Chapter 527: Chapter 157: Hobound Train, Wandering Son Far Away_5
"We all know that the Black Demon King you’ve ntioned can no longer make any waves, so for Dumbledore, he just needs to prevent anyone else from becoming the so-called third-generation Black Demon King."
"The best way to defend against threats of Dark Arts is to eliminate the wizards proficient in Dark Arts from the source." Aurora spoke with a calm deanor and an air of eloquence, sowhat preachy in tone.
"?????"
The Little Wizard’s expression was quite spectacular.
The German girl seed to sowhat "understand" Ian’s reading comprehension issues.
"Rember when I told you Dumbledore wants
to supervise you? It’s a similar reasoning." She thoughtfully sumd it up for Ian.
"Yes, exactly, the answer is obvious. Dumbledore believes as long as you don’t have any problems, everyone’s level of Defense Against the Dark Arts will certainly have no issues."
"If you pass your psychological test, we all pass; if you fail... then the problem is big, and I believe he will grant you the harmless processing you often ntioned." Aurora clearly had so misunderstandings about Ian, and also so biases about Albus Dumbledore’s conduct.
Even though following Albus Dumbledore to learn magic, becoming an apprentice to this century’s greatest White Wizard, so views ford from childhood about Albus Dumbledore hadn’t significantly changed.
"You think that as soon as my psychology shows problems, Headmaster Dumbledore would kill ?" Ian widened his eyes, incredulous. Holding the magic to summon "True to Dumbledore," he obviously didn’t think his headmaster would do such a thing, he just felt Aurora’s imagination was quite frightening.
"Otherwise? You still don’t understand our headmaster."
Aurora didn’t directly respond, instead using a thought-provoking tone she asked rhetorically, "Do you think Dumbledore would be rciful when it cos ti to remove you as a threat?"
"I am very sure he wouldn’t even mourn you." Honestly, analyzing from Aurora’s perspective, it wasn’t wrong. After all, from Albus Dumbledore’s early experiences, this headmaster indeed had a decisive side, though this side was hard for Ian to see.
The German girl wasn’t privy to so of the secrets between Ian and Dumbledore.
"With all your reckless analysis, I’m getting sowhat nervous... Luckily, I feel confident my answer sheet has no problems, otherwise I definitely wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight, and I’d bla it on you."
Ian, sowhat apprehensive, patted his chest.
"Looks like you succeeded in cheating."
Aurora closed her notebook—she waved to Ian as she walked toward the direction of the exam room, clearly able to judge when it was about to be her turn.
"Seeing the future is the real cheating."
Ian bid farewell to his good friend, finally stepping onto the staircase and returning to the Room of Requirent. Due to so unexpected circumstances earlier, he needed to quickly make so limited-edition gas masks.
The Slytherin moneyed folk were particularly fond of this.
And while Ian was busy rushing his work.
On the other side.
"Please, co in."
The gentle voice of Albus Dumbledore sounded from the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam room door; Aurora, entering through the door, welcod her Defense Against the Dark Arts class exam.
"Hmm?"
As the door automatically closed, Aurora noticed many things that little wizards did not, including the classroom being set up with a peculiar lamp post emitting a hazy white light.
"That’s a necessary asure to prevent the leaking of exam questions; ti is very tight, so unfortunately, I wasn’t able to prepare different practical exam questions for the little wizards of several grades."
Albus Dumbledore proactively explained Aurora’s doubts.
Aurora was sowhat thoughtful.
"Will it make us lose our mory of the exam?"
She candidly stated her guess.
Upon hearing.
Albus Dumbledore chuckled softly, "It seems the impression you have of
isn’t too good, of course, I would not casually modify the mories of you little wizards."
"This lamp simply ensures that once you leave this classroom, for a while you can’t recall in detail the specific content required to complete this exam."
The old headmaster also frankly explained the lamp post’s function.
"If you don’t like it, I can turn it off, since you won’t affect other little wizards’ exams." Before Aurora could respond, he waved to turn off the lamp post emitting dim white light.
The spacious classroom turned into the sa setup as when Ian had his exam.
"Are you planning to test my Patronus Charm?" Aurora clearly had her guesses and judgnts regarding Albus Dumbledore’s possible "difficulty."
"This magic isn’t urgent; I believe you will eventually complete it, but it still requires so groundwork." Albus Dumbledore’s deep gaze showed no ripples.
"What kind of groundwork? Happy mories?"
Aurora furrowed her brows and began her questioning.
"I think what you lack most is firm conviction." Albus Dumbledore softly responded, not giving Aurora the ti to co up with surprising remarks after pondering.
"Before we start the exam, I hope you can help
with sothing." Saying this, Albus Dumbledore pulled out a test paper from the drawer.
