Darren has a good mory.

The next day, sure enough, in all four houses, Umbridge posted notices stating that regular gatherings of more than three people were forbidden.

If there were any regular gatherings, they had to be reported to her, along with the reason, which she would decide was acceptable or not.

Only after her approval would such activities be allowed to continue.

Harry and the others were furious.

"This isn't an accident. Soone must have snitched!" Harry said angrily.

But Hermione noticed that Darren had been carefully reading the notice and said quietly, "Impossible. I put a contract spell on that parchnt. If they break it, their faces will be covered in pimples!"

Harry's mouth fell open in shock.

"Keep your mouth shut and don't let Darren know!" Hermione whispered fiercely.

Harry imdiately closed his mouth.

They secretly glanced at Darren and felt relieved when they saw that he didn't seem to notice anything.

Darren felt a little helpless.

He had clearly noticed their actions. With movents that obvious, it was impossible not to see or hear them.

But if he said what he had noticed, given his personality, he would definitely expose the contract, and that would cause everything to collapse. It was better to pretend he hadn't heard anything.

After all, he was the one who believed these people needed to be bound by a contract in the first place.

So he simply turned his head away as if nothing had happened.

He walked over to Harry and whispered, "It's not just our organization. She's included Quidditch as well."

Harry and Ron were stunned.

"No way… She wouldn't actually stop us from training for Quidditch, would she?"

"But if Professor McGonagall doesn't deal with her, she probably really would object!"

They were anxious and uneasy.

At this mont, more than worrying about their own organization, the two of them were worried that Quidditch practice would be cancelled.

Darren secretly smiled when he saw Hermione's expression.

Harry and Ron, anwhile, were still complaining about whether Umbridge would really stop them from playing Quidditch.

Fortunately, before Hermione could lose her temper, it was ti for their History of Magic class.

Professor Binns was as dull as ever. Listening to him made people sleepy.

Just as Darren was about to fall asleep, he noticed Hedwig outside the window.

One of her wings wasn't fully extended.

Darren nudged Harry.

Harry followed his gaze, and his face imdiately changed.

Hedwig had been attacked.

He quickly raised his hand, trying to get Professor Binns to notice his urgency, but Professor Binns didn't even look up.

He continued reading from the book in a monotonous voice.

Harry grew increasingly anxious.

Darren hesitated.

He actually wanted to go back to sleep, but instead, he suddenly put on an extrely anxious expression, as if he were deeply worried about Hedwig's injury.

Harry was still raising his hand when Darren suddenly stood up.

"Darren?" Professor Binns was startled by the sudden movent and finally looked up, asking suspiciously. His face was full of confusion.

After all, Darren's behavior was truly incomprehensible to him.

"Professor…" Darren began anxiously, as if about to say sothing.

But the next second, he suddenly collapsed without any warning.

"Darren!"

"Darren!"

His fall startled many students.

Professor Binns wanted to do sothing, but as a ghost, there was little he could do. He imdiately looked at Harry.

"Quick, send Darren to the school infirmary!"

Harry hurriedly picked Darren up and rushed toward the door.

But after taking only a few steps outside, Darren suddenly opened his eyes.

"Darren, how are you feeling now?" Harry asked anxiously, not suspecting for a mont that this was Darren's way of skipping class.

Darren rubbed his head, straightened up, and said, "Brother, I'm fine. I might just be a little sleepy… But look at Hedwig first. I think she's been attacked!"

As he spoke, he quickly ran to the window and picked up Hedwig.

Hedwig gently touched Darren's cheek with her beak and dropped a letter.

It was from Sirius.

Darren's expression imdiately turned worried.

"Brother, soone is monitoring our communications!"

Harry nodded solemnly, but he was more concerned about Darren.

"Forget about Hedwig for now. You're coming to the school infirmary with first!"

Harry grabbed Hedwig and dragged Darren toward the infirmary.

Professor McGonagall was already there. When she saw Harry, she frowned.

"You're not in detention again, are you?"

"No! It's Darren. He fainted in class!" Harry said anxiously.

Darren hurriedly added, "It's nothing. I just didn't sleep well, that's why this happened, actually—"

"Oh, child, don't talk. I think you should stay in the school infirmary tonight," Madam Pomfrey said seriously after casting several diagnostic spells and checking the feedback.

Professor McGonagall looked even more worried.

"Poppy, how is he?"

"It's not serious. He just hasn't been sleeping well for a long ti. His spirit is poor, so he fainted. He needs to stay here tonight," Madam Pomfrey replied solemnly.

"But—"

Darren still looked worried. He glanced at Hedwig, as if wanting to say sothing to Harry, but Madam Pomfrey had already pushed him onto the bed.

She took out a potion bottle and handed it to Darren.

Darren was about to speak instead of drinking it, but Madam Pomfrey misunderstood, thinking he was refusing.

She grabbed the potion and poured it directly into his mouth.

The mont he swallowed it, Darren began to feel drowsy.

Still, he forced himself to say, "Brother… there's a problem with communication…"

Then he fell completely asleep.

Harry looked at him anxiously.

"When will Darren wake up?"

"Oh, child, once he's caught up on his sleep, he'll wake up. Don't worry," Madam Pomfrey said as she pulled the curtain around Darren's bed.

Harry could no longer see him and could only step outside, still worried.

Just as he did, Professor McGonagall grabbed his shoulder.

She whispered, "I know what Darren ant. Hogwarts' communications are being monitored. Don't say anything important in letters."

She nodded at Harry and then left the infirmary in a hurry.
