A few days pass in a blink of an eye since John narrowed down the possible location for the entrance to the Island of Ti. Each day they would search a section with no luck, but on the other hand they watched as tensions grew between various groups or gangs. It has appeared this section wasn't the eting point of just one group but several.
"I hope today is our lucky day." Angel muttered.
"Did you wear your lucky panties to boost our luck?" Felix joked as he looked out at the body of water before them.
"Of course." Angel nodded seriously. "Do you want to see?"
"Can you two be serious?" John asked.
"Sorry, I don't have the right parts to be Sirius." Angel smirked. "Instead I have these puppies."
Angel placed her hands on her breasts and lightly juggled them. Which made John grumble as he stopped paying attention and continued to seriously look.
"What's up with him?" Angel whispered to Felix. "Even if he didn't like my jokes, he isn't normally this grumpy."
"His forr girlfriend is getting married and seems to be pregnant." Felix whispered. "His mother called this morning."
"Already?" Angel blinked. "We have been out of school for like a month. I only know that she t her boyfriend not even two months ago."
"Which is why John's mother was asking if there is a chance if the child is his. It's not, but we guess she was seeing her current partner while still being with him." Felix whispered.
"That whore." Angel angrily stomped her foot.
Felix just nodded and dropped the topic. He didn't want to gossip or continue this topic since clearly it hit a sore spot for his friend.
After another hour of intense searching, Felix stood facing the water and humd to himself. Due to the island being outside of ti and space, clearly an anchor is needed. Otherwise it would float off into the void or so other world. So looking around, Felix decided to change the searching approach and look for sothing that has been here for centuries.
The binding couldn't be a rock or the like. So rubbing his lightly facial hair on his chin. Felix humd as he began to look around and finally landed on a bigger rock. Naturally the rock had nothing to do with what he was searching for, but could help him see around further.
"Did you find anything?" Angel called out to him.
"Not yet." Felix said.
Then pulling out his wand, Felix gave it a twirl like he did when looking for the Golden Idol. The surroundings began to light up in very sparse spots. Showing little artifacts or treasure in the area.
Moving around, Felix began to dig around at the spots. However, it wasn't anything worthwhile granted he did find a fossil of a fish on a rock. So tucking that one away, he continued his search until he discovered a large black horn in the center of a rock.
The horn looked very eerie if he had to describe it as it looked both real and illusory at the sa ti. He could also vaguely detect this thing was out of ti or is made by ti. Whatever this horn belonged to was heavily related to ti. Which struck him as odd since ti is a concept and not a being.
"Did you find sothing?" John asked.
"Yeah." Felix answered.
"Huh? Shouldn't I find it since I wore my lucky underwear?" Angel grumbled.
Ignoring Angel's comnt, John quickly ca to Felix's side and began to look at the horn with him. The two of them looked at it and the painting next to it, since clearly whoever put this horn in the rock also painted the origin of it.
"What do you think this is?" John asked. "I don't really rember any magical creatures that have a horn like this."
"A creature of ti if I wager, maybe a guardian? From the painting, and legend, it says the Prince changed the tiline and his fate. So maybe Ti didn't like that and sent this being to correct it but lost in the end." Felix guessed.
"If ti magic wasn't dangerous enough." John muttered.
"Yeah, well it is what it is." Felix shrugged.
"So is this what we are looking for?" Angel brought the topic back on track.
Felix took a few monts before nodding for it is what they were looking for. This is the ticket to find and get to the Island of Ti. However, seeing this horn, his sense of danger was growing as this trip to the island won't be as smooth as when getting the Golden Idol.
"Alright, let's get going." John said.
"Be on guard as I feel getting this dagger won't be smooth." Felix warned both of them.
John and Angel nodded then, Felix began to do the magic and soon the three of them vanished from the spot. When they reappeared they were in an unfamiliar spot and what greeted them was a tall humanoid sand creature with red eyes swinging its fist at them.
