Adele was startled for a second before she also said," No, no. I am sorry for lashing out." Roby. was soone she looked up to, now they were in the sa boat.
" But...Why? How did you et?" She still asked the important question. She wanted to know she was riling her up so suddenly or whether she knew about her and Samuel's situation adn whether this was why she got closer to her.
Robyn knew what she wa getting at so for the half an hour, she told Adele everything and how she ca to know him. Samuel also got to hear her perspective and when she declared her inner feelings, he was a little ashad to assu things about her.
Robyn might be reckless and unabashed but she had a soft heart. It was wrong for him to assu that she was a 'free' person. She obviously thought better about him than what he did about her.
" When did you find out?" Adele asked.
" I didn't know about it until soone told . I thought the person sounded familiar and I also knew that he was from this place but I never thought that I would et you by coincidence." Robyn said with a calm smile. It was her truth.
" So why didn't you tell ?"
" It's just, I didn't know when he was coming back and from the looks of it he never told you so I didn't think it was my place to say anything beside I only stayed behind hoping to et him but I would have never expected this to happen. If he didn't ca back right now, I would have gone back to the states. I am not exactly free and the company is urging to go back." Robyn stated.
Ultimately, it beca his fault for hiding thing. Robyn thought he was trying to keep what happened in Paris from others and she didn't want to create unnecessary friction for him.
She didn't know what ca over her when she made her move. It might be because she saw their warm reunion so she wanted to stake her claim too!
Samuel who was driving almost choked feeling their stare at the back of his head. He wasn't trying to be sneaky at all, why would he hide such things knowing how they felt about it? Did he already tell them about Helga and Katarina?
" It wasn't my fault. There was too much happening for to rember these things. You know how busy I was these past few days." He clarified the situation after all it was a white lie and the real thing about his ridiculous assumptions would never see light of day now that they cleared things.
" I was hoping to introduce you two after all, I think you guys could work together in future. Adele might not be famous right now but you must have seen her songs. With the company supporting her, she would definitely make waves in the music industry due to her debut album!" He said confidently.
" Why do I feel like he is lying to us?" Adele murmured. As soone who knew him inside out how could she not catch up on slightly raised tone in his voice but unfortunately for her, he would never admit to it not in this lifeti!
" Well, since you know everything. I also want to tell you about other things. I hope you wouldn't feel discouraged by it." Robyn didn't know the dynamic of their relationship. She did hear rumours about him being prolific with many girls but she felt like it was normal for soone of his stature.
She had been in the industry for half a decade and had seen many things but even she would have never expected how strange his relationship was with others.
If she hadn't experienced it, she would have never thought it would be possible. After all, it felt like so feudal age drama in modern tis! How could it be so harmonious? There was bound to be different interest involved with it ca to different individuals!
Adele listened as Robyn told her more, about Miranda, Katr and even Disha. There were more characters but since Nicole was his personal maid, Adele might know her.
Robyn thought about it earlier, since she wanted to co clean she didn't care about how Adele and Samuel's relationship would be affected by such revelations.
She felt like he was hiding things from Adele. For the short amount of ti they spend together, she had a lot of respect for her junior. If she didn't clarified it, she would feel a little guilty.
But contrary to her beliefs, Adele didn't exploded or even blad him. She just smiled and shook her head like it was normal. She never expected such a developnt, wouldn't she be blaming both her and him right now? It was only logical but Adele was calm as a cucumber!
Samuel also never interjected their conversation. Since the other party was doing his job for him, he was actually relieved. If Adele asked him, he would have to explain to her whole hours since she would ask him silly questions trying to make him feel guilty but she couldn't do the sa thing to Robyn!
" Aren't you surprised?" Robyn asked.
" Why should I? I know all his shenanigans. There is nothing surprising about it. I am shocked by the number this ti. It seed like out 'club' would be expanded a lot this ti." Adele said while shaking her head.
" I don't understand." Robyn didn't know much about him. She never thought she would fall for soone like him, just his identity was enough not to ntion that handso face and body but in actuality she didn't know much about his private life, not many people did. For the rest of the journey, it was Adele's turn to pick uo the history book to tell Robyn about all his dark history. He who listened to them could help but smile helplessly whenever they laughed and made fun of him during so hilarious episode.
He had to admit his life was quite colourful. So colourful infact that it was absurb. The saying about truth being stranger than fiction fitted him perfectly. Even he couldn't deny it.
While they talked, he drove towards sowhere unexpected. Since he already t Adele, he wanted to go find Kate. It was one hour past noon, so she must be in her restaurant preparing for the evening.
He didn't eat much during breakfast and was craving so of Bella's specialities!
