'Dentors...'
As he approached Azkaban Castle, Andy glanced up at the dentors roaming around the castle.
No one knew where these monsters ca from; they seed to have appeared in the wizarding world out of nowhere, sucking the joy and the souls of people and being difficult to wipe out.
Andy recalled the information about the Dentors.
Dentors are one of the most evil creatures in the wizarding world. They appear in groups in the darkest and filthiest places, cheering corruption and despair, sucking all the peace, hope, and joy out of the surrounding area.
What's even more terrifying is that, according to known records, Dentors cannot be killed by any ans.
Even the Patronus Charm, which is the nesis of Dentors, can only expel them.
There are very few records of Dentors in the books because no one dares to study them, and Sirius doesn't have much information either.
However, Sirius once said that Dentors have a physical body, and they cannot pass through obstacles. They have special bodies that only wizards with magical powers can see.
Even today, there are signs of Dentors' activity all over the world. But Andy had found that Azkaban was the place where Dentors first originated, in a book in the Restricted Section.
So Andy once thought that Dentors were the result of Ekrizdis's experints—they were the product of the fusion of the mind and magic, a by-product of the research into the Obscurus.
And creatures like Dentors also fit the preferences of the Dark Wizard very well.
But Snape obviously had a different opinion!
Andy cautiously approached the dentors, observing their appearance while recalling their abilities.
In this regard, Sirius is clearly in a good position to speak.
He once told Andy: When a large number of dentors approach you, you will feel the light and warmth around you being sucked away; your body and soul will gradually fall into darkness and cold; courage and hope will gradually fade; and fear and nothingness will gradually take over your heart.
It's a horrible feeling!
You can't think of anything but the pain. If you're not rescued in ti, the dentor will suck your soul away.
'This feeling... is a bit like death!' Andy thought to himself.
Power, invisibility, soul...
'Was Ekrizdis also researching the power of death?'
It's not impossible!
Andy guessed in his heart, 'Is this what Snape found?'
Andy thought about it. He did seem to have ntioned to Snape before that when the Resurrection Stone absorbed the power behind the curtain, he had felt a chill that went right to his soul.
Under that cold, Andy's thoughts had been frozen.
But there was still a difference between that and the feeling that Dentors gave!
Dentors could only suck away positive emotions, not negative ones.
The cat frowned.
'If one says that the Dentors are the result of failed experints into the power of death, it is not entirely unfounded.'
'Their greatest power is not in absorbing happiness, but in absorbing souls...'
Andy suddenly had a flash of inspiration.
Yes! Dentors can absorb souls!
When the Ministry of Magic announced that Peter Pettigrew would be executed by Dentor's Kiss, the Daily Prophet made a special report on Dentor's Kiss.
It ntioned:
After a person's soul has been snatched by a dentor, their brain and body will continue to function, and the person will remain alive. However, that person will no longer have any sense of self, no mories, no... nothing.
This is basically the sa as what Dumbledore said about the soul.
'Maybe... I can try to catch a Dentor and study it!'
'Snape must have thought the sa thing!'
Andy hid in a corner, his cat eyes fixed on the dentor floating in the air, pondering how he could capture one alive.
'Since dentors have a physical form, a sack should be able to trap them.'
'The Patronus Charm is the nesis of the dentor...I might be able to use the Patronus Charm to drive a dentor into a sack.'
Andy quickly worked out a plan to capture a Dentor and then walked unobtrusively towards the coast of the island.
It was not the right ti to capture a dentor.
Dentors could communicate; they are not completely mindless magical creatures; otherwise, the Ministry of Magic would not have let Dentors guard Azkaban.
If a Dentor discovered that one of its kind was missing... Andy and Snape would be exposed in an instant.
So Andy planned to create a Portkey.
The incantation for creating a Portkey is 'Portus', which is a very simple spell, so even though the Ministry of Magic has very strict restrictions on Portkeys, they are often misused.
After arriving at the beach, Andy reverted to his human form.
From the pocket of his clothes, which had been enchanted with the Undetectable extension charm, he took out an empty potion vial, pointed his wand at the empty potion vial, and recited the incantation, "Portus!"
The empty vial trembled slightly; a faint blue light surrounded it, and then everything returned to normal after a few seconds.
'OK!' Andy put the empty vial away.
With this, the island where Azkaban is located has been marked by Andy. As long as the Portkey is activated, Andy can arrive here at any ti.
In fact, it is not surprising that the Ministry of Magic has strict restrictions on Portkeys. This thing is indeed a bit of a bug.
The consequences of using the Portkey illegally are very serious. Once the Ministry of Magic finds out—in Kyle's words—it's not worth living.
However, even so, the Portkey cannot be banned.
After making the Portkey, Andy once again disappeared and then transford into the form of Animagus, ready to infiltrate Azkaban prison and investigate.
This is the legendary Azkaban!
Now that he's here, he might as well go in for a look... Right?
Maybe he can discover the secrets of Ekrizdis.
Andy is curious about him now!
Andros, the Invincible Wizard of Ancient Greece.
Ekrizdis, the dark wizard who built Azkaban.
Just thinking about these people makes Andy feel like he's not alone in his quest.
Mind, soul, and the magic of death...
Their research into magic is basically the sa as Andy's.
Looking at the castle in front of him, Andy suddenly felt a sense of destiny.
Andy was studying the dark magic transfiguration to steal the power of death, and at this ti, Andy discovered that Ekrizdis was also studying the power of death.
His research result was the dentor!
It was an evil magical creature that looked a lot like the Grim Reaper.
Despite the lack of evidence, based solely on the information currently available about the dentor, Andy is 80% certain that Ekrizdis conducted research on the magic of death.
'I'm here, Professor!'
With a sense of anticipation, Andy sneaked into Azkaban Prison.
