Planetary... movent?

Andy: "..."

Looking at the old man in front of him, who looked indignant, Andy first felt a little speechless, and then he frowned in disbelief.

Are you taking for a fool?

Andy asked himself. He has so strength. Since the Departnt of Mysteries anticipated his arrival, they would not let a researcher-type Unspeakable who studies planetary and star movent et him.

Aren't they worried that I will cause trouble?

At the very least, since Andy focuses on the direction of the mind and the Unspeakable has voluntarily turned up, they should at least send soone with the relevant expertise to et Andy, right?

Planetary movents?

Are you kidding ?

After a mont of silence, Andy asked, "What's next?"

Andy thought that since the Unspeakable had turned up, they must have made so arrangents.

For example, a tour through the Departnt of Mysteries.

Or perhaps so tips to improve his skills.

If that was the case, Andy planned to first see what the other party had planned and then react accordingly, with the aim to ultimately find sothing he needed.

"Go back!" the old man said.

Andy: "..."

"What do you an?" Andy didn't sound happy.

"Do you know why we are called the Unspeakable?"

The old man sighed, "Unless you join us, you will never learn the real secrets of the Departnt of Mysteries."

Andy beca silent on hearing this.

It certainly seed impossible to pry the secrets from the Unspeakable.

It wasn't a matter of their willingness to share.

Rather, there must be so kind of magic at work!

Magic that prevented them from revealing the secrets of this place.

"Will you die?" Andy asked.

The old man's face turned dark.

"Ahem!"

Andy coughed lightly, touched his nose apologetically, and continued, "Can I explore this place?"

"You have explored it many tis," the old man said.

"I have beco stronger." This was the main factor that made Andy revisit the Departnt of Mysteries.

Having rged his mind with his soul, Andy felt a little more confident.

"Then go ahead and try." The old man stepped aside, indicating that Andy could start.

Seeing this, Andy did not act rashly.

This old man...seed to know what he intended to do.

"You know..."

Andy said quietly, "If a person doesn't interact with the outside world for a long ti, their social skills will gradually deteriorate."

"The obvious sign of this is that they will inadvertently let their innermost thoughts slip."

The old man understood what Andy ant, but he wasn't bothered by it. "I saw what you did in the prophecy orb."

"So, does that an you're interfering with the future?" Andy asked.

"The future is sothing that is destined to happen."

The old man explained, "No matter what I do, those things will happen."

"Why?" Andy asked curiously.

Predicting the future...

Even if Andy himself had the ability to predict the future, it would be difficult for him to wrap his mind around such a thing.

Was the future a fixed script?

"Collins, do you know anything about the stars?" The old man unexpectedly asked Andy an unrelated question.

"Well... I know a little," Andy said.

"The starry sky we see now is the sky from so hundreds or thousands of years ago. So distant stars we see are actually what they looked like billions of years ago. It is unknown if they still exist now."

The old man's tone was calm, but his eyes shone with a gleam of madness. "Proxima Centauri is about 4.3 light-years away from Earth. If you stand there and look at Earth, you can see a version of yourself from 4.3 years ago."

Andy: "..."

This is physics, right?

What does it have to do with magic?

"You can only see the past," Andy said, frowning slightly, not quite understanding what the old man ant.

"Magic allows you to see the future," the old man said.

"So, the future is fixed?"

Andy asked, puzzled. "Or is... a certain point in the future fixed?"

"..."

The old man was silent for a mont, then sighed quietly, "This is the part that needs to be kept secret."

Andy: "..."

I hate people who only say half of the content.

"Well... we can continue talking about the stars."

Andy suddenly asked, "What were you going to say just now?"

The old man said, "..."

His train of thought had been interrupted.

"Never mind!"

The old man sighed and then looked at Andy with a twinkle in his eye, "Collins, I don't harbour any ill will. I've heard things about you; that's why I've co out to et you."

"How far can your soul travel from your body?"

"I an, can your soul leave the Earth?"

Andy: "!!"

This...

Andy took a deep breath.

At this mont, Andy truly believed that he was the Unspeakable who studies the planetary movents.

"You an Astral projection?"

Andy beca interested. "I haven't tried it. But... since the soul doesn't need to breathe, it may be able to move in space."

The old man also looked excited. "You can try it and let your soul leave the earth. Collins, maybe you can glimpse the earth hundreds or even millions of years ago."

"This doesn't seem to have anything to do with magic," Andy suddenly said.

"History has buried many secrets," the old man said.

Andy looked at the old man thoughtfully.

"Let think about it," Andy said.

Although he said that, Andy found himself thinking about the conversation he just had with the old man.

The old man said that he saw Andy in the prophecy orb and that the future was sothing that was destined to happen.

But when Andy asked, he changed the subject to the stars.

It was abrupt.

But it was in line with the identity of an Unspeakable.

He might really be here because of Andy's Soul.

"Hmm..."

If he could project his Soul 10,000 light years away, could he see the Earth as it was 10,000 years ago?

With magic, perhaps he could!

In that case, he could glimpse the history of the magical world.

Andy squinted as he sized up the old man in front of him – was he just being curious, or was he trying to lead him on?

"Hoo–"

Exhaling lightly, Andy broke the silence and said, "I don't want to manifest my Soul here…"

"In that case, the future you see cannot happen."

The old man was taken aback, but then he chuckled, "Perhaps... this is the future I saw."

Andy laughed too, "Maybe it is!"

In any case, Andy had no intention of manifesting his Soul here.

This old guy is very mysterious.

Or perhaps the Departnt of Mysteries itself is very mysterious.

Andy would ponder over everything he had seen and heard tonight when he got back.

Until then, Andy would proceed with caution.

"I want to go to the Brain Room," Andy suddenly said.

"Of course you can."

The old man seed very supportive. "I can't stop you. Besides... you've been there many tis already."

"No more space talk?" Andy asked.

"It's over."

He said with a tone of disappointnt, "You don't seem to be very interested."

"Well, I'm not that interested either, but this is my job; I have to study them."

Andy: "..."

No more pretending?
