Hogwarts, library.
"Hi. Um... good afternoon?" Andy said, greeting her sowhat awkwardly.
For Hermione, she and him had only been separated for a few short minutes.
But for Andy, having used the Ti Turner three tis in a row, it had been almost ten hours since he had last seen Hermione.
To be honest… he was a little hungry.
But even so, this Andy in front of Hermione was not the Andy who existed at this point in ti, but the Andy from two hours in the future.
As for Andy, at this point in ti, he should be dealing with Snape right now and then preparing the stones to deal with Voldemort. He probably wouldn't pay attention to this side for a while.
"Er..."
Hermione looked at Andy and suddenly asked, "Are you done? How it went at Azkaban?"
"You guessed it?" Andy asked in return.
Hermione raised an eyebrow. "You look exhausted."
"Fine!"
Andy sat down opposite Hermione and sighed, "Not only am I exhausted, I'm also starving. Hermione, do you have any food?"
"Help..."
Andy hadn't eaten for nearly ten hours.
Now was midday.
If he had to wait until evening... Andy felt that he might faint from hunger.
"I've saved you so..."
Hermione looked around furtively; seeing that Madam Pince wasn't looking in their direction, she secretly took a small paper parcel out of her pocket.
"When Professor Dumbledore asked you to go out, I guessed you would use the Ti Turner."
Hermione said, handing Andy the paper parcel, "This is all there is, so help yourself!"
"That's perfect..." Andy was almost moved to tears.
It felt so good to be cared for.
On second thought, he wondered if Dumbledore had eaten yet.
No one would care for him, right?
Happiness is comparative!
Compared to Dumbledore, Andy felt very happy.
"Hermione, you're so sweet," Andy said.
"Eat up!" Hermione acted like she was absorbed in her book.
After a while, Hermione looked up again and asked, "Were there many casualties among the Ministry of Magic personnel?"
"Well…"
Andy pondered for a mont, "Let think, how should I put this... I encountered sothing very strange when using the Ti Turner this ti, and I still have no idea what it was about."
Hermione was instantly intrigued.
The young witch loves solving difficult puzzles.
Especially if it's sothing Andy can't figure out.
"First, Dumbledore told that the Ministry had sent him a letter, which ntioned that a masked man had obstructed the Dark Lord and saved so Aurors."
"He suspected that the masked man might be , so Dumbledore and I went back three hours."
"We went to Azkaban!"
Andy told the situation as simply as possible: "There I t the masked man... He was ! Or rather, the masked man was the future ."
"I recognised him instantly."
"Hermione, we've looked it up together: Azkaban was built by Ekrizdis, who was researching the power of death."
"You know, I'm very interested in this."
After a pause, Andy continued: "There is a hidden room in Azkaban, and I went in... I an, the masked went in."
"After returning to Hogwarts, I travelled back in ti again, put on the mask, and completed that part of history."
"But there's a problem in this!"
This is the part that Andy finds most difficult to understand.
"The reason I know about the hidden room was because I saw the masked enter it."
"But the 'masked man' is the future , and the reason he knows about the hidden room was because he saw..."
"…he also saw the 'masked man' enter the room."
Andy looked at Hermione and said with so frustration, "It's a bit complicated, but you should be able to understand what I an."
Hermione nodded slightly.
This kind of logical problem was not particularly difficult for her.
"The past you saw the future you enter the hidden room, so you know the location of the hidden room."
Hermione concluded, "But the reason the future you knew the location of the hidden room is because he had seen it in the past."
Andy nodded and said, "That's it!"
"The future revealed the location of the hidden room to ."
"When I reached a certain point in ti, I travelled back to the past and revealed it to the 'past ' by entering the hidden room."
"There's a problem in this!"
Andy stared at Hermione, his face filled with seriousness, and then he added, "The hidden room is unknown, so I shouldn't know this secret."
Hermione's face was also solemn.
What Andy had experienced was a completely illogical ti loop.
The 'future self' reveals a secret to 'you', and when 'you' reach the future, you have to travel back to the past to reveal the secret to the 'past self'.
If you map out the tiline, it's an infinite loop.
But how did this secret surface in the first place?
The past and the future are interconnected, and there was never any third party involved from beginning to end.
"Andy, you know about Ti Paradoxes, right?"
Hermione thought for a mont and said, "If soone goes back in ti and kills their parents before they are born, then that person will never exist."
"So the question is... if that person never existed, how could they have killed their parents?"
"There are many such paradoxes."
"Since they are scientifically and logically impossible, many scientists believe that ti travel is not possible."
"Of course, magic has already made it possible."
After a pause, Hermione continued: "Scientists have co up with two hypotheses to explain such paradoxes."
"The first is that when we travel back in ti, we will be forced to act in a certain way to prevent these paradoxes from occurring."
"The second is the theory of parallel tilines."
Andy listened attentively.
He knew so principles in science, but not much.
To his sha, he was less knowledgeable than Hermione in this area.
After all, the young witch knew a lot about science.
"So?" Andy asked.
Hermione folded her arms and gave a helpless look, saying, "That's all I know."
"But normally, information can't just appear out of nowhere."
"Andy, think carefully. Maybe you've missed so details."
"Maybe it's even more serious..."
When she said this, Hermione looked grave.
"Andy, maybe... maybe there's a piece of history that hasn't been completed yet!"
