Chapter 990
A fleeting sense of resentnt and helplessness flickered in Tristan Collins’s eyes. "She’s with her mother," he said.
"I doubt it," retorted Rosalind Taylor.
An impulsive thought sprang to her lips, "Do you rember BDR-2?"
Tristan’s eyes flickered, his face growing progressively serious, "What are you trying to say? Does she have any relation to that thing?"
As the Collinses were one of the investors in the experint that year, Tristan, as the head of the family, was inford about the matter.
Seeing his anxiety, Rosalind felt a montary sense of satisfaction, "My sister asked to keep it from you. There are so things I haven’t told you."
"Speak!"
Rosalind glared at him, gritting her teeth, "When my sister was pregnant with her, she had a falling out with Emma Foster. Emma drugged her with BDR-2, a drug rumored to have the capacity to destroy the world at that ti."
"My sister, she died from the side effects of that drug. She didn’t die from so strange illness."
Her tone was chilly, "Look at how that child behaves. It’s similar to a monkey, smart but riddled with various negative effects as it ages. Death is inevitable, this is inescapable! If the Collins family is left to her, it will definitely fall into the hands of outsiders."
Seeing Tristan’s remorseful eyes, she broke out into surprised laughter, her gaze gleaming with satisfaction.
"Emma Foster!" he spat out angrily, his eyes seemingly filled with the desire to destroy the world.
This look not only filled Rosalind with envy but also so satisfaction.
What good is regret now? The person is gone.
"Your sister is gone and Emma is also gone, you don’t even know who to hate."

Three weeks later.
The selection for the training squad was over, and the final results were out.
Chloe Collins was chosen for the team with the highest score.
Wanda Wesley was not in her normal spirits recently, and her performance in the exam was below par. She managed to secure the last place with a third ranking.
The second place went to Raine Nolan, who had been studying hard day and night for the last few weeks.
As soon as she saw the results, she let out a sigh of relief.
Although Chloe Collins was still ahead of her, at least she made it. Her ti in the training squad was not wasted.
All the representatives were from the Capitol University Affiliated High School. This was a first.
Other students might not be satisfied, but they had no choice. They returned ho on the following day to prepare for the upcoming College Entrance Exam to be held after two months.
The day before the departure fell on a Saturday. Evelyn Thompson was happily hosting a celebratory banquet at ho for everyone.
Unfortunately, Alexander Foster was away on a business trip in another city and couldn’t make it back in ti.
Many friends and family were invited to the banquet, including the Collinses and the Spences.
Tristan Collins and his wife attended.
One of the reasons Tristan Collins ca tonight was to have the Spences apologize personally for what Sophia Spence had done previously to save his face.
Rosalind Taylor knew that more argunts would be futile, so she didn’t try to persuade him.
Moreover, ever since she revealed the secret that night, Tristan seed to have been planning sothing.
Now that he’s here, he seems to look at Chloe Collins differently.
Feeling uncomfortable, she went to the West Wing to chat with Cherry Foster’s mother. Over there, she felt more relaxed.
In the anti, Chloe Collins was sitting comfortably on a rocking chair, her lazy eyes fleetingly glancing at Rosalind who rushed out of the East Wing Gate, lost in thought.
The day before they set out for Goldasia on a mission, Rosalind had sent soone to follow her, only to be stopped by the dical staff.
Up until this point, she still did not know why Rosalind wanted to tail her.
There seed to be no more action after that.
The phone in her pocket vibrated. She picked it up to check.
[Heijii: Boss, check your email. I’ve sent the results collected over these few months, we can probably wrap it up in another month or two.]
