Andy's eyebrows raised slightly, realising there was sothing unusual at play.
This Scrimgeour guy...what's his deal?
Andy glanced at Scrimgeour, and his thoughts began to churn. This guy's intentions are probably not simple.
To be honest, Scrimgeour is the Head of the Auror Office at the Ministry of Magic, which is a pretty high-ranking position. But for Andy, he's not worth much.
When he was weak, Andy still needed to deal with interpersonal relationships. But now that he had beco powerful, interpersonal relationships ant nothing to Andy.
Because Andy didn't care about that.
Andy longed for a peaceful lifestyle like that of Nicolas Flal. Even if he wanted to enjoy life, the entertainnt in the Muggle world is much richer and more varied than those in the wizarding world.
What's so appealing about the wizarding world, other than magic, travelling and adventure?
Nothing!
Besides, if Andy gained immortality, living in a community would not suit him.
That was why Andy originally didn't want to pay any attention to Scrimgeour.
But now it was different.
Andy asked with interest, "Mr Scrimgeour, thank you very much for your offer. But...what do you want?"
Scrimgeour gave a subtle smile. "Mr Collins, you are no ordinary young wizard."
Andy smiled and said nothing more.
The two of them talked a lot of nonsense, but neither of them revealed their true intentions. Andy wasn't in a hurry because Scrimgeour held no value for him.
Andy wanted to gain access to the Departnt of Mysteries, find the Departnt's archive, and discover its hidden secrets.
Would Scrimgeour help Andy?
No way!
If Scrimgeour knew Andy's intentions, his first reaction would be to send Andy to Azkaban.
As for research in magic, Scrimgeour is even more useless.
After a mont of silence, Scrimgeour spoke first, asking, "Mr Collins, you just said... I can't help you?"
"I'm curious. What you want to do shouldn't violate the laws of the Ministry of Magic, right?"
Andy gave a light laugh in response.
"You are truly an established Auror."
Andy said with a hint of aning before continuing, "For a wizard of my level, there is only one thing in this world that can make my heart race..."
Scrimgeour instantly beca attentive.
His purpose in coming to see Andy was naturally to pry out Dumbledore's secrets. Apart from that, he also wanted to test Andy.
Because neither of the two could be trusted.
Given Andy and Dumbledore's strength, if either of them really did have a conspiracy in mind, the damage they could cause would definitely far exceed that of Voldemort.
This forced Scrimgeour to be cautious.
Andy paused but kept his eyes on Scrimgeour.
Facing a veteran Auror like Scrimgeour, Legilincy would no longer provide the desired result – he would not let others look into his inner thoughts.
He would not even show superfluous expressions.
But one thing would not lie.
For example... the eyes!
Andy knew full well that if Scrimgeour had found the ti to see him in the middle of the Ministry's busy schedule, his purpose could not be simple.
It was either for Voldemort or for himself.
Now that Voldemort was dead...
Scrimgeour's purpose was obvious!
Andy smiled and continued, "You know, there is a limit to the abilities of a wizard... or rather, the limit of a human is the limit of a wizard."
"For example, strength and speed...these are so things that you can't exceed no matter how hard you try."
"But we're lucky because we have magic."
"Magic can change everything!"
Scrimgeour's eyes narrowed slightly. "You want to surpass the limits of a wizard? No! You've already... your current strength should have already surpassed the limits of a wizard, right?"
Scrimgeour had a deep understanding of this 'limits of a wizard' thing.
He considered his abilities to be top-notch, but when he faced Voldemort, he felt utterly powerless—the powerful magic that far surpassed that of an ordinary wizard terrified him.
So...
Are people like Andy, Voldemort, and Dumbledore considered wizards who have overco their limits?
Scrimgeour's thoughts were in turmoil.
"That's not wrong."
Andy chuckled lightly, "That's a completely new world! I need to find a path to a higher level in the fog of the unknown."
"So... unfortunately, Mr Scrimgeour, it seems you cannot help ."
I see!
Scrimgeour finally understood.
If Dumbledore's goal was the sa as Andy's, to find a path to a higher level, then... Voldemort was most likely just Dumbledore's experint!
Experinting in what?
Dark magic!
Scrimgeour thought, 'Dark magic can be bewitching. If Dumbledore intentionally guided Voldemort down the path of dark magic, then this would all make sense.'
'But…'
'What about Dumbledore's relationship with Grindelwald?'
'Was he also an experint?'
Scrimgeour brainstord for a while, and although he ca up with many wild theories, none of them made sense.
Andy watched Scrimgeour quietly.
No matter what this guy's intentions were, Andy didn't want to fall out with the Ministry for the ti being.
That would affect Andy's study of magic.
However...if Scrimgeour was determined to do sothing against him, then Andy could only get rid of him.
"Indeed! I cannot help you in this regard."
Scrimgeour asked, "But I am curious, will Dumbledore help you?"
After saying this, Scrimgeour's eyes stared at Andy intently.
Andy smiled at this.
Dumbledore?
This Scrimgeour guy, could it be that he has been swayed by those rumours and is suspicious of Dumbledore?
Well...it's not impossible!
If you don't know the truth, then a lot of Dumbledore's actions may seem illogical.
For example... Horcrux!
If you don't know about the Horcrux, then you won't understand why Dumbledore tolerated Voldemort.
And Scrimgeour obviously knows nothing about it.
"Of course, he'll help ."
Andy said with a shrug, "Professor Dumbledore is the Hogwarts Headmaster, and he would never refuse help to a student who loves learning."
After a pause, Andy suddenly asked, "Mr Scrimgeour, did you co to see today just to ask this question?"
Scrimgeour gave a faint smile and said, "Of course not."
"I want to know the details of how you defeated Voldemort…all the details."
After saying this, Scrimgeour took out a quill and notebook and put on an act of taking a serious statent.
"I see..."
Andy sat up a little straighter and said in a serious tone, "When Hermione, Harry and I et up with Snape..."
