Chapter 506: Chapter 153: The Chaos of Apotheosis! The Cause of the Turmoil! (Part 4)
"There are claims that wizards are descendants of gods, and others that say gods bestowed magical power upon humans. Regardless of which of these claims is true or if both are false, there is one point that all wizards agree on, which is that there is far too much historical evidence proving the era of gods indeed existed."
Nicolas Flal shook the container in his hand as he spoke eloquently.
"Could they have just been stronger wizards?" Ian’s view differed from most; he truly believed in the traditional view that wizards were gods.
After all, many facts he encountered seed to support this belief.
"You have a very typical alchemist’s mindset, which is good. It will eventually lead you down the path of greatness." Nicolas Flal looked at Ian with evident approval.
Clearly.
He agreed with this perspective.
"Whether these gods were once wizards like you and , in essence, they were lifeforms more powerful than us current wizards. At least in the minds of us alchemists, they wielded power that involved the rules governing the world."
"Even the God of Death has a theory, claiming he was the first person to die in the world and was chosen by the rules to beco the God of Death we all know."
Nicolas Flal spoke while observing the refining efficiency of the black sand.
"Divine grace is powerful, so is divine power, yet the True Creator once told soone that it also belongs to magic, just a version more nonsensical than normal magic."
He had ntioned the True Creator, whom alchemists revered, to Ian more than once, and Ian was genuinely curious whether this True Creator rapped like a mournful wail of gods.
"Perhaps the True Creator is right."
Ian now also enjoyed bringing up this True Creator, whose appearance was unknown to him and possibly to no one, as many of the Creator’s ideas resonated deeply with Ian.
According to Nicolas Flal, this True Creator was a powerful and sowhat juvenile ancient wizard. Ian believed that if this ancient wizard lived now, they would beco close friends.
"Yes, perhaps this is the truth and the reason the Path of Legends was severed." Nicolas Flal sighed, making Ian curious about its connection to the Path of Legends.
He imdiately pursued the question.
Nicolas Flal showed no intention to hide the truth.
He looked deeply at the little wizard standing before him on the path of legends amid the End of the Dharma Era.
"It’s almost impossible to kill all pure-blooded giant dragons, and their gradual extinction, along with other paths to legends disappearing, began when our ancestor rlin and a few like him dared to venture into domains they shouldn’t and found their direction."
"Even though eventually it was probably unsuccessful, it caused a higher level of existence to feel uneasy. Thus, you see the four founders of Hogwarts beca the last legends."
"The Golden Apple Tree was felled, the era of a sole emperor’s feudal dynasty also ended, even the dragons gradually lost the ability to breed pure-blood descendants, forced to continue their lineage through other beings."
"Behind it all... it’s improbable to say there’s no mystery at play." Nicolas Flal didn’t make it explicit, but his aning was clear enough.
This Alchemy Master was clearly saying everything was related to the gods.
Ian contemplated.
He didn’t know how much evidence supported Nicolas Flal’s statents, but he knew the extinction of the Golden Apple Tree shouldn’t have much to do with the gods.
After all.
Teacher Morgan had personally confessed to committing that cri.
"Does the Golden Apple relate to the Path of Legends?" Ian felt Teacher Morgan had certainly concealed so things from him and wondered if he could directly ascend the Path of Legends because he had eaten the Golden Apple.
"The Golden Apple can perform a ritual, it’s the main core of that ritual." Nicolas Flal had clearly gathered quite a bit of information about the Path of Legends over six hundred years.
Understandably so.
After all, like Albus Dumbledore, he was constrained by the era, unable to reach the level of a legendary alchemist, naturally harboring so persistence and yearning in this regard.
Only Albus Dumbledore seed uninterested in legends. Ian thought of this and couldn’t help but look toward the corner, worried that the absent Albus Dumbledore was hiding there.
Probably to minimize the impact on the tiline, Ian, like the other professors, hadn’t seen this Headmaster of Hogwarts for many days.
Heaven knows he had developed the "Clone Technique" to multiple layers... If Albus Dumbledore wanted to hide, almost no one could decipher his Illusionary Body Spell.
"Establishing a feudal dynasty is also possible?" For the first ti, Ian heard this thod of treading the Path of Legends, which made him recall so long-buried mories from his past life.
Facing the little wizard’s question.
Nicolas Flal didn’t directly answer.
"Can you guess why every civilization, the Muggles, and we all have faith in deities?" He rely hinted to Ian about the end goal of this Path of Legends.
This perspective might also originate from an attempt during rlin’s era.
