Chapter 343: Chapter 125: Riding the Giant Dragon, the King’s Edge (Part 5)

This might be the self-esteem of a wizard who strives all his life, even if he’s willing to admit his alchemy skills are lacking, he wouldn’t want to admit that his Magic Power is insufficient.

"If you want to make the teacher your Patronus, you must first beco a Legend yourself." Morgan said with a playful smile, taking off the Ring of Patronus and tossing it back to Ian.

The Little Wizard quickly caught the treasure he had painstakingly made.

"What about it?"

Ian looked at the Dragon that had been overturned and tied up, looking as if half its head had been nearly torn off. Nicolas, who almost lost his head, would probably say that this Dragon is indeed skilled.

"But that also requires your Magic to reach the limit of a Wizard." The Legendary Witch’s answer made Ian feel as if he had instantly aged eighteen years, and the Little Wizard’s face was filled with a disappointed and distressed expression.

"Actually, the Dragon Patronus isn’t that cool. Even a Pure-blooded Giant Dragon would probably be just that... Big doesn’t necessarily an strong." He seed to be comforting himself, or perhaps hypnotizing.

"You said you’ve seen the bones of this Dragon before, right?"

Suddenly.

Witch Morgan’s unexpected inquiry rang out.

"Yes, it’s lying beneath our school, only bones remain." Ian quickly raised his head, and sure enough, Witch Morgan was tearing her own dress again.

"You learned Soul Stealing from your senior sister. I said that was just her narrow understanding. The knowledge she acquired was originally ant to explore the Domain of the soul."

"Its advanced magic is what I call Soul Capturing and Exorcism. If you can thoroughly understand this page of knowledge, then combine it with your often-flaunted Imperio, perhaps you can achieve a result that pleases you more than the Dragon Patronus." Witch Morgan once again handed over the fragnts of her dress to Ian.

She clearly had long since discerned the Little Wizard’s interests and hobbies.

"Praise you! My dear teacher! You are the greatest Wizard!" Just monts ago, Ian, who was saying that big doesn’t necessarily an strong, was now overflowing with joy in his eyes.

"Big doesn’t an strong! Because it represents ultimate strength!"

Holding the fragnts of Morgan’s dress.

The Little Wizard demonstrated a face-changing speed not any slower than his teacher’s.

...

The town’s sky was entirely different from that near the castle.

Sunlight pierced through the thin fog like fine threads, gently falling on the ancient stone roads. In the nearly eternal age within the Misty Illusion Realm, it draped a faint golden glow over this peaceful place.

This place was surrounded by distant mountains, peaks looking even more majestic and magnificent under the morning light. The air, mixed with faint floral and earthy scents, was simply refreshing and calming.

Amidst this picturesque scenery, flowers blossod in the town, vibrant and colorful. Smoke curled upwards, and before their hos, a young girl was under the supervision of a young man, engaging in her indispensable daily Swordsmanship practice.

"Pandro, we’ve even defeated the evil Dragon. Can’t we rest for a couple of days?" The girl’s long hair gently swayed with the wind. As she spoke, she continued to practice her sword moves fluently and powerfully, as though they were second nature, with each swing marking a subtle sound as the sword tip cut through the air.

Ti in the Misty Illusion Realm flows differently from the mortal world. No one knows how many days of practice it took to hone a complete Swordsmanship novice into the gallant figure she is now.

"Ariana, in Swordsmanship, effort always equals reward." The young man stood aside with his hands on his hips, his eyes following her every movent closely.

"You said defeating the Dragon could save the princess and earn treasure, yet there wasn’t even a single fruit in that Dragon’s lair," the girl sighed, yet her practice continued uninterrupted.

"Uh, I rember in similar situations before, there were always princesses and Gold Coins," the young man scratched his nose, his expression showing a bit of awkwardness and embarrassnt. However, this emotion did not last long, for his face soon bore a sly smile, "So, are you satisfied with slaying just one Dragon?"

"Don’t you want to slay creatures even mightier than the Dragon?"

Clearly.

The temptation offered by the young man did not ignite the girl’s excitent.

"But the Dragon we defeated was colossal. I’ve never heard of a Dragon so large. It must have been an extrely powerful Fantastic Beast when alive." During a break, the girl expressed her amazent.

"There are indeed many beings stronger than such Dragons. I wish for you to set your sights higher, towards myths and Legends!"

The young man’s voice carried a sense of grandeur and inspiration.

"So, is it you I should slay?"

The girl blinked.

Her tone finally showed a hint of keen interest.

"..."

The young man opened his mouth wordlessly, glancing at the Longsword placed beside the girl. He then looked up into the distance, where his eyes reflected the image of a gloomy castle.

"Looks like today is the day!"

Suddenly.

The young man walked in front of the girl.

"Would you mind kneeling? Just one knee would be enough?"

He awkwardly asked, leaving the girl bewildered.

"What are you going to do?"

Despite her bewildered expression, the girl put down her water cup and complied—straightforward Ariana knelt on one knee before Pandro.

"Although I don’t know Magic, I can do so other things." Pandro placed his hand on Ariana’s forehead, his voice turning sowhat serious.

"I will bless you, Ariana. I will allow you to wield my blade and break through all obstacles in your way." Pandro pondered for a mont, as though contemplating sothing.

Finally.

This young man seemingly made a decision.

"Spellbreaker Ariana, don’t you think the title I’ve given you is incredibly impressive?" He finished with a smug declaration before retracting his hand.

There was no brilliant light, no wondrous events. The wind and clouds around remained gentle, yet when his hand left Ariana’s forehead, an imprint appeared briefly before vanishing.

Much like how Ariana once gifted Ian a token.

She also received a gift from a friend.
