"What are you going to do about this? Are you still going to go with your plan?" Daniel asked.
" Yes. They started it, but I have to finish it. I only wanted to get you in the loop since the situation has gotten out of control." Samuel said before he started to leave.
Daniel knew he wouldn’t be able to stop his nephew, and now that they were at this crossroads, he had to help him, but more than that, they had to update their security protocol for any unexpected situation.
When Samuel said it was bigger than any of them, he was correct. What he found in there was a very advanced and sophisticated tracking device. What is strange about the whole thing is that a bullet was used to deliver this ’payload’.
They might be able to do sothing similar, but the logistics and research required were imnse. A small group of rcenaries would not be able to acquire such an item so easily. This led to two major conclusions: either they stole it from soone else, or they are collaborating with soone competent enough to have access to these resources.
His team may have ditched the tail while fleeing, but that was probably what they intended from the start. With the locator still transmitting the signal, it was clear that whoever was on the receiving end knew their location.
If they told Robert Green about it, Samuel wouldn’t be able to do anything. He would either have to use force to silence him prematurely, burying everything in the process, or the Rothschild family would have to take so precautions when other factions began accusing them of abusing their power. Either way, he was fucked!
More than that, he was worried that whoever was behind the attack would beco bold and try to infiltrate the estate to take care of the lose end. His house was the last known location, so if they wanted to sneak inside, they would have to go through the forest because it was the safest way inside. Fortunately, his trusted wolves were there to protect them, but he was afraid they would be hurt, so he wanted to rush back and warn Luna not to approach any strangers.
Daniel had recently installed so surveillance in the area, which could be useful, but he was not sure at this point. Samuel headed back to the house and first found the wolf pack and tried to make them understand not to attack any intruders.
He was unsure whether they would follow his instruction, but he could tell that Luna could sense his anxiety. He headed back to check up on the girls. He felt guilty that they had to go through such an ordeal because of his negligence, but he also felt he could not be there for them to help them process what had happened.
The sun was setting by this point, so Adele and Robyn, who were sleeping, would be waking up as well. Maybe they have already t Kate and others, but he wouldn’t know for sure until he went inside and saw for himself.
But before he could do it, he saw Amanda in the living room busy with preparing dinner for everyone. As expected, she must have gotten wind about Kate, Bella, and Dhia’s arrival.

"I was feeling bored. With Nicole not being here, I barely have anyone that could keep company. I feel a lot better doing chores around the house beside; I heard that Miss Kate had returned with so friends."

"I promise, I will not disturb you youngsters. The walls are pretty thick around the room so it will not be a nuisance-"

"I get it. You have nothing to be concerned about. Not even listening to him, she maintained that knowing smile. He was aware of her thoughts, but he was unable to express them directly because it was awkward to do so. As a result, he was only able to depart without making ands.He was certain that he wouldn’t have to worry about her because she spent the majority of her ti in the mansion, but he should rember that there was another person living with them in case of an attack.
He scanned the living room and found that everyone was hurdled upstairs in the room where Adele and Robyn were in. Adele and Kate had already t Robyn and Bella, but Dhia was stranger to them. He didn’t know how well they would get along or whether there would be so misunderstanding, so he approached their room with so caution.
Fortunately, he heard so laughter and them talking over one another like they were having a good ti. He knocked on the door, just in case, before Adele said it was alright for him to enter.
When they saw that it was him, they were a little surprised; probably they thought it was Amanda nonetheless. He was being stared at by so many beautiful girls, which put him on edge. Despite the fact that these were probably the most difficult tis for him, he persevered.
"Why didn’t you tell Kate was coming to visit? Do you know how embarrassing it was when she found like this?" Adele was the first one to talk but it was more like complaint than greeting.
Samuel first looked at Kate and others; it seed like they didn’t tell Adele about the attack so he too decided it was best to hide it for now.
"She is a workaholic. No one knows when her next ti off would be; maybe she had one of those rare days and ca to see since I ca back. Who said that she is here to see you? She didn’t even know that you were here!" Samuel said in an incredulous tone.
"You might not know, but we are very close. But that’s expected since you are never around!"
"You may not have t Bella at the ti, but she is Kate’s closest friend and confidant, so stop interfering!" Adele threw the pillow to make him shut up. This appeared to have broken the ice, allowing their conversation to flow more naturally.

"Maybe they are different from other royal families? I saw that so of them like to train their children and force them to live like normal people for certain amounts of ti. It’s to build character." Bella chid in.
"You are right. This seed like the reason why soone here is so twisted in the head. We need to send him to the pilgrimage to bring out his real character!" Robyn comnted while looking at Samuel.
The girls all noticed him before they burst out laughing. He wasn’t really included in their conversation, but they would make fun of him every chance they got as a way to tease him relentlessly. Even Dhia, who would never join in such fun, couldn’t help but give out a few chuckles.
Seeing that he wasn’t really needed here, he decided it was best to leave them here to mingle. He could go downstairs and help Amanda in the kitchen. There were a lot of them, which ant she would need to prepare a big spread.
They didn’t even notice him leave because they were so engrossed in listening to Dhia’s explanation of why she was living way below her ans. She didn’t give them any straight answers because she didn’t want them to feel bad for her.
Females in her lineage weren’t ant to inherit the throne,, which ans, although she had her title as a princess, she was more like a political pawn who would be eventually used to secure so strong relations with other powerful families in the region.
Her family was also opposed to her wasting her ti studying abroad because they feared sothing would happen to her, particularly if she fell in love, which would disrupt their plans. But Dhia wanted freedom more than anything else, so she worked hard to get a scholarship at the most prestigious business school in the UK.
This was the only way her family would agree to her going abroad to study, but they made sure to remind her of the conditions. She could only be free for a few more years before being shipped to the next stage of her life, which was not particularly exciting in her mind. She knew it was her duty, but at the sa ti, she wanted sothing different for herself.
In that particular mont, she knew what she needed to do, but for now, she kept her thoughts to herself, not knowing how others would feel about it. Maybe after the deed was done, they had to accept it, but for now she could only daydream about the scenario!
