Chapter 670: Chapter 188: Snake-Slayer! The Fall of Malfoy! (Part 4)

"Did they ti travel?"

Ian looked at his own Big Ben, which was clearly operational at that mont, with the clock face pointing to nearly a thousand years ago.

"They went to accomplish their great task. If successful, Dumbledore will be able to solve all troubles upon his return," Nicolas Flal answered ambiguously.

The little wizard was deep in thought.

"Alright, I’ll also keep a closer eye on the situation at school." Ian followed Nicolas Flal out of the office. After watching Nicolas Flal head towards the infirmary, he chose to walk towards the stairs.

The tower with a clear view.

The little wizard gazed out at the distant large lawn.

Only to see.

The first-year students were having their first flying lesson there. As usual, Madam Hooch was teaching the students, but just as she was explaining the key points of flying,

"Whoosh~"

Panicked, Neville didn’t hear the instructions clearly, kicked both legs hard while riding the flying broom, and soared into the sky. His rapid ascent amazed Ian.

"Co down! Child!"

Madam Hooch urgently shouted at Neville.

"I can’t control it!"

His terrified cries echoed in the air.

"Help ! Soone help !"

Perhaps he didn’t rember the process during the lesson, or maybe he was just too nervous. Neville soon couldn’t hold onto the broom, tilted off, and fell from the sky.

"..."

Ian recalled this scene from the story.

However.

Just as he was thousands of ters away, ready to pull out his magic wand to help, Neville, plumting from high above and screaming piercingly, landed on the edge of a distant tower window.

"..."

The little wizard silently lowered the magic wand in his hand.

He saw others had already reacted and pulled out their wands.

For his own reasons.

Ian decided to let other houses take the opportunity for extra points.

"Expelliarmus~"

At this ti, the little witch on the lawn was indeed casting spells, using magic to rescue Neville from the window edge amidst the frightened screams of other little wizards.

"Well done, Miss Granger! An outstanding piece of magic! You saved this child!" Madam Hooch gratefully patted her chest in relief while praising Hermione.

Hermione shyly scratched her head.

anwhile, there he was.

"My hand! My leg! My waist!"

Neville groaned in pain. Mr. Longbottom was not only scared out of his wits, but also suffered significant injuries from the crash, sweat pouring down his pale face due to the pain.

"I need to take this child to the infirmary. His bones are broken, and Madam Pomfrey must help him." Madam Hooch quickly approached to check Neville’s condition.

She nervously picked up Neville. Before leaving, she didn’t forget to give the little wizards a stern glare, "None of you are to touch the flying brooms while I’m gone!"

"If I find out that you didn’t follow my instructions when I return, forget about Quidditch, you’ll all be thrown out of Hogwarts tonight!"

Clearly, she was trying to scare the little wizards.

She couldn’t help it.

The record of many years of teaching without accidents had been broken. Madam Hooch wasn’t just distressed about her career but also anxious and fearful about encountering such a situation for the first ti.

"I reminded her last year."

On the distant tower,

Ian thought Madam Hooch would finally learn a lesson.

This teacher really had so teaching habits that needed to change.

"Oh, child, hold on, don’t faint." Madam Hooch didn’t notice Ian, nor did she seem to recall Ian’s reminder from last year.

She continued to comfort Neville, carrying him as she ran towards the castle.

And just after this flying lesson teacher left,

"Did you see that? That big oaf, he was hilarious." Malfoy eagerly began his mockery, joined by the laughter of so Slytherin freshn around him.

"Shut up, Malfoy."

Hermione couldn’t stand their schadenfreude, so she stood up.

Malfoy’s smile faltered.

"Don’t think that just because Prince is protecting you, you can be so arrogant with us, Miss Granger. I wasn’t targeting you, I was just targeting an idiot, that’s all."

He was clearly sowhat intimidated.

But with many classmates around, he braced himself and retorted.

However, his montum wasn’t as strong as it was just now.

"What are you doing?"

Hermione saw Malfoy walk towards the spot where Neville had fallen.

She thought Malfoy’s smile was rather malicious.

"Just want to play a ga of hide-and-seek with our big oaf." Malfoy picked up a round ball from the grass and showed it off to the new students around him.

"Look, the mory ball that oaf’s grandmother gave him. He forgets things so easily. Let’s see if he even forgets about his mory ball."

As he spoke.

Malfoy mounted the flying broom Madam Hooch had strictly forbidden anyone to touch—he wasn’t afraid of Madam Hooch’s threats, after all, his dad as a school governor could never let him be expelled.

"Give it back! Malfoy! You’re too much!" Hermione scolded Malfoy’s behavior, but Malfoy smoothly rose into the sky on the flying broom.

"You want it? Then co and get it. This is our business; you’d better not go tell Prince." Malfoy proudly showed off the mory ball in his hand to Hermione.
