The man walked over and sat in front of her.
He didn’t say a word, but the air was gradually filled with the aura emanating from him.
It was an intensely invasive feeling, a presence developed over the years from Robert Stephens holding a high position. Charlotte, eating alone for a while, found herself a bit overwheld.
She put down her chopsticks and stood up as if to leave.
"Where to?"
The man’s calm voice sounded from behind her.
This was the first ti in days that Robert had called out to her during their silent feud, and she was genuinely a bit flattered.
Charlotte turned her head, looked at Robert, and gently said, "I have to go to work."
Her voice was soft, wearing a waist-cinched long-sleeved dress in a simple color, her waist slender and tender, her whole deanor clean and innocent.
Robert lightly tapped the marble tabletop with his fingertips and said blandly, "I need to buy sothing later. You accompany ."
Charlotte froze for a mont and couldn’t help saying, "But I..."
"Take a leave."
Robert directly cut her off.
After speaking, he ignored her stunned expression, coldly withdrew his gaze, and continued his breakfast.
Although she felt dissatisfied, after all, this was Robert’s order. Even if Charlotte had ten tis the courage, she dared not disobey.

She sighed.

He walked beside her and said, "Let’s go."
Without stopping to wait for her, he slipped one hand into his trouser pocket and proceeded outside.
"..." Charlotte watched Robert’s departing figure, not yet standing up, when the household servants urged her, "Hurry, Miss Smith."
She looked up to see a roomful of servants encouraging her.
Even the old butler was getting involved.
She was sowhat speechless, could these people possibly think she was going on a date with Robert today?
Inside the car, Robert sat in the rear seat, and Charlotte didn’t dare sit next to him. She opened the front passenger door and got in.
It was Nicholas driving. Seeing her climb in and sit beside him, an indescribable expression appeared on his straightforward face.
"Ahem." He lightly coughed, "Miss Smith, do you want to sit here?"
Charlotte was securing her seatbelt with her head down and didn’t catch Nicholas’s insinuating expression. She curiously asked, "Where are we going now?"
"To the shopping center," Nicholas said, "It’s Janet Madison’s birthday in a few days, we need to pick out a birthday gift for her."
Charlotte was slightly taken aback by his words, her eyes widened as she looked at Nicholas.
Nicholas slowly said, "Miss Madison has a very good relationship with Mr. Stephens."
He spoke with significant aning.
Charlotte secretly glanced at Robert through the rear-view mirror.
As she spoke with Nicholas, the man was propping up his face, his eyes and brows lowered, seemingly completely uninterested in their conversation, rely resting.
