Chapter 363: Chapter 361: Fly-Hither, Fly-Thither Charm
Half an hour before the first class, Hermione decided to take Kael’s advice and went to Professor McGonagall.
Kael wasn’t sure if she decided to continue using the Ti Turner or freely choose the classes she wanted to take.
But judging by her deanor, Kael guessed it was likely the forr.
Because when Hermione left, she still appeared quite hesitant, just as she did when she arrived, indicating she had already made up her mind.
Even if she did use the Ti Turner, it’s actually not an issue.
After all, the conditions required to affect anyone outside of one’s own ti are quite stringent. Not to ntion, there is only one such unique Ti Turner in the entire Magic Realm.
Furthermore, it would take a wizard as powerful as Salazar Slytherin to manipulate it from behind the scenes.
Kael shook his head, not lingering on the thought, and turned to climb the stairs to attend this year’s first Charm Class.

In Kael’s opinion, Professor Flitwick’s pace for the Charm Class seed a bit too slow.
The content for the first class of the fourth year was the Summoning Charm, and not to exaggerate, Kael had learned this charm even before attending school.
Also, in the last few months of the first year, Oren ntioned this charm while discussing werewolves and taught them the gesture and incantation.

Approaching, Professor Flitwick said, "You could try marking your quill with a dab of ink, to make it easier to distinguish."
Ryan realized, quickly bowing his head to search for ink.
Then Professor Flitwick turned to Kael.
"I knew you wouldn’t be stumped by this."
In a hushed voice, he said, "So I have a different task for you this class."
"Please tell , Professor."
"Try changing the trajectory of the Summoning Charm, make the quill appear sowhere else."
"For example, like this..."
Professor Flitwick flicked his wand lightly.
The quill on the table imdiately flew up, but instead of moving towards Professor Flitwick, it circled a few tis in front of him, then flew straight into Kael’s hand.
Kael looked at the quill springing up and down in his palm, and asked, "Is this the Summoning Charm?"
"Consider it a different application, it could be called the Summoning Charm with a Twist."
Professor Flitwick said, "Although most people think learning the Summoning Charm is enough, and the rest can be substituted with Levitating Spells, I have always believed there’s a difference."
A trace of nostalgia appeared on his face, "I rember my first ti winning the Duel Tournant, it was by unexpectedly knocking my opponent’s wand away with a stone."

Professor Flitwick was right, there’s indeed a difference; the most significant being that Levitating Spells can’t move living things, but the Summoning Charm can.
"Professor, are the incantations the sa?" Kael eagerly inquired.
This charm is indeed useful, aside from quills and stones, there are many other objects to choose from.
For instance, Chomping Cabbage... Poisonous Tentacles... freshly unearthed Mandrakes still crying loudly.
Fortunately, Kael had all of them.
The only downside to these magical plants is the difficulty in moving them, so usually they’re set as traps in fixed spots.
But learning this charm makes things different.
A small flick of the hand can directly send Chomping Cabbage or Poisonous Tentacles to the opponent, convenient for creating surprises.
Upon hearing Kael’s question, Professor Flitwick shook his head, "No difference, it is the Summoning Charm, so the incantation naturally remains unchanged."
He explained, "What you need to do is find and change the trajectory magic imprint during the object’s flight, trying to extend it elsewhere."
"Give it a try," Professor Flitwick smiled and said, "consider this a small test for you, I rember I wrote about trajectory magic in my third-year notes."
"Yes, it’s on the Pathfinding Spell page." Kael nodded, then took out his wand...
"Quill, co!"
A quill on the distant shelf wobbled over like it was drunk, swaying left and right in the air, sotis circling to the left, sotis retreating a little.
Professor Flitwick watched nervously until the quill finally landed in Kael’s hand, then he nodded contentedly.
"Very well... um, what I an is, this has high requirents for magic power control, failure on the first attempt is normal."
Professor Flitwick cleared his throat and smiled, "But I believe this won’t be too difficult for you; with a few more attempts, you should succeed... Rember, the focus is on altering trajectory magic."

Fortunately, these Exploding Snap cards were entertainnt items, just big noise-makers with no damage.
Nonetheless, the loud noise grabbed everyone’s attention; so were about to succeed with the Summoning Charm, but got startled and dropped the nearly-secured quill.
As for the two instigators, each got deducted ten points, along with double howork assignnts.
