Monster is a 2003 Arican biographical cri drama film written and directed by Patty Jenkins in her feature film directorial debut. The film follows serial killer Aileen Wuornos, a street prostitute who murdered seven of her male clients between 1989 and 1990 and was executed in Florida in October 2002. (Wikipedia.)
It was quite sneaky that the movie of this woman's autobiography would be released a year after her death. As if soone decided to make a movie out of her after knowing she was going to die...
The female lead of the movie was actually Charlize Theron. She put a lot of weight into the role and even resorted to shaving her eyebrows. She sacrificed a lot just to give the best performance in Monster.
Why did she do that? Because Monster was a movie made for the Academy Awards. The plot, the characters, everything was designed to be nominated for the Oscars and other film festivals/awards.
And it did. Monster was nominated for many awards.
At the Academy Awards, Charlize Theron won the Best Actress award. The biggest award an actress can get in her whole life. Charlize may have sacrificed a lot for the role, but the achievents she received were worth it.
At the Golden Globes, Charlize Theron also won the Best Actress award. Another big award show in Hollywood.

Berlin International Film Festival.
And on and on.
Charlize Theron won so many awards by portraying a prostitute serial killer, which was actually a difficult thing to do. Charlize Theron was a beautiful actress, but she decided to destroy her image just for this role.
The Academy Awards saw her dedication and gave her the Best Actress Award, the golden statue that represents her achievent in the industry.
But from the looks of it, Brianna Evans was interested in the project as well.
Kazir's eyes narrowed as he stared at Brianna Evans. He could see that Brianna was in the state of thod acting... And she was deep into it.
Soone like her could lose herself if she continued to play this psychotic role.
A lot of actors/actresses were traumatized by the roles they played, and soone like Brianna who did thod acting was susceptible.

These people suffered from their roles. One of them even died.
If Brianna continued down this path, her fa would not last.
"Babe?" Angelina sensed that Kazir was staring at Brianna too much, so she squeezed his arms.
She didn't like him staring at other girls...
Kazir ca to his senses and apologized to Angelina. The woman sulked but let it go.
Then Kazir talked to Salvatore, who was waiting for his answer.
"Did she get the role or is she just going to audition?"
"She's going to audition, but from the looks of it, the producer is interested in casting her," Salvatore replied based on the information he got.
"Salvatore, don't let Brianna take that role. I say she fits into bubbly girl roles and sweet girl type roles. Not sothing serious like as a serial killer."
Kazir didn't want to hear a news that Brianna killed a man because she couldn't perceive reality.
"That's what I told her, but she said she was tired of it. She said she wanted sothing serious, sothing that would challenge her acting."
"I understand. If I find a role that suits her, I'll let you know."
"I'm up for anything, as long as it's not a serial killer... I'm afraid of Brianna right now, to be honest."
Kazir nodded and agreed. He looked at Brianna and found the woman talking to Ben Stiller, but her deanor was not cheerful. Ben Stiller felt uncomfortable and didn't know how to act. He also felt that Brianna was acting differently.
The premiere of et The Fockers went on and nothing much happened. They just watched the movie and did so interviews.
Paramount was the investor and distributor of et The Fockers and they were serious about making money.
et The Parents was written by Kazir and Paramount got the script in exchange for distributing three movies. et The Fockers was also part of the deal. In exchange for the three-movie distribution deal, Kazir had to write the et The Parents trilogy for $500,000 each.
I'd say they both earned in that exchange.
Grey Pictures successfully launched the Continental Cinematic Universe because Paramount distributed three of their films. In return, Paramount got a franchise that made them a huge profit.
The script was written by Kazir, everyone had high expectations for the movie.
And their expectations were t, the first weekend of et The Fockers made $31.55 million.
Brianna Evans and Ben Stiller along with the rest of the cast toured North Arica to promote the movie. However, they only went to Canada and the United States because those were the two countries that spent the most on tickets.
Stuart Little 2, produced by Sony-Colombia, was also released on the sa day as et The Fockers. The film grossed $15 million in its first weekend.
This made et The Fockers the box office champion of the week.
However, the movie had a strong opponent next week.
Austin Powers in Goldmber, produced by New Line Cinema, was one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie was funny and made a lot of people laugh.
On Sunday, July 27, Austin Powers in Goldmber grossed $55.65 million. In fact, Austin Powers was one of the best cody franchises of all ti and its box office showed why.
As for et The Fockers, well, it just made $132.85 million after ten days in theaters...
