Samuel returned ho after closing his chapter with Clark. He didn't know what future had in store for the Green family but he knew the whole country would be experiencing the tidal affect of what he did.
He went to the office and asked everyone to take a rest. Their mission was over, only Jane remained as she wanted to help him find the location of Talia.
Daniel called him to his office to ask so questions. He could see that sothing changed in Samuel's deanor like a big weight has been lifted off his shoulder.
"You t her again? It seed like everything worked out in the end?" He asked.
"Yes. She will be relinquishing her support so that the relevant departnts would be able to finally move forward. I think by tomorrow, they will be taken into custody."
"Are you good? I an, leaving them up to the justice system to handle. These things will take ti and you might not get the desired outco."
"I am fine with it. With so much proof against them, they will be soon covered in lawsuits not to ntion whatever funds they have would be seized reserved for the compensation for their victims."
"And Clark? He is still missing."
"He will soon appear and will face similar consequences."
"Good but I thought you will surely bury him in so forest. You are never the one to show such rcy." Daniel probed.
"Let's just say that, he had already lost sothing important to him. No matter what he did in the future, this loss will remind him of ." Samuel shrugged not giving him a clear answer.
"What will you do now then? I have already asked your crew the ready the plane since you talked about going to the states. Stephen has been hounding everyone since you kept delaying the production of movie."
"He even has your number?"
"What can I say? He was very persistent and I never thought he would beco so obsessive but I can't say that I bla him for it."
"I know. I will talk to him soon." Samuel stood up and began to leave when Daniel said," We will find her. I have my best people working on the case."
"I know but I am afraid that it will be too late." With that he left the office and headed back ho.
He returned ho only to find it empty. It seed like his mother wouldn't be dropping off the girls anyti soon.
Beside aunt Mary is also with them, there is no telling what she would do or where they would go for shopping.
He didn't mind it as it will keep their minds off things. He didn't want them to drag into his ss as he wasn't feeling least bit satisfied after taking down a major enemy.
For now, he asked Amanda to prepare sothing while listening to her complain about lack of hired help. He wanted to help her clean up since so many people visited creating a ss but she vehently refused his help which seed counter-productive to what she wanted from him.
After eating, he cleaned up and prepare to go do so work in office when he suddenly recieved a phone call. He thought it was work but no, it was Darren who didn't contacted him ever since they landed in the country.
"What? You finally have ti to talk to . Is Emma not with you?" He asked trying ti appear cheerful.
"I am calling for the very sa reason. I think, our families found out about our little secret. She told her parents like to et formally."
"et you? You have been to every single movie premiere, haven't they already seen you?"
"That's what I am worried about. You know how I was in those days. I think they have the wrong idea about ." He said trying not to ntion the details.
"So let get this straight. They are worried because they have seen how you interact with ladies especially during those parties where you had different models in your arms trying to act all cool and mighty. Now they think you are playing with their only daughter's heart?" Samuel almost laughed.
He thought Darren's past would be behind him especially when Emma accepted it with a open heart granted he will have to change his ways which he did surprising many people including Samuel.
But as the son of one of the wealthiest family in the States and his overly showoffish personality, there would be a lot of 'materials' dia could work with and it wasn't hard for them to label him as a womanizer.
Samuel was very fortunate in this regard keeping his private life, under wraps but people still gossiped whenever he appeared in public with different girls in his arms.
"Dude, you don't have to rub salt on my wounds. I called you to help . Co with and just support -"
"Are you crazy? What will I do in your family dinner?"
"You are her best friend! No one will say anything."
"No, this is on you. My advise is that you should be honest with them just like how you are with Emma. That is the only way."

"But more than that, I wonder what Aunt Audrey thinks about this? She wouldn't be happy knowing you have been hiding it from her."
"She is my mother! At most, my allowance will be cut which you will happily subside so I am not worried about my side of rhe family."
"Right, I am not a bank but...I will help you but I am talking about Emma. She must be worried about your family considering.. you know."
"I know but my parents are not those kind of people."
"Yes but she will be nervous so look after her too. Now, deal with it, I have sothing urgent on my side."
"Hey? Co on man. Just this one ti-"
"Sorry, can't help you." He said hanging up while chuckling to himself. At least soone is happy.
