Robert Stephens: "You don’t like it? You picked it yourself."

Charlotte Smith looked at him, furrowing her brows, bowed her head and said nothing.

The man saw her frowning and thought she was really dissatisfied. He sighed lightly and patted her head, "I’ll get you a bigger one next ti."

Charlotte wrinkled her nose, her voice beca a bit hoarse, and she said softly, "I’m moving out today."

Robert’s hand paused above her head, then remained still.

He lowered his eyes, his deep gaze quietly fixed on her.

"I want to move out," Charlotte said.

Robert looked at the girl’s small face in front of him, wrinkled up like she had suffered so grievance from him.

He couldn’t help but find it amusing—who was really the one wronged here?

He asked, "Why do you want to move out?"

"To make room for you and Wynne."

"Jealous?"

"No."

"..." Robert rested an arm on the car window, leisurely watching her, clearly not believing her words. But as a man three years her senior, he felt it was his duty to tolerate this little tantrum of his woman.

So he said, "Then after you finish eating, I’ll ask Nicholas Woods to co and take you to the place you chose. Did you pick out the house?"

Charlotte was stunned for a mont and hastily said, "No need, I can do it myself..."

Robert glanced at his watch and said to her, "I have to go to a eting. If you need anything, call ."

Without giving Charlotte a chance to finish her sentence, he rolled up the window and drove away.

Charlotte stood there blankly for a while, waiting until Robert’s black Lincoln disappeared from sight before she realized that sothing seed off.

Robert seed to think that...

She was jealous of him and Wynne, which was why she was fussing about leaving ho?

When did she feel jealous?

Charlotte glanced at the pink diamond ring on her ring finger, the one she helped Robert pick out a few days ago, in the color and style she liked.

She rembered that when they were there, she accidentally caught sight of it, and then Robert asked the saleslady to take it out.

At the ti, she thought she and Robert had similar tastes.

So, he bought it because he saw that she liked it?

After breakfast, Nicholas actually ca.

He was Robert’s assistant, and having him act as her driver seed a bit overqualified.

Charlotte said, "Nicholas, I can go by myself, you don’t need to specially drop off."

Nicholas smiled gently and said, "Mr. Stephens is worried you might be deceived living outside, so he told to co and look at your rental contract."

"...Do you still need to take photos for him?"

Nicholas smiled broadly, "I’ll be recording a video for Mr. Stephens."

Charlotte: "..."

Seeing her really moving out of the Stephens family, the maid who had always taken care of her felt very reluctant.

"Miss Smith, rember to co ho often."

"Take with you, I can cook for you!"

Soone even volunteered.

"Do you have enough clothes? It seems to be getting colder these days!"

...

Making it seem like she was just going out on a field trip.

Charlotte always felt that her plan to move out this ti was sohow failing.

They seed to treat her like a child, even Robert hadn’t really taken her words seriously.

Nicholas drove to the place she had rented, and indeed took out his phone to film a video, sending it to Robert.

Charlotte couldn’t stop him in ti and was a bit upset, "Hey!"

What about her privacy?

After taking the photos, Nicholas contentedly put away his phone and said kindly to her, "It’s just to keep Mr. Stephens from worrying."
