Small injuries?

Harry felt such sharp pain in his chest that he didn't even dare to look at Darren for a mont.

He could only force himself to move toward the corner of the tower, just as Darren had told him.

A Death Eater was curled there in terror.

It must have been the Dentors who had crashed in earlier and slamd him against the wall.

Harry imdiately bound him tightly with ropes.

Then he rushed back.

Darren was sitting on the ground, eyes closed.

Blood soaked his clothes, spreading silently.

For a split second, Harry thought Darren was dead.

His heart nearly stopped.

He dropped to his knees, wand shaking in his hand, and kept muttering hoarsely:

"Recover… recover… please… Darren… please wake up…"

Darren finally opened his eyes.

He forced a smile.

"Go… brother… let's move… we still need to catch them…"

[Ding, Father 100]

Harry's vision blurred.

He wiped his eyes hard, helped Darren to his feet, and the two of them staggered out together.

As they moved, Darren heard Snape's voice echoing through the tower:

"Enough. It's done. Leave—now!"

Harry's voice shook with hatred.

"Kill Snape… kill Snape…"

Harry truly believed that if Snape died, everything could be reversed.

He was about to charge forward—

But Darren grabbed him.

Harry froze.

Then he saw Greyback standing ahead, grinning viciously.

"Well, well," Greyback laughed,

"Looks like I get to earn so credit today. A dying Darren Potter, and a Harry Potter barely holding on… I'll taste the blood of both Potters tonight."

Harry raised his wand—

A red spell blasted him backward.

"Brother, move aside—let do it!"

It was Darren.

Darren shoved Harry away.

His steps were unsteady, but his wand blazed with violent, shifting light.

Greyback was forced back again and again.

Harry barely had ti to react—

A sharp red spell from Darren struck Greyback squarely.

Greyback collapsed.

Harry almost let out a breath of relief—

Then he saw Ron.

Darren saw him too.

Darren nearly rushed forward.

Two witches were attacking Ron and Ginny, hurling Unforgivable Curses.

Ron dodged desperately.

Too desperately.

Harry knew—this kind of dodging ant Ron was being pushed to his limit.

Darren raised his wand.

Two dark beams shot out.

The witches lted.

They collapsed into shapeless sludge on the stone floor—so distorted that no one could even tell they had once been human.

Harry saw Darren's face drain of color.

Darren stared at the remains.

Then he flicked his wand.

"Scourgify."

The floor was spotless.

No trace.

No evidence for the Ministry.

Darren's eyes were red.

He didn't speak.

He was staring ahead.

Harry followed his gaze—

Snape.

Snape was forcing Malfoy and the others toward the Room of Requirent.

"Crucio!"

Darren shouted.

The spell was deflected effortlessly.

Snape sneered.

"Darren Potter, don't bother using Unforgivable Curses. You can't use them against ."

"For all these years, you never once doubted . Not even a little. Did you?"

"Shut up!"

Darren suddenly roared.

Tears stread down his face.

"I treated you like a father! And you killed Headmaster Dumbledore—you bastard!"

[Ding, Father 100]

[Ding, Father 100]

[Ding, Father 100]

[Ding]

Snape chuckled softly.

"Touching… truly touching. But—"

He hurled a potion bottle.

It shattered.

A strange, choking sll filled the air.

Darren suddenly vomited blood.

His body shook violently.

He looked ready to collapse—

But he didn't.

He dropped his wand and lunged forward, grabbing Snape by the throat with both hands.

"Brother!" Darren shouted hoarsely.

"Kill him—catch him!"

Harry snapped out of it.

He raised his wand.

"Impedinta—"

Even while being strangled, Snape blocked it effortlessly.

"Expelliarmus."

Harry's wand flew from his hand.

Snape was clearly suffering—Darren's grip was crushing—but he was still dangerous.

Harry knew—

This was his chance.

Then—

The Death Eater Harry had tied earlier broke free and rushed forward.

Harry's wand skidded across the floor.

"Let go of Snape," the wizard scread,

"or Harry Potter dies!"

Ti slowed.

Darren turned.

His eyes locked onto Harry.

At that mont—

A red spell burst from Snape's wand.

It struck Darren.

Darren closed his eyes.

He didn't move.

Harry's scar exploded with pain.

He scread.

Snape barked sharply:

"Enough! They're all Dark Lord's n—move!"

The Death Eater fled.

Harry forced himself up, grabbed his wand, and scread:

"Levicorpus!"

Snape was yanked upside down—

But only for a mont.

He slamd back down and advanced furiously.

"Potter!" Snape roared.

"You dare use my own spell against ? You're a thief, just like your father!"

Harry couldn't breathe.

Invisible force crushed his throat.

He was lifted—

Then—

"Don't hurt my brother!"

Snape was hurled aside.

A powerful screech cut through the air.

Buckbeak landed in front of Darren, wings spread, beak gleaming.

Harry scrambled for his wand.

He was ready to kill Snape—

"Harry! Harry—calm down! He's handled!"

Hagrid's voice.

Harry turned.

Hagrid stood there, beard singed, sparks still glowing in it.

He was holding Darren.

Darren's face was pale, eyes closed.

"Thank rlin… he's still alive," Hagrid said gently.

He looked at Harry.

"With Dumbledore gone… things are bad. But we'll manage."

He picked up Darren, looked at Harry and said, "It's not too bad, Dumbledore will probably be here soon , everything can be handled.

Harry stared at Darren's motionless face—

And for the first ti that night, he finally let himself collapse.
