Chapter 673: Chapter 659: Hagrid’s Doubts—Is Dumbledore Taking Action Again? (2)

It’s sowhat like an Awakening Potion, but the taste is different, a pleasant vanilla scent.

Besides that, Mrs. Weasley sent a Christmas sweater, gray, very comfortable to wear.

Hagrid sent him a furry wallet with fangs, with a note attached saying it’s a theft-proof wallet, and the Galleons inside would be safe.

He wasn’t wrong, the only problem is that the wallet doesn’t recognize people. Even Kael couldn’t retrieve the money, he put a Sickle inside and couldn’t get it out.

Professor Snape sent a bottle of air.

Dumbledore’s gift was a wool scarf.

Additionally, Professor Cecily also sent a Christmas gift... a bottle of Felix Felicis.

Upon seeing that dazzling golden bottle, Kael suddenly lost interest in the gifts that followed.

"I should have known and opened this last," Kael muttered.

After opening all the gifts, Kael walked out of the dormitory and went to the auditorium with Conna.

The ice sculptures were still there, and they had additional extravagant dress robes, also magically transford, looking like the work of Professor Flitwick.

After having Christmas lunch, Conna prepared to go to the library. According to her previous plan, she was to finish reading at least three books related to Magic Potion during this Christmas holiday.

Kael left the castle alone and went to Hagrid’s hut nearby.

It’s uncertain whether it’s because of Umbridge or sothing else, but Hagrid has been in a bad mood lately.

When Kael arrived, he was sitting next to the pumpkin patch, cooking a pot of sticky stuff, with an empty bucket beside him, likely preparing food for so Fantastic Beasts.

"rry Christmas, Hagrid. What is this?" Kael greeted him, frowning as he asked.

Hagrid seed lost in thought, getting startled by Kael’s voice.

"rry Christmas, Kael," he said, looking up. "Just a hearty stew of at, guts, and coarse oat cakes." He sounded a bit sheepish, "Uh... preparing it for Fluffy, it likes this."

"Oh, I see." Kael nodded, understanding that no matter how odd the food was, it seed reasonable as soon as it involved the Three-Headed Dog.

Those Fantastic Beasts truly weren’t picky eaters and never cared about the presentation.

Kael conjured a chair for himself, sat next to Hagrid, and asked, "What’s been going on with you recently?"

"What?" Hagrid asked, "I’m fine."

"Then why were you ten minutes late for the last class? You never used to be late, and..." Kael glanced at Hagrid’s face, "how did you get that injury?"

Hagrid’s eye was swollen again, with a large, noticeable bruise like he’d been hit by a Bludger.

"No, nothing," Hagrid quickly lowered his head, trying to cover his eye with his hand, "I just... accidentally walked into a tree."

"You aid well, then," Kael said with a laugh, not exposing his honestly flimsy lie.

"Alright... it’s because of that annoying Umbridge," Hagrid hesitated, then said:

"She said she’d check my classes again after the holidays, and if she’s not satisfied, she’ll put

on probation at the school."

Hagrid’s words beca smoother as he picked up a handful of wood to add to the fire, stirring the pot of unknown contents to bubble up.

"But what would make her satisfied... I an, she always finds excuses to give my classes low marks, no matter what I do, even when I talk normally, she writes it down as

intimidating the students.

"It’s ridiculous, she’s obviously doing it on purpose because I said I’d always support Dumbledore!"

"Of course, that’s exactly what she ca to Hogwarts to do," Kael said.

Hagrid sighed, seemingly not wanting to discuss the topic anymore.

"Why aren’t you going ho for the holidays?" He changed the topic, "I thought you’d stay at Sirius’s for Christmas, like Harry."

"I’m planning sothing..." Kael said, "but it has to be here at the school, and only when Umbridge isn’t around. I need your help."

"No problem." Without a second thought, Hagrid responded, "Just tell , what do you need?"

"No rush." Kael waved his hand, "Before that, I want to ask you sothing."

"What is it?"

"It’s about the school owls. Have there been any abnormalities lately?" Kael asked, "Like injuries or missing letters?"

"How did you know?" Hagrid asked, alard, "Even though no letters have gone missing, there have been injured owls, more than one.

"Whoever is responsible for this, if I catch them, they’ll get a piece of my mind."

"Great." Kael said instinctively.

"What, you must be mistaken." Hagrid frowned, speaking seriously, "If soone is attacking the owls, they could be trying to steal the letters they carry. It’s not good at all."

"Let him look, no need to catch him, just toss the letters to him," Kael said with a smile. "I have a plan that might make Umbridge leave Hogwarts."

Hagrid didn’t bother to cover his eye now, looking over quickly.

"Tell , what can I do?"

"It’s simple, go to the Owl Post Office and send a letter from there to Hogwarts."

"What did you say?" Hagrid thought he heard wrong and couldn’t help asking, "You want

to go to the Owl Post Office and send a letter to Hogwarts?"
