Relax, madam. Young master is only joking, you should let his imagination run wild!"
" Right. I will get the plates. Young master, It was truly a gripping story. You should write it down, maybe you can be a famous author!"
" Yeah, Maybe I should do it." Samuel left them thinking it was fiction. No need to scare them as they looked happy when he was narrating.
" I am serious!" Alia warned him again when they left the table.
" I know but I can't promise you it will not happen again."
"*Sigh* Be more careful then and take your bloody guards with you next ti!"
" I will!" He couldn't do anything about it. He was eting a crazy old man who was too fond of his pistols tomorrow. If he told her about it, she would definitely flip out.
