He quietly went down the stairs looking for anything unexpected but found nothing. The manor was not a small place, even though it was thirty percent completed, the place was like a maze for the people that didn’t know the way.
He knew his team must be waiting in the eting area so he headed in that direction passing by Amanda whom he greeted casually.
She was hardly surprised by his sudden appearance as it was common for him to do things like this. Beside she knew about the standing order to find him so he had to take so unorthodox route if he ever needed to evade detection.
" Did you co through the roof? You know, it’s dangerous right?" She comnted.
" I know, we will need to ask soone to fix it but for now just leave it as it is because I might need to use it i ln the future." Read new chapters at .Côm
" Young master, I worry about you a lot doing these things on whim. Just imagine if you fell from such height, you could get severely injured or.."
" Aunt Amanda, you know I have always been careful. I promise I will try to take the least risky route the next ti but now I don’t have any choice."
" Don’t say that I didn’t warn you. I can imagine everyone swarming this place of they ever found out that you were hurt." She said with a sigh not knowing how else she could talk so sense into the young man.
He had always been a free spirit since he was a child and maybe that inhibited his sense of fear. No matter how much others priased him for being strong, she was sure no human could co out in one piece after such a fall.
" Are they inside?" He asked.
" Yes, they had been waiting for you for fifteen minutes. I let them in when they said you called them here."
" I did. Thanks as always, we might need so snacks and drinks so I have to trouble you for it." He said before walking away.
" You know, I am the only person working here right? Why don’t you hire few more maids or ask your parents to send so people here? I am getting too old to work around the clock." She shouted as a way to tease him.
" I might take you up on that offer. Let see what I can do about it."
" No, no, I was just kidding-"
" No, I can see how much work you have to do to maintain this place. We do need so new maids soone personal that would not report everything back to my parents." He muttered but she heard it.
" For that, I don’t think anyone from the main family would do. You will have to look outside or train new people but it’s hard in this modern age with so much restrictions." Amanda told the truth.
A thought flashed for a second about Nicole training those girls as maids when he left. Maybe they would like to co here to work for him but he dismissed it imdiately, he knew what those people would chose. They would want to go back to their ho country and forgot about everything that happened to them.
He could only hope, Nicole would be able to help them overco their trauma with the help of professionals. It was a tall task which was why he was proud when she volunteered for it.

" Boss you are late." Jane said while pouting.
" I didn’t have luxury to take the road. Walking through dense jungle tend to make you forget about ti."
" Enough of this, we have work to do. We found a lot on the Greens more than we hoped for." Arthur was in mood for small talks. He motioned Jane to start the presentation.
Jane smiled helplessly as she was just trying to lighten the mood but Arthur was right, they didn’t have ti to chit-chat.
" Show what you found." Samuel also took his seat as Jane opened the projector with lots of data on it.
" Firstly, if we want to hit them where it hurt the most we can go after his wife’s company. Apparently, he had been funneling money from his company to support his wife’s shrinking apparel company that’s been constantly loosing money. They have been able to deceive the investor by faking the numbers and artificially creating sales but it’s a sinking ship. Their plan is to let it run for couple of years before packaging it up to sell to so big corporation. With their illustrious na involved these people have enough pull to fool even those people and maybe they could really make the business profitable enough to achieve a legit sale."
" What’s the valuation of the company?"
" Two and half billion but actual number is much less."
" Alright continue."
" He also transferred a substantial amount of wealth in his wife’s na probably to evade taxes. It is in hundreds of millions and mostly deployed to invest in different sector through their agency. A nice chuck of change for them to continue their lavish lifestyle."
" Nice, anything about other family mbers? Is there s friction between the two sons or any other mbers of family?"
" If we are talking family drama then there is a lot. The younger one always had to live in the older’s shadow making him extrely conceited. He would lash out at random people and there had been many cases of him hitting people or punishing the staff of their business while threatening them to ruin their life." Jane tone beca serious as she started talking about the boys.
" Just like his older brother, he had been involved in several cases related to abuse and even rape but everyti the family would bail him out. Still it’s nothing compared to the righteous pretending jerk of his older brother who is connected to several missing girl’s cases. Each ti so evidence would miraculously disappear or in case of shitty parents they would pay them out and make them sign a death contract just keep them from coming back. Few million pounds are nothing for them, just the fee of retaining their lawyer would go up in tens of millions because they are so notorious in the city."
" Why didn’t anyone ca forward. It wouldn’t be that they would only target girls from poor background right? Soone powerful must have suffered by their hands too." Samuel said while clasping his hands in anger. He knew they were evil but this was too much, it was like a plague brought upon on the city and no one was doing anything about it.
" There were so cases but these people have high connection not just in governnt but also in criminal worlds. So have lost their business while others would get into accident making them fear to do anything."
" Good, we don’t have to feel bad for what we are about to do then." He said not just for himself but for each person in the room. They were not psychotic killers but a force for good, at least that’s what they try to be whenever such things would pop back on their radar.
" Tell about the rest of the family."
