"That's true! If you're just going to use it to fight, then it's enough to know a few well-practised spells."
Andy agreed, saying, "The rest is training in terms of combat experience... Harry is a Seeker, and his nerve response speed is naturally faster than normal, so he has an advantage in this area."
"Yes! That's right," Sirius revealed an expression of 'we're on the sa page'.
It can be seen that after spending so ti together, Sirius has grown to deeply 'love' Harry. If you simply praise Harry, then you are Sirius's good friend.
"By the way..."
Andy paused for a mont before continuing, "Sirius, no offence, but I am currently studying the fusion of mind and magic."
"And an Obscurus is the product of the fusion of mind and magic."
"You ntioned last ti that..."
The Black family once conducted experints involving Obscurus, but it was a bloody chapter of history that was covered up. Andy didn't really want to ntion it again in front of Sirius unless it was absolutely necessary.
Fortunately, Sirius didn't care about that. He raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh? Andy Collins, the famous genius wizard, the clever Ravenclaw, needs to ask advice from a Gryffindor?"
Andy spread his hands and said apologetically, "Sorry, I guess I have to say it again; I didn't an to offend. But… Sirius, your ancestors were Slytherins."
Sirius: "…"
That really hurt!
Harry sat there, also looking at Sirius with a curious gaze.
The fusion of mind and magic...
After reading Andy's paper, Harry already understood what it ant. Although he couldn't do it himself, he was also extrely curious about the Obscurus.
Sirius gave a faint smile and said generously, "Okay! What do you want to know?"
It had to be said, with his appearance tidied up, Sirius looked quite classy.
Andy thought for a mont and said, "Last ti we talked, you said that the reason the Obscurus would leave the host was because the Obscurus couldn't adapt to stable magic...right?"
Sirius spread his hands. "That's what they concluded."
Andy asked tentatively, "Have they... tried to save the Obscurial?"
"Of course!"
Sirius said with a hint of mockery. "They didn't go to all that trouble with the Obscurus experints just so the kids could die before the age of ten."
"They tried lots of different things, but in the end they failed."
"This had happened a long ti ago."
Sirius recalled, before continuing, "About seven or eight hundred years ago."
Now that Sirius was willing to talk, Andy took the opportunity to ask for a lot of specific details about the Obscurus experint.
However, Sirius couldn't rember much.
He had only seen it once when he was very young, and then his mother had put the docunts away.
Knowing that Andy was studying these, Sirius had looked for them before but had never found them.
Although Sirius didn't know much, for Andy, this was already very important.
Having got what he wanted, Andy borrowed a few more books and then left.
***
Back ho, Andy locked himself in his bedroom and took out his notebook and quill to write down everything he had collected about the Obscurus over the past few days.
So of this information was from books, so from Sirius Black, Grindelwald, and Dumbledore.
And so was Andy's own summary!
After writing it, Andy read it from beginning to end to make sure he hadn't missed anything. Then he spread the notebook flat on the desk.
The information was very ssy. So parts contradicted each other.
And so were just personal guesses.
It can be seen from how the mainstream society in the wizarding world had long ago labelled the Obscurus as a 'Dark Magic Force'. They rejected this power and were unwilling to even study it.
But this is only natural!
After all, the way Obscurus ca into being... It was dood to be unpopular.
Not to ntion that Obscurus will kill its host.
In the history of the wizarding world, only a handful of wizards have studied the power of Obscurus.
Newt Scamander was one of them.
He classified it as a magical life form, a magical life form born inside young wizards.
'Magical life form...'
Andy looked thoughtfully at his notebook. 'Maybe... it should be called a magical parasitic life form because an Obscurus cannot survive independently of its host.'
'Hmm... magic cos from life, and this energy from life gives birth to new life...'
'Does it erode our vitality?'
Andy looked at the information about Obscurus in his notebook, trying to find so clues to the links between them.
Sirius said: The reason why the Obscurus will leave its host is because the Obscurus cannot adapt to stable magic.
This is what the ancestors of the Black family concluded from their experints with the Obscurus.
Very plausible!
Grindelwald said: Only our own magic can beco an Obscurus, and the magic of nature stolen through magic transmutation will not change. If the two are mutually restrictive, the Obscurial can live longer.
To be honest, Andy felt that this view of Grindelwald was more reliable than his own previous view.
Because the birth of an Obscurus involved the fusion of the mind and magic.
How could magic from nature possibly fuse with the power of the human mind?
Precisely because of this, this external power would not beco an Obscurus.
'If that's the case...'
Andy pondered for a mont, 'If the experints with magic transfiguration and Obscurus are successful, won't three powers be fighting for dominance in ?'
The Fat Cat Patronus's magic, the magic of magic transfiguration, and the magic of Obscurus.
Hm…?
'Luckily, a triangle relationship is the most stable!' Andy comforted himself ntally.
But in that case, everything ca back to the sa question as before: how to prevent Obscurus from leaving the host?
So far, only Sirius has given an answer.
It was highly reliable but not necessarily helpful.
'Hmm... I still lack crucial clues,'
Andy thought and suddenly made up his mind, 'I still need to keep in contact with Grindelwald.'
The portable grandfather, there's no harm in using the service!
Andy set a small goal in his heart: to completely empty Grindelwald before the start of the fourth year.
***
Just as Andy was planning how to communicate with the 'portable grandpa' in his head, the 'portable grandpa' himself, Grindelwald, was not in a good mood.
He had been hung up on!
Who the hell is Grindelwald? What status does he have? How dare you, a third-year young wizard, hang up on ?
You don't want to go on living, do you?
