Chapter 486: Chapter 150: Triple Shock! The Tomb of King Arthur!

Where did such a large chunk co from!? Nicolas Flal approached and touched the inscription on it, and the alchemy system, identical to the High Tower Magic Rune system brought out by Ian, made him sigh.

"There’s a reason Albus likes you so much, you two are so alike, always finding ways to toss such troubleso things at ."

Nicolas Flal shook his head helplessly, turned around, and wobbled over to a cabinet. After rummaging through it with much noise, he finally pulled out an instrunt from the seemingly bottomless cabinet.

"What is this?"

Ian was intrigued by the strange appearance of the instrunt. This peculiar device was as large as a computer, with its shell made from a rare magic alloy. The surface was covered with intricate hollow carvings, which shimred mystically under the dim light, as if each line contained ancient magic spells.

The entire structure was filled with alchemy formulas that Ian found difficult to decipher. At one corner of the device was embedded a multi-faceted crystal, clear as though it captured the starlight in a gemstone. The only conclusion Ian could draw was that the gemstone was not only the core of the device but also the key to activating its functions.

"I nad it the Secret-Peeping Prism Box." Nicolas Flal struggled a bit while moving the instrunt. Ian wanted to help, but Nicolas Flal avoided him.

He clearly didn’t want to admit to feeling old.

"Can this thing analyze those alchemy creations with unknown effects?" Ian pondered over the na of the device and asked uncertainly.

"Yes, that’s right, while we may not understand the individual anings of these Magic Runes, we can use the thods of our era to analyze the operating principles of these ancient creations."

"After all, most things in this world share commonalities, and Magic Runes are no exception. The Creator didn’t leave any completely different and contradictory rules in our world."

Nicolas Flal began pulling out a bunch of long cables from the [Secret-Peeping Prism Box], clearly inspired by Muggle technology. A talented Alchemist wouldn’t reject any knowledge that could provide convenience. As Nicolas Flal slowly moved, cable after cable connected to the broken Big Ben.

"Can even broken creations be analyzed?" Ian acknowledged that his alchemy skills might still be lacking, surprised by the operating principles that Nicolas Flal described.

"You underestimate , little fellow." Nicolas Flal chuckled lightly, his implication clear. It took him over ten minutes to connect all the cables to Big Ben.

"Step back a bit."

Supporting his back with one hand, bending down to prepare to start the instrunt, Nicolas Flal reminded Ian, causing the Little Wizard to nervously swallow and step back to the edge of the bridge, pulling out his magic wand to create an Explosive Shield for himself.

Yet.

Nicolas Flal’s response left him speechless.

"No, I just fear your hands are too quick and you might swipe the core of my device... I suspect you’ve nearly emptied out the tomb you found."

Nicolas Flal’s cautious vigilance left the Little Wizard unsure of how to respond.

"..."

Ian was just about to say that he doesn’t take items that belong to others when he saw Nicolas Flal adjust the prism, and the next mont, the [Secret-Peeping Prism Box] began to shine with a rainbow of colors.

Red like fire, blue like the deep sea, green like forests, yellow like sunlight, purple with void, silver with moonlight, black hidden in shadow... the suddenly radiant gemstone was fixed in an invisible axis, slowly and steadily rotating, with bursts of splendid light intersecting within the device.

Ian still couldn’t understand the working principle of this device, but he began to comprehend Nicolas Flal’s caution, as the glowing gemstone indeed seed dazzling.

Exceptionally precious.

The rainbow light instantly coalesced into a brilliant beam, shooting straight at the Big Ben placed in the center of the office, peering into the essence of this Big Ben.

Ti gradually passed.

So obscure characters began to appear on the [Secret-Peeping Prism Box], not Magic Runes, but a strange script that even Ian, a Master of Language, could not identify.

"How’s that, can’t understand it, huh? This is a language I created myself, only I can understand it." Nicolas Flal proudly boasted to the Little Wizard as he stepped forward to decipher it.

People who have lived as long as he has often enjoy tinkering with things incomprehensible to ordinary people. Creating a language was sothing Ian had only seen in an Arican TV show "The Big Bang Theory" before he crossed over. It ntioned how the creator and fans of a spin-off referenced other languages to create their own.

Indeed.

Nicolas Flal seed to be far superior, as his self-created language referenced no existing script, sothing Ian, who had mastered most of Earth’s languages, was quite sure of.

[Language Mastery (Level 7): 534/6400]

Looking at Ian’s skill level, it’s clear how many languages he’s learned, and as soone who dedicates so ti every day to learning various languages, he certainly had the credentials to speak on the subject.
