The man’s brow furrowed slightly, as if unable to comprehend her, simply looking at her in silence.

Daisy Ginger finished saying everything she had bottled up for three months in one breath, and those emotions seed to have found an outlet, her involuntary trembling gradually subsided.

She lowered her eyes, her voice serene and soft, "I’ve said everything I need to say. Do you have anything you want to ask?"

Edward Stephens leaned against the headboard and asked, "Does saying all this to soone with amnesia have any aning?"

Daisy said indifferently, "I said it because I wanted to; the aning of it only matters to ."

The man seed speechless from her words, furrowing his brow, saying nothing, just staring at her.

Daisy’s tense muscles gradually relaxed, and seeing him so lively now, her heart, which had been on edge for three months, also cald down.

Honestly, today should have been her most peaceful day in three months.

She lowered her eyes, watching the man for a while, and just as Edward thought she would leave, Daisy suddenly brought up another topic.

"That female therapist of yours is quite beautiful."

The man’s eyes flashed, clearly on guard.

Daisy smiled at him, her smile bright and cheerful.

"In these three months, you haven’t developed any feelings for her, right?"

Edward stared at her face with an ambiguous smile; this woman seed to be smiling happily, but unfortunately, there was no hint of laughter in her eyes.

"Don’t you think you’re ddling too much for an ex-wife?" he finally couldn’t help but say.

"Am I?" Daisy smiled faintly, looking quite nonchalant, "I just fear you’ll do sothing you’ll regret for the rest of your life and am giving you an early warning."

"..." A warning? More like a threat.

Daisy quietly looked at him for a mont, finally shifting her gaze away, "Auntie said you have rehab later, so I won’t disturb you. I just ca over from Banyan City and haven’t adjusted to the ti difference. I’ll co back and see you tomorrow once I’m rested."

Edward Stephens: "You don’t have to co."

Daisy softly said, "If you don’t change your habit of saying nasty things, I’ll give you a hard ti."

Edward Stephens: "......"

After Daisy finished speaking, she seed genuinely a bit tired, raised her hand and gently pinched her brow. Just as Edward thought she was about to turn and leave, she reached out and hugged him tightly.

He was stunned for a mont, just about to push her away when she already let go and took a step back.

"I’m leaving."

"..." He frowned, seeming unsure of how to handle her, looking a bit troubled.

Daisy looked at him, finding his current appearance a bit silly.

But he wasn’t as annoying as he used to be.

"Don’t go flirting with others outside," Daisy tidied her wool coat leisurely and said to him, "If you don’t mind, you can change to a male therapist, I’ll discuss it with Auntie."

Edward Stephens coldly replied, "No change."

"..." Daisy paused slightly in her movents, turned her head, looked at him aningfully, then snorted a laugh and said nothing more before leaving.

Soon, the soft conversation between Lady Stephens and Daisy could be heard outside.

The sound of footsteps and talking gradually faded away, and with a creak, the ajar door was opened again.

A head peeked in.

Edward Stephens opened his eyes.

Coco stuck out her tongue at him, "Your ex-wife is so fierce."
