"Wizards..."
Dumbledore's gaze beca deep, and he did not imdiately answer the question.
"Very few try to distinguish the true difference between us and magical creatures. Most always arrogantly believe that wizards are superior and in control of everything."
Dumbledore looked at Andy, who felt that he was a very complex and alarming person.
Andy was obsessed with power and had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He tirelessly absorbed all kinds of knowledge to enrich himself and search for the hidden truths of ancient history.
From a magical perspective, such a person was terrifying.
Because in the field of magic, knowledge and power were equivalent.
So forbidden powers could even bring great disasters to the world.
"Collins... Before I answer your question, I hope you will answer mine truthfully." Dumbledore's tone beca a little more serious, as he wanted to have an open and honest conversation with Andy.
Andy had progressed too quickly, so quickly that Dumbledore felt he could no longer restrain Andy.
What was even more frightening was that... Andy was still progressing.
"Of course!" Andy said nonchalantly.
"Do you have any dreams?"
Dumbledore looked at Andy and said, "We've discussed this before. You said that a wizard should do what a wizard is supposed to do."
"And now? Do you still think that way?"
"Of course!" Andy nodded as if it were a matter of course.
After all, this is an unfamiliar world to him; from his birth to now, he mostly spent his ti at ho and Hogwarts, away from society, so Andy had a hard ti developing a deep sense of attachnt to this society. Therefore, from the beginning to the end, Andy has always viewed himself as a 'student'.
Naturally, a student should study hard!
As for reform, that doesn't fit with Andy's character.
"Actually, Mr Grindelwald also talked to about this..."
Andy answered without any psychological burden. "But I'm not interested in any of this! We should save ourselves; no one is obliged to help others for free."
Dumbledore felt a little complicated when he heard this.
He hoped that soone could change the current situation in the wizarding world, but at the sa ti, he also didn't want the wizarding world to experience too much turmoil.
The reason he was so concerned about Andy was because he felt that Andy could change the status quo of the wizarding world.
Andy was talented, capable, and mature, and his thinking was not as extre as Grindelwald's. Even if he was obsessed with magic, he would still set aside so of his energy for his family.
Dumbledore felt that Andy was a lot like him when he was young, but he was doing a better job than he did at that age.
At least Dumbledore had never taken his younger sister to watch the Quidditch World Cup.
It's just that...
Andy is quite antisocial!
In Andy's eyes, other people are just passers-by in life, and everyone is just his casual acquaintance.
Alas!
With a silent sigh, Dumbledore finally returned to the topic. "Collins, you are right... although we possess magic, we are not magical beings."
"This is well illustrated by house elves – they can not only use magic but also use wands to cast spells."
At this, Dumbledore suddenly looked at Andy and said, "In fact, you already have the answer to this question... haven't you? When your magic is active, it should be very easy to cast spells without a wand."
Andy was taken aback.
Before this, Andy always believed that the difference between wizards and magical beings lay in whether their bodies possessed magic, but Dumbledore's answer contradicted this.
"And magic transfiguration..."
Andy hurriedly asked, "Magic transfiguration can transform our bodies and make it possess magic... what is its function?"
Dumbledore asked in return, "Collins, do you know how the Disillusionnt Charm was invented?"
Andy blurted out, "Of course, it was invented based on Demiguise's magi…"
Andy's words trailed off as he stood frozen.
He was so caught up in his own thoughts before that he failed to see the full picture.
Invisibility is a unique innate ability of Demiguise.
If a wizard wants to beco invisible, he must cast the Disillusionnt Charm.
And the Disillusionnt Charm was invented based on the Demiguise's innate ability.
If we explain it according to Andy's 'code theory' – the code of the Disillusionnt Charm was originally unique to the Demiguise, but the wizard later figured it out from the Demiguise.
"So..."
Andy's brow furrowed slightly.
Dumbledore continued, "Magic Transfiguration does give your body so magical properties... You could make a wand out of your hair right now."
"It would just be very poorly conductive..."
"As you might have guessed, the theory of magic transfiguration was first brought up to transform wizards into magical beings."
"But there are huge risks involved!"
"The conflict between the two types of magic... When your own magic can subdue foreign magic, you will feel like you have beco stronger."
"But what if the opposite happens?"
"...then there will be serious after-effects!"
Andy's face changed slightly.
Magic Transfiguration was indeed a path that 'transford wizards into magical beings', but there were huge risks inherent in this path.
Luckily, I have the system!
Looking at the [Constitution: 4] data on the system panel, Andy truly felt that the system was so cute.
"What if one completely transforms?"
Andy asked tentatively, "I an, without incurring any risks, a complete magic transformation... what would it theoretically turn you into?"
Dumbledore pondered for a mont and said, "Your magical power would increase rapidly, and your body would also possess magical properties. At the sa ti, you would be able to cast spells without the need for a wand, as you wished."
"But nature is fair."
"It gives us the versatility in spellcasting but also limits our ability to cast spells."
"Professor, I think I understand." Andy ignored Dumbledore's warning; after all, he didn't know anything about the system.
"Thank you!" Andy said.
After this conversation, Andy had a general overview of his magic transfiguration ahead.
Just the ability to cast spells 'as you wish' was enough for Andy to choose to increase the [Constitution] attribute.
As for the nature of magical life...
Dumbledore did not go into detail, but he did hint at sothing—nature is fair.
Diversity and unique magical characteristics are bound to conflict.
Everything is a choice in the evolution of life!
Ancient wizards could also cast spells without wands, but as wizards beca accustod to using wands, this ability gradually degenerated.
And the core of everything—magic cos from life!
The choices in the evolution of life also influenced the choices in magic.
Andy decided to go back and sort out the logical relationships in it.
"Professor, if there's nothing else, I'd like to go back," Andy said.
Dumbledore: "..."
"Collins..."
Dumbledore reminded him, "Do you rember why we started talking about magic transfiguration?"
