"Well, that's all small stuff," Becky said coldly, tossing her hair back. "What you need to learn now is to never use your body to block a curse again."

Her tone was firm — but under it, there was the faintest flicker of worry.

The last ti Darren had taken a Killing Curse for her, he'd barely survived. A miracle, really. But how many miracles could a person have?

She had to make him understand: you don't block Unforgivable Curses with your body.

Pisa Frank, who had been sitting nearby, burst out laughing. "You— you really did that? You used your body to stop a spell?"

Even though he tried to hide it, his laughter bubbled out again.

Everyone in the Frank family had been taught that their own lives were the most valuable thing they owned. If you got hit by a Killing Curse while saving soone else, you weren't noble — you were a fool.

"If that happened in my family," Pisa snickered, "my grandfather would've whipped to death for being that stupid—"

The laughter died instantly.

Because Becky Greengrass was staring at him — cold, sharp, her cherry-wood wand twirling lazily between her fingers.

The air seed to drop ten degrees.

Pisa's smile froze. "I-I… what did I say?"

He darted a glance at his older brother, Ace, silently begging for help.

Ace didn't even look up. He'd already learned that lesson.

You idiot, he thought. Haven't you realized yet?

The Greengrass heiress doesn't let anyone near her — and yet she brought this "Muggle-born" boy into her compartnt herself. Why? Because he saved her life.

She might sneer, she might scold — but the boy had blocked a Killing Curse for her.

That kind of debt doesn't just disappear.

Ace sighed and stayed quiet. Pisa would have to learn the hard way.

Everyone else shifted uncomfortably. They wanted to laugh at Darren's idiocy — but after Pisa's humiliation, no one dared.

"Hurry up and teach him sothing already!" Becky snapped, tossing her wand onto the seat beside her. "What, do I have to do everything myself?"

The Franks exchanged panicked glances.

Then they subtly shoved Dulogar forward — the unlucky third-year prefect who'd been enjoying the show from the corner.

"Wh— what are you lot doing?" Dulogar hissed.

But when he caught Becky's cold gaze, he swallowed hard and forced a grin. "Ah— of course, of course. I'll… teach him a lesson."

He pulled out his wand, straightening his shoulders dramatically.

"It looks like I'll have to show you what a real wizard's lesson is like—"

Clack!

Becky's cherry-wood wand struck his wrist before he could even aim.

"Ow— Miss Greengrass?"

"Put that thing away," Becky snapped. "He's a first-year. You think you're so kind of dueling champion? Trying to scare him?"

Her tone was like ice.

Even Darren was startled for a mont.

No matter how prickly she acted, she wasn't cruel. Not really.

"The lesson," Dulogar muttered weakly, lowering his wand. "You… you still want to teach him, right?"

"I said teach him, not hex him!" Becky folded her arms, glaring at him like he'd personally offended her.

Dulogar looked between Darren's innocent face and Becky's impatient one and deflated completely.

At that point, even his wand seed useless.

He sighed, rubbing his forehead. "What's the point of this…"

"Useless," Becky said flatly. "Stand over there and stop wasting space."

"…Yes, ma'am."

Darren had been watching the entire thing, trying not to laugh.

So this was the infamous Overlord Flower of Hogwarts? Underneath that sharp tongue was soone who actually cared — though she'd rather hex herself than admit it.

Maybe Slytherins weren't all cold-hearted after all.

He smiled softly, turning to Becky with an expression so gentle it caught her off guard.

"Senior Sister Becky," he said earnestly, "I understand now. You're only scolding because you care. You didn't want to get hurt again — after what happened before."

"I was scared too, you know. I'll be careful next ti. Thank you for worrying about ."

Becky froze, the faintest blush rising to her cheeks. No one had ever spoken to her like that.

Then she tossed her hair again and huffed, "Don't flatter yourself! I don't care about you! You just… happen to be stupid, and I can't stand it."

She looked away, chin tilted proudly.

"Still," she muttered after a mont, "since you're my savior… I suppose I can give you one more chance. Co on then — surrender to !"

Her tone was half proud, half teasing — like a queen offering clency.

Darren nearly choked. Surrender?

He wasn't about to bow to anyone. Friendship was fine — but submission? Not a chance.

Before he could reply, a familiar sound chid in his head.

[Ding! The Holy Father System has detected a triggered event nearby.]

[New Mission Released:]

> Step in front of Becky and shield her from danger.

Shout: "Sister, get down!"

Reward: Bloodline Talent – Natural Healing

Accept Mission?

Darren didn't hesitate. Accept.

As he glanced casually toward Becky, his sharp eyes caught a glint of red — a tiny, moving dot of light on her shoulder.

His blood ran cold.

A targeting charm… no, that's—

A sniper's mark?

For a split second, he almost laughed in disbelief.

What kind of trouble magnet is this girl?

First a Death Curse, now this?

Apparently, being the Overlord Flower of Hogwarts ca with more enemies than flowers.
