"Of course you can, Mr Collins!" Professor Slughorn's eyes crinkled up with a smile, and the corners of his mouth couldn't be pulled down as if they were hooked up by big helium balloons.

Professor Slughorn, despite being a professor, ignored diocre students and sotis couldn't even rember their nas.

However, he could always spot students with outstanding talent and invite them to join his clique, giving them special treatnt.

With his discerning eye, he has discovered many talented students, and many of them have grown up to beco high-level figures in various fields, which given him a very deep network of contacts.

After being rehired at Hogwarts, Professor Slughorn re-ford the 'Slug Club' and invited so students with excellent backgrounds, talents and reputations to join.

Among all the students, Andy was undoubtedly the most difficult to persuade, and the one Slughorn wanted to 'teach' the most.

Because Andy was so special.

Slughorn even thought that Andy might surpass Dumbledore and Voldemort and beco the greatest wizard of all ti.

After learning about Andy's exploits, he was even more convinced of this.

He simply adored Andy.

It's just that...

Just as Slughorn ignored diocre students, so too did Andy ignore diocre professors.

With Snape, the master of potions, in front of him, there was no need for him to bother Slughorn, right?

If it weren't for Dumbledore's task, Andy wouldn't even care to rember his na.

But now...

Andy felt compelled to admit that he had let his arrogance get the better of him.

You could accuse Slughorn of being vain or cowardly, but you could never accuse him of being incompetent.

"Professor, what is the relationship between the two extre emotions of love and hate to death?" Andy imdiately asked his question.

According to Slughorn, death can inspire two extre emotions – love and hate.

Lily Potter sacrificed herself and used love to cast a powerful protective charm on Harry.

Voldemort killed others, splitting his soul with extre negative emotions.

This is the ultimate manifestation of white and dark magic.

And the way they chose was death!

"Hmm..."

Slughorn pondered for a mont, then explained, "From a magical perspective, they have nothing to do with death."

"Killing is not necessary to create that thing. Killing is just the simplest and quickest way."

"If your mind is strong enough, you can even ignore the incantation and just go straight to that step."

Andy nodded slightly.

He agreed with the latter part of the sentence.

As for the forr...

Slughorn either didn't understand what Andy ant, or perhaps he knew nothing about it, or maybe he was intentionally being evasive.

In any case, he didn't ntion the dinsion of death.

He just said: From a magical perspective.

Hm, that's kind of intriguing.

There are lot of people here today, so Andy plans to find an opportunity to have a good chat with him in private.

After thinking for a mont, Andy continued, "Professor, I'm in a bit of a special situation right now. Well...it's not just my 'Soul' that's special."

Seeing that everyone is looking at him with curious eyes, Andy shrugged and continued, "You know, I've been studying mind power, and I even published a paper on the subject."

"I ntioned the Obscurus."

"Yes, I have beco an Obscurial!"

"But I am not the kind of Obscurial you think I am. For the ti being, there is no danger in ."

"This is the fusion of mind and magic!"

After a pause, Andy added, "This ti, I have fused soul and mind."

"The result is the True Soul!"

Hearing this, everyone's faces revealed a look of disbelief. They already knew what Andy had wanted to do.

Mind, magic and soul all rged into one!

If it had been a day earlier, they would have solemnly told Andy that he was delusional!

But now, Andy had succeeded!

"Collins..." Professor McGonagall sucked in a cold breath.

She had never seen anyone crazier than Andy!

Slughorn's eyes sparkled even more.

At that mont, he beca 100% certain that Andy would surpass everyone and beco the greatest wizard of all ti.

No! Not to ntion the future; even in the present, Andy's achievents in magic already set him apart from everyone else.

For thousands of years, many wizards have been exploring the path ahead.

Slughorn didn't know if anyone had succeeded, but among those he knew, no one had ever been able to pull it off.

Even Dumbledore and Voldemort, in Slughorn's opinion, were just following in the footsteps of those who ca before them.

They might be strong, but their thods did not represent the way forward for magic!

So Slughorn gave up a long ti ago.

Then, he began to live in the mont.

A choice that many in the wizarding world have made.

Until he t Andy. Today, Slughorn is finally certain that Andy has found the way forward for magic.

Andy Collins, who has pushed the upper limits of a wizard!

He doesn't know if there are any hidden dangers in Andy's thods.

But for the mont, Andy has succeeded!

"In theory, it truly works!"

Slughorn said in a serious tone, "Both the Obscurus and the Ghost are the result of extre ntal force transforming them against their will."

"Well, Mr Collins, there are no signs of out-of-control situations, correct?"

Andy nodded, "Yes."

Slughorn thought for a mont, "Perhaps your willpower is too strong, or perhaps there really is no danger…"

At this point, Slughorn couldn't quite continue.

Either way, it was a bit beyond the norm!

Is this science? Is this magic?

Is this sothing a normal human being can do?

"Professor, can the body be fused with the mind?" Andy asked.

That was the question Andy had been dying to ask.

Mind, body and soul!

Now, Andy had both his magic and his soul integrated into his mind.

The next step is naturally the body.

But Andy had no idea how to proceed!

Everyone: "..."

What kind of crazy idea is this?

The body is material, while the mind is intangible. How can the body be rged with the mind?

Is he crazy?

Hermione was really worried that Andy would get himself killed!

"Andy, how did you even think of that?" Sirius asked, also looking incredulous.

He admitted that Andy was amazing!

But the body rging with the mind… What was the difference between that and daydreaming?

"Hmm…"

Slughorn thought for a while and said, "The body of an Obscurus can turn into invisible wind, and theoretically, the body of a wizard can be imbued with magic."

"But..."

"Collins, I know what you an by fusion. I think you could start with magic transfiguration."

Hermione: "..."

Andy raised an eyebrow at Hermione.

Isn't this a coincidence?
