Titan growled but bowed his head when it saw Luna looking in his direction. It might act defiant in front of Samuel but Luna was the leader of their pack and her warnings were final.
Samuel carried the standard issue rifle and wore his special armour that could stop small to dium calibre bullets but those with good aim can hit his joints to inflict maximum damage.
He activated his life force radar and scanned the maximum amount which made him a little dizzy as normally he would keep the distance to required amount. The magic power needed for this spell was imnse as it dispersed the molecules in every direction giving him feed back whenever they sensed living things.
His surroundings lit up like fireworks but he soon phased out common animals focusing on humans which finally gave him his answer.
It wasn't a five man team, not even a ten n team but a thirty n group who were matching in his direction with breakneck speed.
There also seed be one leader who was leading their pack and the way their energy moved was indication enough how powerful this person was.
Leaping from ground to tree then jumping dozens of ters landing perfectly on the tree wasn't a feat just anyone could do. He couldn't see it but his sharp mind could visualise it based on the life force patterns.
Samuel knew this was going to be hard pressed battle so he shrank his radar and waited for the enemy to co closer. He knew if they had weapons he would need his shield which drains his power everyti it took a hit for him.
He might have accumulated and increased his magic reserves a lot over the years but it still needed ti to replenish. He didn't want to worry the girls by getting injured again.
The person leading the pack finally ca in his range. Luna growled but Samuel again warned her not to do anything foolish.
He readied his helt which hid his face waiting for perfect ti to strike. If he took care of their leader, they might lose their moral to continue.
"Halt! There is sothing wrong with this place." Surprisingly, it was a woman leading the pack. She wore a tight outfit and a large hood that obscured her face but her impressive build couldn't be hidden under her armour.
She walked back and spoke into her interface. Samuel was shocked again for a second ti, he heard her utter strange noises but his ability wasn't able to decipher it.
He had the power to speak all known languages in the world including those of the past so why didn't it worked this ti.
After her strange conversation, she told her people that this was a perfect place for ambush so they had to slow down and proceed with caution.
Samuel's plan to sneak attack failed before he could start. The lady was now in the middle surrounded by her n from all sides, they were definitely elites covering even her blind spots if there was any snipers.
With advanced night vision, it was basically like they were walking in the forest like it was daylight. Anything from small animals to lizard were squashed as soon as they made their presence known.
Even their weapons seed customised because he had never seen a rifle being this silent. It was a common misconception of people to think silencer could make the sound low enough that people around wouldn't notice it but these weapons were glowing with strange blue hue shooting projectiles that decimated the animals into pieces.
Samuel observed carefully, seeing there didn't seem to bullets but so strange energy that were hitting their target at high speed instantly killing the animals.
Maybe laser or so other black technology? He could finally confirm that these people must be from Vishkanyas. Only they had the history to accumulate technology that even Rothschild never discovered.
He beca apprehensive whether to stop them here not knowing if his shield would be able to block energies but seeing them inch closer to his location he knew he had to act.
This ti, he didn't want to hold back unleashing his full potential without carrying about who watched him. He wasn't planning to leave them alive since they dared to enter his ho so brazenly.
He already warned Rani and it seed like she made her choice so he had to act and consider her his enemy. He knew there would be a massive fallout but he was backed into a corner knowing they were here to kill him because he knew their secret.
"There!" The lady shouted. They hadn't spotted him but the wolves. Luna might not understand the concept of technology which led to this blunder.
Samuel sprang into action getting in front of the wolves shouting at them to run. The 'bullets' hit his shield which he had to extend further to take in the whole pack.
Luna saw the terrifying scene, the bullets hitting against the shield creating srizing sparks, it seems to lit up the whole area around them.
She gave Samuel one more low growl before pulling her forces away from him. Samuel was sighed with relief with seeing them safe but more than that, he knew now that his protection could work against their weapons and the great news was as it didn't have weight behind them.
There was very little loss of magic so even though he was being bombarded with twenty people constantly firing their weapons, he was doing fine.
"Stop firing! Stop firing!" The lady realised sothing was wrong. There should be no light or spectacles when they hit the target but this ti for so reason they were t with this surprise.
But she believed it was just a minor flaw, nothing could survive their weapons. It could even lt tanks and armours easily so there was no known things that could theoretically stop their bullets.
Samuel on the other hand disappeared like a ghost which led to the fireworks stopping hence the lady thinking they neutralized the threat.
Fortunately, this unexpected results gave him a window to get rid of their leader as she took steps to check the location he was in just few monts ago!
