The death dinsion needs the mind, not the soul!
Andy had realised this a year earlier – when a person dies, their soul goes to the death dinsion, taking sothing with it.
The locked room in the Departnt of Mysteries is there to protect the power of the human mind from being taken.
That's why the room needs to be locked!
And as for Dumbledore's words: For those with clear minds, death is just another great adventure.
Andy understood that now!
Dentors feed on happiness, but at the sa ti, the Patronus Charm, which is ford from happy emotions, is also their nesis.
The sa is true of the death dinsion!
The death dinsion needs positive human emotions, but when a person's positive emotions beco strong to a certain extent, it will also make the death dinsion incapable of doing anything!
Think of Dumbledore's Patronus!
A phoenix!
That is the only magical creature Patronus in the wizarding world!
This shows that Dumbledore's ntal strength has also undergone a transformation.
Well... perhaps so kind of sublimation.
No one knows what kind of abilities the phoenix patronus has.
But it can definitely protect Dumbledore!
Originally, all of this was just Andy's personal speculation.
But the existence of the dentors has proven this!
Dentors are related to the death dinsion. They feed on human happy emotions and are not very interested in souls.
Snape's face remained calm.
He had realised sothing similar that day, after witnessing the Dentor's Kiss.
Animals and people alike would fight for anything that was of benefit to them.
But Dentors... they didn't fight for souls!
They only needed happy emotions.
The so-called Dentor's Kiss was probably just one of the Dentor's magical abilities.
That was all.
They didn't feed on it.
By now, a lot of things had beco clear, and so of Andy's guesses had been gradually confird.
The mind – it's important!
Whether it's for humans or the Death Dinsion, the mind is important.
After a mont of silence, Snape slowly asked, "Collins, are you still going to continue investigating?"
He was feeling a bit heavy-hearted!
In fact, after learning about these things, no one could remain optimistic.
Think about it!
The death dinsion shrouds the real world, absorbing human souls and taking their minds with it to that dinsion.
Who is controlling the death dinsion?
What do 'He' or 'They' want?
What is a human being? A creature raised in captivity?
Where do souls co from?
What is the use of the mind?
So things are really terrifying when you think about them!
After a pause, Snape continued, "Collins, if things are really as we suspect..."
At this point, Snape did not continue.
What was the suspicion?
Perhaps, a long, long ti ago, a group of higher-dinsional beings discovered the Earth and discovered humans.
They set foot on this planet.
At the sa ti, they also brought magic to the Earth.
Wizards and magical creatures thus evolved.
At first, these higher-dinsional beings were worshipped as gods by humans because they brought them power.
And of course, they were pleased with that.
Humans were weak and of no value to them.
But then they discovered sothing interesting.
The ntal power of humans had an effect on them.
Well, perhaps it was just pure food.
So they created the death dinsion and used it to collect human souls. And then they used the human souls to bring the ntal power to the death dinsion.
In this way, they could enjoy the delicacy called 'mind'.
Humans may have lost sothing.
So soone noticed it all.
They banded together and tried to overthrow their rule!
Their arrival gave the earth magic.
And with magic cos spells.
Wizards may be weak, even insignificant, but they are not without the power to resist.
A boss with a blood bar can be defeated by a human wave tactic.
In the confrontation between humans and higher-dinsional beings, so even stole their powers – for example, the Trelawney family's innate ability to see the future.
The outco of that battle is unknown.
But the 'gods' disappeared, leaving behind only the death dinsion.
When a person dies, their soul will go to that world!
So a wizard organisation was founded.
Together they guard all the entrances to the death dinsion.
They also built a locked room to contain the power of the human mind – human love!
Of course, all of this is just speculation.
But after learning all this, you can't help but have such speculations.
That's what Andy thought.
That's what Snape thought.
And maybe... that's what Dumbledore thought, as well.
He kept the matter of the death dinsion secret, never discussing it with anyone, and even tried to conceal the truth about the Dentor's Kiss.
If it wasn't a matter of grave importance, he would have been perfectly happy to talk about it.
"What about you?"
Andy asked curiously, looking at Snape. "Professor, do you want to continue investigating?"
There was a mont of silence in the room.
Snape was certainly curious about the truth of the world.
Anyone would be curious!
But Snape was very clear-headed.
He knew his limitations. Even if he knew everything, he could do nothing.
Knowing would only bring trouble and depression.
In simpler words, he would be worrying about nothing.
But...
Snape also looked at Andy and asked in return, "What about you?"
"Of course, I want to!" Andy said.
Snape considered for a mont, then spoke slowly.
His speech was very slow. "I will help you! But… Collins… if you want to use the power of the death dinsion to do sothing... I will try to stop you!"
Snape knew that he might not be able to do anything.
But the person in front of him, Andy Collins, might be able to do sothing.
Andy laughed at this, but with a look of helplessness on his face, he spread his hands and said, "Professor, I'm not crazy, so how could I do sothing so terrible?"
"But there is one thing I must clarify in advance."
"I have already acquired the power of the death dinsion, using magical transfiguration. …So, that doesn't count!"
Snape: "..."
Is it too late for him to change his mind now?
He can't help but have a nagging feeling that this boy Andy won't be too well-behaved!
Of course, even if he changed his mind, it wouldn't actually make a difference.
Even without Snape, Andy would continue with his investigation.
"After knowing the truth, what will you do?" Snape asked curiously.
"Hmm…" Andy pondered for a mont.
He hadn't thought about this question yet.
Magic is what Andy pursued.
As for the truth of the world…On the one hand, it was out of curiosity, and on the other hand, it was to aid in his study of magic.
After thinking about it, Andy said, "Maybe I'll do sothing with the power of the death dinsion!"
Snape: "..."
