Liliana was in a good mood today. Her company recomnded her to be a hostess for this banquet. She was paid $500 for five hours which was a lot by her standards.
As a person with a 'questionable' profession, she had to plan her every move just to pay back her debts. LA was a cruel place for people with ambitions, it first lures you in with sweet talks, and the next thing you know, you are struggling to put food on the table.
Being a beautiful woman in such an environnt was never easy; the higher one wanted to climb, the more strongly people would pull you down.
Her family circumstances were also 'special'. So, there needed to be more support from them.
Moreover, the organizers also promised that the food inside could be distributed among the staff after the banquet.
Before the banquet started, Liliana deliberately visited the kitchen area; the foods were rare as treasures, usually only seen in the movies, and she did not expect to one day enjoy it without worry.
The guest list also opened up her eyes. The usual Hollywood superstars were waiting in advance, and there were also so wealthy people she had only seen in the newspapers.
The formal banquet was about to begin, and most of the guests had arrived, but suddenly the elevator door opened again.
Three people walked out of it; the man appeared to be in his 30s looked handso with a clean look, and the woman who was holding his arm was even more exceptional, a true beauty sporting a black evening gown with an open back that complinted her perfect figure. One could tell she was mindful of her body.

Laura felt amused seeing her reaction. She, who was the adoration of countless individuals, had a polished discerning eye. She felt no jealousy from Liliana's gaze.
But when Liliana saw Samuel, her whole body was struck by lightning. She froze on the spot.
" Fuck! I have never seen such a handso man before. His appearance even rivals my crush!" She thought.
Although he appeared to be the sa age as her crush, his white hair looked more immaculate. Samuel looked more charming in this tuxedo with a personable and intoxicating temperant. She could also tell he had a fantastic body by looking at his tight-fit attire.
When the three passed by Liliana, she was still looking silly and forgot to greet them.
She hastily woke up from her stupor and quickly saluted, "Welco, you look perfect today!"
She blurted out sothing unnecessary.
" Wake up, you silly girl, you are a disgrace to Samatics!" She said inwardly.
" My, my, thank you, but were you talking about my son or ?" Laura chuckled.
" Um-, I-" Liliana was lost for words.
Samuel, who was looking around, also noticed the western beauty flushing with her head down. He wanted to greet her, but his mother interjected first.
" Oh, this is a sha. If the banquet host had found out that I was so rude, she would definitely have faced so consequences. My money! My five hundred dollars!"
Anna was annoyed with herself, but a gentle male voice interrupted her train of thought. "Thank you."
By the ti Liliana looked up again, the three had already walked through the banquet hall door.

As the host, the deputy leader of the Democratic Party, Douglas Rickman, had to be mindful of his guests. He had been chatting and interacting with essential guests to make them feel welco.
But he also kept looking at the gate from ti to ti, becoming distracting. He couldn't afford to ss up by failing to greet the most critical guest yet to arrive.
Finally, seeing three figures at the door, his eyes lit up. He quickly excused himself and said sorry to the guests around him, and went to greet the people in question.
"Hey, Robert, you are finally here. Sure kept waiting! " He spread his hands and gave Robert a warm hug; Laura stood aside with a smile.
"Mrs Rothschild, thank you for coming to this banquet." Douglas gave Laura a gentleman's kiss. He was conscious of other people's gaze.
"Douglas, we are old friends; what are you doing being so formal with ?" Laura gave him a playful look. Despite Douglas being a few years older than her, he was a mber of her 'gang' in the olden days.
"Haha, this is a formal occasion, but don't tell to call you 'big sister' or 'boss'. You have to understand I don't want to let others know about my 'dark' past. " Johnson scolded with a smile. Honestly, he was scared but heard that the 'demoness' was a little ta after becoming a mother.
But it was better to be prepared. He had made a list bunch of excuses if, by chance, she went wild tonight!
Douglas and Laura's family were acquaintances. Morgan's family had many mbers who belonged to the Democratic Party, and the political views of the two were surprisingly consistent. They watched each other grow up and were quite close friends.
"Ah, isn't this Samuel? Honestly, your kid is getting more and more handso. Follow later, and I will introduce you to pretty ladies."
