[Chapter 299: New Sisters at the Estate]
By mid-morning, the gentle Los Angeles sunshine filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room.
Inside, three people had just finished a night full of passionate and joyful monts. Sitting at the dining table in the suite, Linton recalled a promise he hadn't yet fulfilled to Vivian Chow.
"Vivian, have you sorted out your singing contract?"
"Yes, it's settled. My current contract expires in March, and after that, I've signed with Universal Music."
"Good. I've prepared a song for you -- Faded."
"Thank you, darling. Mwah."
"Do you have an agent here in the U.S.?"
"No."
"And you, Michelle?"
"No agent either."
"Then why don't you spend a little more ti in Los Angeles? After breakfast, I'll take you to the estate so you can get familiar with the place. Tomorrow, I'll introduce you to an agent. Whether you're a singer or an actor here, the law requires an agent."
"Thank you so much."
"The day after tomorrow, I'll take you to Universal Music to get your single officially released."
"You're too kind, I really have to thank you properly," Vivian Chow said, suddenly leaning down at the table.
"Wow, Michelle, that movie Rumble in the Bronx is good, and your role as Nancy is also impressive. You should play the role well."
"Thanks, darling, I want to thank you too." After saying this, she got on his lap.
...
It wasn't until nearly noon that Linton took Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis back to the estate.
He introduced them to Madonna, who was staying at the estate on vacation, and to the housekeeper.
He assigned the last two rooms on the second floor to them. Originally, these rooms were reserved for his aunt's family whenever they ca to Los Angeles, but his aunt disapproved of his lifestyle and feared her husband and daughter might be negatively influenced, so she refused to stay at the estate.
So rather than let these rooms go unused, it was only right to put them to good use. After all, he couldn't treat Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis any differently than others.
But this ant the estate was now fully occupied, so taking in any more people would be difficult. He realized it was ti to set high standards and strict requirents.
...
Madonna and housekeeper Amy were already used to newcors and warmly welcod Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis.
Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis were amazed to et Madonna -- the world-famous superstar living alongside them at the estate. It felt like she was one of their own sisters.
What shocked them even more was Madonna's youthful and radiant appearance.
"Excuse , but are you really the Madonna Ciccone we all know?" Michelle Reis couldn't hold back her curiosity.
"That's -- the famous singer Madonna Ciccone. From now on, we're sisters. Just call Madonna."
"Oh my God, that's unbelievable! Can you share your secret to staying so young and beautiful?"
"Isn't that obvious?" Madonna asked back with surprise before casting a strange glance at Linton.
"Should we know?" Michelle Reis and Vivian Chow exchanged puzzled looks.
"Hasn't Linton told you?"
"Told us what?"
Madonna checked with Linton; seeing he didn't object, she continued. "To put it plainly: Did you not feel anything special when you played with Linton?"
"Special? You an..." Michelle Reis suddenly caught on and exchanged excited looks with Vivian Chow.
"Alright, since we're sisters now, I'll tell you the truth. It's no joke: Linton's our lucky star. As long as we keep playing with him, we stay youthful and beautiful forever."
"Really?"
"Didn't you feel it after playing with him before?"
"That's aweso! You're an angel, darling," Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis were ecstatic. Any earlier reluctance they had about having so many sisters vanished instantly as they both threw themselves into Linton's arms.
"Okay, you're my darlings, too."
"Darling, can we really stay young and beautiful forever?"
"No problem. We just need to keep playing together."
"Then I want to do it every day."
"Fine, but you have to keep it a secret. If it ever got out, I'd have no peace ever again."
"Don't worry, none of us will tell anyone."
"Co on, I'll show you around the estate. This will be your new ho in Los Angeles."
...
Linton and Madonna then toured the estate with the two won, who were dazzled by the luxury. They were experienced celebrities used to the best, but Hong Kong's expensive, cramped spaces couldn't compare. Even top-tier mansions there maxed out at about 2,000 square ters, while this estate covered nearly 30,000 square ters -- in a completely different league.
True to her role as the big sister, Madonna made Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis feel warmly welcod. The three quickly bonded and called each other sisters, which made Linton very happy.
Following his usual routine, Linton assigned a female bodyguard to each of them to give them freedom to shop for cars in the city. He also gave them each a check for half a million dollars to buy small villas nearby.
Most importantly, Linton took out two blank quartz pendants engraved with runes from his safe and asked what designs they wanted. With his current abilities, carving designs on the pendants was easy -- just a thought would create them instantly -- but he chose not to do it then, wanting to keep things low-key. He planned to give them the pendants in a couple of days.
...
After lunch, Linton rembered all the work he had piling up. "Vivian, Michelle, I have to go to the company to handle so business this afternoon. You two can take your ti getting familiar with the estate and decorate your rooms when you get a chance."
"Darling, you go ahead and take care of your work. We'll take care of ourselves."
"Madonna, Vivian and Michelle are new here. Please help them get comfortable so they can feel at ho quickly."
"Don't worry, darling, I'll take good care of my two little sisters. They'll feel like this estate is their ho in no ti. Co back early tonight, and we can have so fun."
...
In the evening, when Linton returned from the office, he found the three won getting along like real sisters. Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis's rooms were already decorated, and their luggage had been fetched from the hotel.
anwhile, Raymond Chow and Jackie Chan were busy preparing the film and had returned to Hong Kong, giving Vivian Chow and Michelle Reis plenty of ti off.
That night, the housekeeper and the chef team pulled out all the stops, serving a fusion feast of Western and Chinese cuisine to welco the two new ladies.
Linton also took the three of them to the underground wine cellar to select two bottles of Romanee-Conti wine.
After dinner, Madonna, eager to start a family, imdiately took the three upstairs.
"Darling, and my two sisters have planned so new fun..."
