Chapter 992
Up ahead, several people were clustered together.
Anders Spence glanced over, his eyebrows suddenly furrowing: "It’s my sister and my parents!"
"What’s wrong?"
"Forgot? My sister made a scene on television a few weeks ago. The Collinses have been waiting for her to co and apologize. My parents have been convincing her, and they brought her here today."
Upon hearing this, Cherry hastened her steps and walked over.
When the two arrived in front of the crowd, they just happened to see Sophia Spence standing in front of Chloe Collins, apologizing with her head bowed.
While Tristan Collins was sitting nearby.
He was quietly looking at Chloe Collins, his eyes seed to harbor countless unspoken thoughts.
After apologizing, Sophia Spence turned and walked away without waiting for Chloe to respond.
Her mother imdiately intervened, primarily speaking to Tristan: "Children aren’t sensible, we’ve had her reflecting at ho every day for weeks. Tristan, we hope you will forgive her."
Tristan snorted coldly, not responding imdiately.
After leaving them hanging for five seconds, he finally spoke leisurely: "Sit down."
The couple promptly sat down next to Tristan and started discussing business.
They knew they wouldn’t get through this without paying for Tristan’s ti and attention.
Anders sighed, feeling embarrassed.
He turned to look at Chloe Collins, only to see an empty rocking chair.
When did she leave?
Finding the situation dull, Cherry dragged him away.
Not long after they left, Raine Nolan, who had just been excused from the elders, ca rushing over, looking around.
Not seeing the two, she asked the people who were there.
"Them? They went in that direction, not long ago."
Raine glanced towards the direction of the sports field, which was quite peaceful. She happily went over, excited that Cherry was being more receptive.
Following the cobblestone path, she abruptly stopped at the small garden at the entrance of the sports field, quickly hid behind a landscape rock and then slowly peeked out to see the scene not too far away-
Anders Spence and Cherry Foster were hugging and kissing, their shadows entwined.
Perhaps Anders was too eager and had bitten Cherry, causing her to whimper lightly and slap him gently.
Anders quickly apologized: "Sorry, I’ll be gentler."
He bowed his head and kissed her again.
Raine Nolan stared blankly at their kissing, unaware that her good mood had disappeared.
She looked down and saw her hand unconsciously clenched into a fist. Startled, she loosened her grip, turned, and ran away.
Her mind was in turmoil as she couldn’t shake off the scene she had just witnessed.
She found it strange. Cherry and Anders have been close since childhood. Since she got to know them, it has been taken for granted that they are a couple.
Kissing and hugging are the norms for them.
But why does she feel a chill down her spine, feeling uncomfortable at the sight of it?
What does this have to do with her?
She had felt the sa before, when she visited Anders at his place to nd her relationship with Cherry, seeking his help.
At that ti, Anders treated her coldly, exactly like Cherry did.
It was that very night, as she watched Anders’ aloof figure, she felt this icy feeling in her heart.
She felt extrely irritated and ran even faster.
The focus shifted back to Anders and Cherry.
Upon hearing the noise, they let go of each other, walked to the bifurcation and saw Raine’s retreating figure in the distance.
"What’s wrong with her?" Cherry frowned.
