[Chapter 216: Izumi and Noriko's Idea]
Linton hadn't realized the deaths of Piero and Kentrey to set off such a cascade of events. Two rival organizations were so unsettled that they pulled out all their operations -- an unexpected windfall for him.
Even more surprising was how the success of Step Up 2 accelerated Leonardo DiCaprio's fa. He rose to stardom sooner than in the previous tiline, and as a result Hillary's influence reached him earlier, too.
Under Universal's promotion plan, Linton embarked on an overseas tour. In Japan, Izumi Sakai and Noriko Sakai -- normally private -- accompanied him openly to every event, standing proudly at his side. Their presence dominated headlines and front-page spreads, but covered in a distinctly Japanese style, emphasizing artistry over scandal.

Asahi News ran: Shocking: Arican Music Star Enchanted by Asian Diva
The article noted Izumi's new English single, Complicated, composed by Linton, and described her public support as a natural response to his visit.
Tokyo Evening Post declared: Explosive: Pure-Hearted Beauty srizes Young Arican Director
Osaka Daily added: Arican Superstar Arrives in Tokyo, Visits Izumi Sakai and Noriko Sakai
Across all outlets, the angle was the sa: two celebrated artists flanking the foreign star.
The coverage also highlighted Noriko Sakai's significant role in Hollywood's movie Happy Death Day, scheduled for official release at the end of September. The production was financed by Linton's film company.
Izumi Sakai and Noriko Sakai's experiences made many female stars in Japan drool with envy. Hearing about Linton's promo visit, they had all prepared their own romantic sches, hoping to be the one heading to Hollywood.
At that ti, Hollywood was the true global entertainnt center, wielding irresistible attraction over female stars worldwide, especially devastating in Japan.
Noriko once told Linton that even a small part in Hollywood could instantly raise her value multiple levels.

By the end of the day, the dia frenzy had cooled just enough for Linton's album sales to keep climbing. Yet behind the scenes, Izumi and Noriko maintained a careful balance: staying close to Linton in public to prevent other contenders from making their move, while plotting quietly to expand their own influence in his inner circle.
Izumi and Noriko's roots and careers were in Japan, and Linton rarely ca, once or twice a year. They hoped to create better impressions of Japan so he would visit more frequently.
"Darling, he's incredible," Izumi said, leaning close.
"eting him is our lucky break," Noriko agreed, brushing a lock of hair from her face.
They exchanged knowing looks. Both had deep roots in Japan's entertainnt world, yet spent much of their ti in Paris. They understood the ga.
"Hahaha -- do you think the others are jealous?" Izumi teased as they relaxed on the bed.
"There's always soone scheming," Noriko replied. "That's why we each recomnded a friend to Linton. Better we guide his circle than let others control it."
Izumi nodded. "We've angered enough people already. Agencies may pressure us, but we hold influence in Linton's estate."
They rembered Sophie Marceau had once introduced Cristiana Reali, leading to a three-player ga with Linton. Both were French, living in Paris, a city pulsating with hormonal vibes.
Madonna had once gathered the both of them for a private eting, resulting in a fourso.
These lent weight to their current strategy.
Izumi laughed softly. "He definitely deserves a little chaos. Keeps him on his toes."
---
At the Tokyo Hilton Hotel, just after their friendly card ga ended, a new tension rippled through the group. Noriko Sakai leaned forward, a sly smile playing on her lips.
"Darling, do you know my friend Shizuka Kudo? She's a singer and actress -- very beautiful -- and she wants to et you."
Izumi Sakai stretched out beside Linton and gave a soft laugh. "And don't forget Akina Nakamori. She's less famous now, but still stunning -- and she'd love an introduction."
Linton raised an eyebrow at them both. What was going on? They were scheming to introduce other female stars to him -- what a twisted plot! Were they really not jealous enough already? And was Japan more open-minded about this than France? Based on his past encounters with Izumi and Noriko, he doubted it.
"Hahaha, baby, are you two not jealous?"
Izumi t his gaze squarely. "Jealous? Of course we are. But female stars here rarely hold true independence. No matter how famous, they are all controlled by syndicates and must attend to aging executives."
Linton shook his head, amused and sowhat pitying these artists.
Noriko nodded. "If I hadn't t you, I might not have escaped all this. Now… no one dares to push around. We want you to bring Shizuka and Akina into your inner circle, to give them their own mont in the spotlight."
Izumi added, "You've spent more ti in Arica lately. But look at how impressive Akina Nakamori and Shizuka Kudo are -- beautiful, charming, respected in our world. We hope you'll visit here more often."
Linton leaned back, his expression patient but firm. "I already told you -- the rooms at the estate are enough. Now we need to control how many new mbers actually enter the inner circle."
