Chapter 586: Chapter 584: The Unscathed Professor
After thinking about this, Kael shook his head and said, "Sorry Harry, it’s not that I don’t want to tell you, it’s just not possible.
"Sirius’s house is protected by the Fidelius Charm. Even if soone else says the address, you still won’t be able to find the location unless you’re the Secret-Keeper."
After receiving Kael’s response, Harry looked extrely disappointed. He had been hoping for a year to escape the Dursleys and live with Sirius.
But after a year, he still had to return to Privet Drive, as if nothing had changed.
"Don’t look so glum, Harry, think of sothing happy." Fred said from the side, "At least Sirius is safe, isn’t he?"
"And Professor Moody..." George added, "The school year is over, but they’re all fine, uninjured, no Dentors, and not captured by Aurors, completely intact."
"Yeah." Cedric suddenly said, "No wonder I always felt sothing was missing this year; in previous years, no Defence Against the Dark Arts professor lasted this long."
At this mont, everyone seed to perk up, and even Harry temporarily forgot about Sirius.
"Do you think it has sothing to do with having two professors this year?" Ron said excitedly, "Maybe the curse only works on one person at a ti, and it becos ineffective with more."
"I don’t think that’s likely." Hermione pondered, "I read in a book that Hogwarts has changed over fifty Defence Against the Dark Arts professors. If it were that simple, Headmaster Dumbledore would know."
"Is it possible he really doesn’t know?" Fred said, "I an, he might not even be able to find two professors; having even one a year is already a stretch."
"Yeah." George nodded, "I rember Bill said once that in his second year, they didn’t find a Defence Against the Dark Arts professor until a month after school started."
"I rember too." Fred couldn’t help but laugh, "And then at Christmas, that professor was sent to St. Mungo’s because of a spell mistake while drunk."
"And then they didn’t have any new professors."
At this point, everyone couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Indeed, Dumbledore’s biggest headache each year was how to find a new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor for the school.
And every holiday, he would beco the "unwelco Dumbledore."
If that’s the case, he might really not be able to find two people.
Harry laughed too. If it were up to him, he would definitely choose a Defence Against the Dark Arts professor like Sirius over spending the holiday with him.
After all, the holiday is only two months, but being a professor ans he could accompany him for the whole school year. Weighing it out, the latter is definitely more worthwhile.
Of course, if he could choose both, that would be even better.
"Don’t worry, Harry." Ron patted his shoulder, "Mom is sure to convince Dumbledore to let you stay with us this sumr, just like during the Quidditch World Cup."
"I hope so." Harry said.
Not being able to stay with Sirius, the Shabby Residence is still a great place; it’s just a matter of whether they’ll have ti this year.
After all, the Weasleys would probably be helping to prevent Voldemort’s rise again... that’s no easy task, and Harry didn’t want to trouble them because of himself.
While speaking, the train gradually slowed down.
"We’re here." Conna glanced out the window.
Soon, the Hogwarts Express stopped at Platform 9??, and everyone started getting off the train, the aisle becoming chaotic and noisy again.
"Harry."
When they lined up, ready to cross the barrier, Kael suddenly said to Harry in front, "You better be careful this year, stay vigilant."
"I know." Harry nodded, "Because of Voldemort, right? Sirius also told
the sa thing, said that Voldemort might co looking for , and to alert Professor Dumbledore imdiately if anything seems off."
"That’s just one aspect." Kael glanced at the queue ahead, "You also need to watch out for the Ministry of Magic."
"The Ministry of Magic?" Harry was a bit puzzled, "Why."
"Because they might give you trouble." Kael said, "Rember that article in the Daily Prophet, the one saying you were seeking attention?"
Harry nodded; he certainly couldn’t forget that.
"That was just the beginning... if you continue to insist that Voldemort has co back."
Kael lowered his voice, "They don’t want to believe You-Know-Who is back, nor do they want others to believe it.
"So by insisting on it, you’re going against the Ministry of Magic. They’ll try to make trouble for you, make you out to be a delusional lunatic so that no one will believe you."
"But it’s true!" Harry’s face turned red as he said with a stiff neck, "You saw it yourself."
"But Cornelius Fudge didn’t see it." Kael said calmly, "Unless you can drag You-Know-Who to the Ministry of Magic and expose him to everyone, Fudge won’t believe it.
"I think you should have realized this at the Hospital Wing."
Harry remained silent, saying nothing.
Kael was right; when Voldemort was ntioned, Fudge’s reaction was extre, even arguing with Professor Dumbledore to the point of parting ways.
"But why ." Harry still couldn’t quite understand.
"It’s simple, because they can’t deal with Professor Dumbledore, or they don’t dare." Kael said, "But you’re different. You’re just a student, at most a sowhat famous one.
"But fa doesn’t equal power; they have many ways to deal with you... like releasing a Fantastic Beast or sothing else on Privet Drive, forcing you to use magic for self-defense.
"And once you use magic outside of school, you’ll violate the ’no underage magic outside of school’ rule, and they could even expel you."
"What did you say? Expel!" Harry beca instantly nervous.
"You must be joking, right? Professor Dumbledore is the headmaster; they can’t expel ."
"Yes, but only if you haven’t done anything wrong." Kael said, "The notice before the break made it clear that once a student is found using magic outside of school, there’s a possibility of expulsion.
"Of course, you don’t need to be overly nervous; the Ministry of Magic still has so sha. Even if they have such thoughts, they can’t be too blatant about it; you just need to be a little more cautious."
"What should I do?" Harry asked.
"Try to stay in crowded places or neighborhoods." Kael thought for a mont and said, "That’s the simplest way. As long as there are other people around, you’re safe.
"Or you can carry a cara with you and take pictures of anything strange as evidence for the future.
"But it might be a little cumberso and might delay your escape."
"Thanks, I understand." Harry bowed his head, seriously considering the feasibility of these two thods.
No one noticed that they had already crossed through the barrier and arrived at King’s Cross Station.
Mrs. Weasley was already waiting for them.
"Goodbye, Harry." Kael said, "Rember what I said, stay careful no matter what."
"I got it." Harry said, "By the way, thanks."
"You’re welco."
...
They parted ways in front of the station; Mr. Weasley appeared in front of everyone with a brand-new car.
It was clearly not a car from the Ministry of Magic, so it must have been borrowed from soone else.
Once everyone was seated, the car did a loop on the spot and headed toward Ottery St Catchpole.
