A torrent of highly corrosive acid mist spewed from Hagoromo Gengetsu's mouth, enveloping his surroundings and spreading outwards like a Mist Jutsu.
In an instant, the area before Senju Hashirama was cloaked in white mist.
Acid mist, capable of dissolving even Susanoo, rapidly eroded the tree vines around Gengetsu.
Aware of the high damage potential of Boil Release, Hashirama did not charge headlong but instead summoned more trees to surge towards the mist.
Seizing the mont, Gengetsu, now shrouded in darkness, ford hand seals, and a large amount of chakra surged through his body.

The mist dragon smashed through three Rashomon gates before losing montum and dissipating.
But that was not the end.
A figure darted past the dissipating mist dragon, glowing brightly like lightning, and appeared in front of Hashirama with incredible speed.

The piercing Chidori erupted again, aid directly at Hashirama's heart.
The speed of the Chidori was so swift that only eyes with the Sharingan could typically keep up.
Yet, this limitation was only relevant for those with ordinary physiques like Hatake Kakashi.
For individuals like the Fourth Raikage, who moved as fast as the golden lightning, such speed was achievable without Sharingan, and no one had ever claid he missed.
Gengetsu was no different.
The sharp, crackling sound of Chidori echoed in his ears.
Everything happened so fast that Hashirama could not dodge. His body sank, and tree stumps grew from within him, colliding with the Chidori.
Gengetsu felt as though he was hitting layer after layer of impenetrable hide.
Amidst the flying wood chips, his progress beca increasingly difficult.
Moreover, the wood release restrained his chakra, causing the Chidori's lightning to dim.
If not for his Yin Release's ability to absorb so of the wood release chakra and partially counteract its suppression, he might have been at a severe disadvantage.
However, he wasn’t about to stubbornly continue in this state.
Gengetsu did not force his way through. Instead, he transford his right-hand Chidori into a Chidori spear, cutting through the massive tree stumps. While retreating, he swiftly placed a large number of explosive tags on the remaining tree stumps in Hashirama’s line of sight.
As Hashirama instinctively retracted the tree stumps from his body to pursue Gengetsu,
Sizzle!
The explosive tags ignited.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A series of violent explosions erupted from Hashirama's location, filling the area with massive fireballs and thick black smoke.
To an ordinary person, this would be a fatal blow.
But this was Senju Hashirama.
Gengetsu did not hesitate. He ford hand seals again and declared:
"Scorch Release: Overheated Steam Killing Jutsu!"
Fireballs, composed of wind and fire chakra, appeared behind him. He pointed, sending these scorching flas, capable of evaporating an enemy's internal moisture, speeding towards Hashirama.
Even Sage Mode users would turn to dry corpses upon encountering this Scorch Release.
The future Sand Ninja hero, Yagura, had gained his fa through such a terrifying bloodline ability, making the Fourth Kazekage wary enough to even sell him to the enemy.

The Scorch Release fireballs reached the thick smoke.

In Hashirama’s booming voice, Gengetsu saw a fearso, spiked wood dragon coiled around him.
The dragon's massive body bore so scorch marks from the earlier Scorch Release.
Even the most potent ninjutsu could barely make a ripple against the wood dragon that absorbed all chakra, fading into nothingness.
Noting Gengetsu’s gaze, the imposing wood dragon’s large eyes glead, and its elongated body rose, towering over Gengetsu, letting out a deafening roar.
Hashirama stood atop the wood dragon’s head.
He was visibly unscathed, and his once-damaged red armor was now rapidly healing.
Before long, he appeared entirely unhard.
"Truly impressive, Hagoromo Gengetsu! I will now go all out."
Hashirama looked seriously at Gengetsu below.
If anyone else said this, it might seem like empty words.
When Hashirama said it, it was as sincere as could be.
Especially for the non-Konoha ninjas watching, it felt overwhelmingly powerless.
While others would have been left in tatters or even dead after Gengetsu's series of attacks, Hashirama was rely warming up.
