Samuel just shook his head,he decided it was best to just tell her the truth.
" There is nothing wrong with you but I could force myself on people who are clearly not sober. Beside, It all happened because of Nicole I have already punished her so you don't have to worry about it."
" Just forget about it. You guys will be leaving soon, I am going to prepare a feast for every so look for ward to it. Miss Disha?" He turned toward the slightly ajar bathroom door and directly called out to her.
" I am sorry for what happened. I should have talked you all out of drinking. It was your first ti so you might not rember much but I hope that this wouldn't co between our friendship."
He said his piece and left the room. Disha ca out blushing hard, she only rembered parts of what happened but Kate told her everything making her feel like crawling into a hole and disappear!
Although both girls felt the attraction toward him, they had different ideas of how to go about it. Disha was trying to take it slow, she didn't have much experience in dating but she had envisioned a traditional courting which was completely different Kate's idea of 'hit and run'.
" What do you think? Was he lying?" Kate asked.
" I don't think so. It was our fault from the beginning, it's fortunate that we didn't go all the way." Disha said with a sigh. There was a part of her that wanted it to happen but she completely ignored it.
Kate looked at the relieved expression on Disha's face and then rember her euphoric expression from last night, were they sa person?
" Alright, I wanted to go see them but I think they would be too tired to wake up." Kate was used to this, sa thing happened yesterday.
" Yeah, I am going to pack my things. Mu flight leaves at noon."
With that, they could only leave the room with mixed emotions.
Right as Samuel was making his way to the detached kitchen, he encountered another one of his 'guests'. Candice was coming back from the training, all sweaty and bruised but unlike her disheveled, her eyes were beaming with energy.
" Good morning." He greeted her which startled her but she soon regained her composure.
" Morning, Mr Samuel."
" You are up early. Is the training going well? They could be intense at tis." He said with a smile. The ghost soldiers were known for their harsh training and unyielding resolve. They might push it too far unknowingly.
Candice fixed her wet hair that was sticking to his face and pulled them up in a ponytail. Her glistening skin and tight outfit revealed her pristine beauty not to ntion, her face was flushed because of physical exertion. She really was a gorgeous woman!
" It's alright. I didn't know I needed it until now. I usually train light because I can't have much muscles but right now, I don't really care." She said while wiping out her face. Samuel retracted his lingering gaze and composed himself.
Even soone like him could potentially fluster in front of hottest supermodel but he wasn't going to embarrass himself this ti.
" That's good. I was just about to ask what would you like to eat. This morning, I will be cooking everyone's al." He didn't know about her likes and dislikes after all they barely talked after the initial encounter.
" Ah, can you cook? I would like to ask for sothing light but nutritious. I am not a picky eater."
" Alright." He thought their conversation was over and began to walk away when she called out to him.
" Wait! Mr Samuel!"
" Yes?"
" I-i...I would like you thank you for what you did yesterday. I was really in a bad place at that ti and needed it." She said in a embarrassing tone.
She couldn't believe that she told him her life story and even hugged and cried all over his chest ugly sobbing. She knew she wasn't in her right mind at that ti but at the sa ti she knew she had troubled him greatly.
Even other girls ca to her rescue consoling her for hours before she finally cald down. It's not like her to share her troubles with others which was why she was guilty about everything.
" It's alright. Everyone goes through heart break, it's normal. I got to share so birden with a beautiful won, I thought I wasn't cut out to be a knight in shining armour maybe I was wrong." He joked and chuckled which worked. She laughed alongside him which lightened the mood.
But suddenly her face turned gloomy again.
" I know I am pitiful. I an, even now I am struggling whether I should just forgive him and give him another chance. After all we have been together for three years and shared many great mories."
Samuel was amused to see her like this not because he was laughing at her predicant but because she was the most 'normal' girl he t in a long ti!
It's not like he didn't want to live a man's dream and play with many beautiful girls but sotis he really think there was sothing wrong with their so called 'club'. Maybe it was fate's doing that he got to et with so many beautiful woman who think so highly of him.
He fully expected them to wage a war of factions, undermining one another or even manipulating people behind the scenes after all such were the cases from the past from village chiefs to monarchy.
But his situation was completely different, they actively supported him and got along with their 'sisters' like it was most normal thing to do. What's outrageous was that they actively recruited other for their 'cause'. He was but only one man, if he didn't have his related titles, he would be long dead after getting 'squeezed' every night!
" You think I am stupid right? Everyone warned about it but I thought love would get us through such tis but I guess I was wrong." Candice caught the mischief in his eyes.
" No, no. You misunderstood. I was just laughing at myself after all our situation is a complete one eight from one another." He hurriedly assured her.
" How so?"
" Maybe I will tell you about it so other ti. For now, I have feed those hungry cats or they would eat alive!" He laughed it off not trying to involve her in his ss. He was satisfied with having Miranda for that and who knows if his way of life rubs on her, she would be in deep trouble trying to justify her boyfriends actions!
