Chapter 490: Chapter 488: All These Are Gifts from My Godfather

Fred and George spent the whole afternoon in the entrance hall?

Upon hearing Harry’s words, Kael imdiately guessed that they were definitely waiting for him there.

Unfortunately, he didn’t go through the main entrance.

"I’m not looking for them." Kael shook his head and said, "Sirius asked

to bring you so things."

"Sirius?" Harry was stunned for a mont, "Has he co to Hogwarts... No, it’s too dangerous, I need to go find him now!"

As he spoke, he was about to run towards the door to the common room.

"No, he hasn’t co." Kael promptly stopped him and said, "Moreover, even if he did co, it’s alright—the Ministry of Magic’s retrial just ended, and he’s now been acquitted."

Harry blinked and then showed a look of elation, excitedly grabbing Kael’s arm and asking, "Really? You’re not lying to ?"

"Why would I lie to you?" Kael said, "It’s sothing that can’t be explained in just a few words, you should read the newspaper... They rushed a reprint this afternoon, so a lot of people should have received it by now."

Harry quickly turned to look at the others, wanting to see who was holding the latest edition of the Daily Prophet, while regretting internally why he hadn’t subscribed himself.

"No need to rush, the owl delivering yours is already on its way."

Kael said, "So you should first accept the things he’s bought for you, don’t let it delay dinner."

He took out the Transfiguration Lizard Skin Bag and began to pull out the items one by one.

A top-tier Wand Maintenance Kit... Gilded Parchnt... rpeople Ink... Fwooper Quill... Dragon Blood... Dragon Liver... Sapphire Star Map... a large barrel of candy... a large barrel of chocolate... Pure Gold Cauldron...

With every item Kael took out, Ron’s mouth twitched a bit.

These are the most expensive things from the shops in Diagon Alley, with outrageous prices, all placed in prominent positions, and he’d previously told Harry that only wealthy fools in Slytherin... like Malfoy, would use such flashy items.

But he never expected these things would one day appear in the Gryffindor common room, and be for Harry...

Especially when the Sapphire Star Map and Pure Gold Cauldron were taken out, Ron felt as if the whole common room brightened significantly.

The dazzling golden light attracted others’ attention, and they gathered around.

Though these items might not surpass the Firebolt Harry received last year in terms of price, they were still very impressive when viewed together.

"That’s all of it." After placing down the last Pure Gold Cauldron, Kael clapped his hands and said.

"These... are all for ?" Harry was a bit bewildered.

"Part of them are." Kael thought for a mont and said, "But for things like stationery and candy-chocolate, Sirius’s intention is for you to share with your friends. He bought a lot, so you clearly can’t use them all by yourself."

This was indeed Sirius’s exact words, as just the ink and Fwooper Quills alone, he bought twenty sets — it would take Harry ten years to use them all.

Unless Harry suddenly developed a love for studying... but that’s unlikely.

Harry hadn’t fully reacted yet, but seeing the eager looks of those around him, he pushed the items forward, "Oh, alright... You can help yourselves."

"Bless you, Potter!"

"Potter is our king!"

Everyone thanked Harry in an exaggerated manner while choosing their favorite quills and candies.

However, items like the star maps and cauldrons, which were singular, remained untouched.

Ron ended up with a red Fwooper Quill, a few sheets of Gilded Parchnt, and a whole handful of candies, grinning widely.

But he felt that he likely wouldn’t need the parchnt, using it just for howork seed almost criminal.

Hermione was much the sa, she carefully tucked the sheets of parchnt into a large book, planning to use them when needed... like writing a letter of advice to the Ministry of Magic.

In the common room, there were about a dozen people, and after everyone had their share, there were still a few quills and bottles of ink and half a barrel of candies remaining.

Harry set them aside, planning to give them later to Ginny and Neville, who weren’t there yet.

While they were dividing the items, Kael was already at the doors of the common room.

The items had been delivered, and if he didn’t leave now, it would beco difficult to leave later; he should let Sirius answer any questions.

After all, this was quite a rare form of interaction.

Kael opened the door and saw soone standing pitifully at the entrance.

"Neville..." Kael asked, "Have you forgotten the password again?"

"No, I know the password, ’Gibberish’..." He extended his arm, revealing a line written on his palm.

"Then why aren’t you coming in."

"The Fat Lady... She’s not here." Neville said sowhat dejectedly, feeling a bitter disappointnt.

First, he couldn’t enter because he forgot the password, now even knowing it doesn’t help... Who can he complain to?

"Uh..." Kael glanced at the empty picture fra and muttered quietly, "Just how long did they beat Phineas up, it’s been so long and she still hasn’t returned..."

"What did you say? I didn’t hear clearly." Neville raised his head and asked.

"Oh, it’s nothing, I was just saying that the Fat Lady probably bounced between the portraits." Kael said as he walked out, "Hurry up and get in; the door might close again soon."

"Th-Thank you..." Neville quickly ran inside.

Once the door closed, he patted his chest gratefully, "Thanks to Kael, otherwise I don’t know how long I’d have been stuck outside... Hmm? Kael?"

Neville suddenly thought of sothing, quickly raised his head, and glanced around.

The gold and red sofas and drapes were the Gryffindor common room from his mory; he hadn’t co to the wrong place.

But isn’t Kael in Hufflepuff? Why did he co from the Gryffindor common room...

"Neville..."

Just as Neville felt completely baffled, he heard soone calling his na.

Harry ran over and asked, "Did you see Kael just now?"

"I did, he was the one who opened the door for ." Neville replied.

"When?"

"Just now, a minute ago."

"Oh... Has he gone back already? I have a lot of questions I want to ask him." Harry sighed in frustration.

"What’s happened?" Neville asked curiously, "Why is Kael here?"

"He ca to deliver so things to ." Harry said, "And you’re right on ti, these are for you."

He casually handed a quill and ink to a bewildered Neville and picked up the large barrel of candies.

"Don’t be shy; take as much as you can. They are all from my godfather."
