After more than half an hour, a black modified motorcycle stopped at Daisy Ginger’s door.
The man in the jacket removed his helt and lifted Erin Ginger off the seat.
"Ethan."
Daisy heard the voice, walked out from the door, and smiled as she greeted the man holding Erin’s hand.
"Mommy!"
Seeing her, Erin broke free from Ethan’s hand and ran into Daisy’s arms.
Daisy affectionately kissed his little face and asked with a smile, "Did you miss Mommy?"
Erin said nothing, just hugged her and kissed her face several tis.
As the mother and son cuddled, Ethan stood aside silently, until a tall figure appeared at the door, and he finally lifted his head to look at the man opposite.
One was elegant and composed, the other had a stoic and stern expression.
When their eyes t, there was a hint of stormy undercurrent in both n’s gazes.
"Daddy, why are you here?"
When Erin looked up, he saw Edward Stephens and was clearly a bit surprised, but more than anything, he was happy.
Daisy let go of him and ruffled his little head, "Go ahead."
He chatted with Zoe on the tablet every day when he wasn’t here, so why be aloof in person.
Erin glanced at Daisy’s expression, saw her gentle look, felt at ease, looked at Edward, and joy was obviously written on his cool little face as he rushed to Edward’s side, grabbed the hem of the man’s clothes, and tiptoed to ask, "Daddy, are you going to leave again?"
Edward smiled at him, looked up at Daisy, and then casually said, "That depends on whether your mom is willing to give face."
Daisy didn’t expect him to push the problem onto her, glared at him speechlessly, warning him not to speak nonsense, before turning her gaze to Ethan.
The man stood quietly in front of her, tall and slender, just like the silent and quiet boy she rembered.
"Ethan," Daisy smiled and said to him, "Thank you for bringing Erin over. We’ll have lunch soon, why not stay and eat with us before you leave?"
Ethan lowered his eyes, quietly looked at her, and did not refuse, only lightly said, "Okay."
The bar and club business was at night, and they had hired people to manage the bar, so there was no need to supervise it personally every day.
Seeing him agree, Daisy smiled imdiately, "Then I’ll call Zoe too."
Of course, if they’re eating together, they’ll naturally invite Zoe Hilker.
Zoe was still taking a nap, but as soon as she heard there was food with Daisy, she imdiately agreed, "Alright, alright, I’ll bring so groceries over when I co. What do you want, Daisy?"

Ethan calmly withdrew his gaze, "I’ll go to the kitchen and see what’s in the fridge."
Edward said, "I’ll go too."
Ethan looked at him coldly, "What are you going to do there? Can you cook?"
Edward scoffed lightly, "Is cooking such a big deal?"
"..." Erin stood between the two, looked at Ethan, then at Edward, feeling like the two of them were about to argue.
He ran outside to bring reinforcents, pulling Daisy’s hand, "Mom."
Daisy was brought to the hall by him and sensed that sothing was off in the air, a bit confused, frowning, "What are you two standing in the middle for?"
"Nothing." Edward reacted quickly, turned his head, and warmly smiled at her, "Ethan and I are going to the kitchen to wash so vegetables, you keep Erin company for a while."
"Wash what vegetables? There’s nothing in the fridge, can’t you just sit quietly?" Daisy frowned at him, annoyed, not liking to see him work, "Ethan, Zoe’s at the nearby supermarket, can you drive to pick her up?"
"Yeah."
Ethan replied softly, turned, and left.
Edward watched his departing figure, inexplicably annoyed, and snorted softly.
He said to Daisy, "He’s hostile towards ."
Daisy rolled her eyes at him, "What did you expect? Considering the ss you’ve made, letting you stay is already giving you face. Did you think everyone is as magnanimous as ?"
Edward almost choked from her words.
"Do you have to side with others like this?"
"Go. This house was bought by Ethan, letting you stay here is good enough, yet you’re picky about his attitude."
"It’s not like I have to stay here."
"Do you have money?"
Edward was taken aback.
Despite that, the man still whispered bad things about Ethan.
"He glared at when he ca in just now."
"He deliberately provoked ."

Like a little schoolboy tattling.
Daisy responded coldly, "Serves you right."

About ten minutes later, Ethan drove back with Zoe Hilker.
Knowing Daisy was back, Zoe bought a whole bunch of groceries, stuffing the fridge to capacity.
When she saw Edward, her attitude was very friendly, waving her hand in greeting, "Hello, Mr. Stephens, long ti no see."
In fact, Edward wasn’t very familiar with her, so he just nodded lightly, watching as Zoe ran to whisper with Daisy.
The two won’s conversation drifted over faintly.
"Michael has been looking for you these days..."
"Looking for ... why?"
"He..." Seemingly realizing he was eavesdropping, Zoe glanced at him and then whispered even quieter to Daisy.
Edward strained to hear but couldn’t catch a word she was saying.
He knew about Michael Joyner.
After all, Erin had reported to him, full of worry and fear in his words.
He’s younger than Daisy, a high-achiever, and not bad-looking; most importantly, he treats Daisy well.
In short, he is well-received by Zoe and the others.
Erin was worried Daisy would find a step-dad for him, extrely anxious, and Edward was a bit dumbfounded that Daisy found a young boyfriend so quickly.
Though Daisy had already dumped him, and he wasn’t in a position to interfere in whom she dated.
However, he still felt like he was being cuckolded...
At this mont, when the man’s na was ntioned again, a wave of jealousy instantly rose in Edward’s throat.
Over there, Zoe finished whispering and glanced at Edward, who was standing nearby with a gloomy face, coughed lightly, and said to Daisy, "Daisy, I’ll go to the kitchen to help Ethan with the vegetables!"
Daisy lazily sat back up from the sofa but was pressed back down by the man.
"What are you doing?" Seeing his dark face, Daisy pinched his face, a bit perplexed.
"Is that kid Michael Joyner still looking for you?"
"You’re eavesdropping on my conversation with Zoe, Edward?" Daisy was speechless. She had never seen soone so bold in admissions.
Edward pinched her, "Give a proper explanation!"
