" Just give it to ." Samuel snatched up Jane's bag and asked the wolves to move. If they didn't have any carry bag, he would honestly strap them on the wolves and make them ride them but unfortunately, that scene couldn't be recreated at the mont.
" Boss, they would be here any mont." Steve knew the basic protocols.
" It would be a advance party delivered by air..See? There is already a faint roar in the air signalling their arrival." Arthur added.
He knew when Daniel was serious, he would directly use the best equipnts with a goal od achieving his mission. The reason why he was at the chief's postion was not because of his strength but because of his ingenious plans.
Many tis leaders had to give orders that would either make or break the situation not to ntion difficult orders of holding the line knowing the probability of their success was single digit.
No matter the situation, he would be steady always having his sight on the ultimate goal. Even if they lost in the beginning, he would squeeze out at least twice from his enemies which was why he was so feared!
" So we can't escape?" Jane said a little tired. For so reason she was feeling a lack of strength which was unusual.
She might not be as powerful as them but her endurance was on par with her team mbers after all her work might be related to computers but the terrains and surroundings that they usually operated on wouldn't be able to accomodate her chubby high school goth look! " Should be gear up for a fight? Normally they would send a team of six but this ti I expect double that number. Not to ntion other people would be coming to our location and they would probably reach this place in half an hour on foot." Cho comnted. He wasn't going to get taken down without a fight even when it was against the people he knew.
" No, we will keep moving. Just pick up the pace and leave everything up to ." Samuel denied all their ideas and told them to keep moving before picking up a small stone.
The drone was couple hundred feet above the ground and was constantly moving. It might be a unrealistic idea but he was confident he could do it.
Samuel didn't say anything and they started moving. He was at the back aand had asked the wolves to speed up not before turning around looking directly at the drone.
The operator who was controlling it thought they had given up and would have a last stand fight near the clearing. He could see Samuel looking up probably trying to find the drone but because it was dark and the drone was so high up, it would be impossible for him to see it with naked eye especially when the operator was continuously moving it to avoid detection.
In the command room, Daniel had already gotten the news about their discovery. As Samuel and Arthur expected, he had send the advance party whose job was to keep the target in place if not just delay their movent.
With them being at the edge of the unexplored area, he didn't want Samuel to get lost or possibly injure himself in the forest. He was only tasked with capturing him not hunt him down like a criminal.
" Sir, the team would touch down within two minutes. They still seed to be in the area, we have a clear aerial view on them." One of his subordinate reported. They had been wrecking their brains since morning, with the recent developnt they could finally breath a sigh of relief.
Daniel nodded but for so reason he felt like he would fail this ti. He had tried to make himself unpredictable and also made several contingency plan if the advance party failed their mission, but it still didn't feel enough for Samuel.
Suddenly, the feed that he pulled of the drone went black which confused him. There was little chance of equipnt failure and usually birds tend to avoid these drones because of their constant noise.
He reversed the feed and saw a final dark shadow after which the screen turned black with a lost connection text written on the feed.
With the team on their way, the aerial shots were crucial but fortunately they were already close enough that they could keep monitoring the ground.
Samuel knew it wouldn't be enough but he wanted to rid them of as many 'eyes' he could.
The drone operator tried many different things but never manage to find out what happened with their equipnt.
Many people in the building believed that it was pointless to even go through these lengths to capture their young boss. Anyone who knew what Samuel was capable off would say that the mission would surely fail one way or another.
They still think it would be best if they recalled the mission and try a more friendly approach. At least this way, they wouldn't have to face off against soone like him.
Samuel was pleased with his handywork after all it wasn't easy to flick his finger which shot the small stone like a teor. Just the speed alone seed comparable to guns!
Steve and others had already walked hundred ters ahead of their boss. They would look back to see if he was following them which he was but for so reason now he was no where to be seen.
They wanted to turn back but Luna growled and directly grabbed Steve's clothes trying to make them keep moving. She knew what he wanted and was going to help him one way or another.
They kept walking and walking when Arthur who complian about low rumble of helicopter noticed that the tal birl was getting closer.
They really wanted to go back and help Arthur told them to keep following the wolf. By now no one really cared how these wolves were so smart, all they pray was for his safety!
