Chapter 901
On hearing this, Chloe Collins said, "Really?"
Full of pride, Devin Lewis said, "Absolutely. Our robots are mainly employed in production, enhancing efficiency and reducing labor costs. The results have been significant over the recent years. Blue Power Enterprise just has good advertising."
He resud the previous topic, turned towards the holographic projection screen, and explained, "We just tried to trace the operator backwards and roughly located it in this area."
He slowly expanded the location on the screen, afterward coordinate information appeared above it.
"They’re clever. As soon as our signal touched them, they imdiately sent out interrupting signals in four directions to buy ti to escape. But we managed to sort it out anyway," he said with a self-satisfied look.
Alexander Foster saw Chloe Collins deep in thought and asked, "Do you recognize this place?"
Chloe Collins replied, "This is about eight hundred ters away from the scene of the case. We were careless. We were only focused on chasing No. 13 and forgot to look there."
"According to Heijii, No. 13’s accomplices should have separated from them here, and the operator of this robot’s signal is also around here. They must be from the sa group."
She felt a slight chill inside. The mont she and Alex made eye contact, they both understood.
Alex said, "Two groups of people with different intentions can’t possibly be together. Therefore, there is only one possibility."
Chloe continued solemnly, "The experintal subjects have been captured."
Alex: "Don’t panic. I’ll send people to look for them right now."
He took out his phone and made a call. Soon, a search was underway in that area.
Chloe sighed. She felt a sense of regret.
Still, they were one step behind.
And late by an instant!
The feeling of almost succeeding was tornting.
Alex walked her out of the R&D room, made her sit down, then went to make her a cup of milk so she could sleep.
When he brought the milk back, Chloe Collins was gone.
Outside, he saw sothing that made him frown —
Snowflakes were gently falling from the sky. In the cold courtyard, Chloe was lying on a rope strung between two trees, staring blankly at the night sky. She lay there, steady as a rock; one leg curved, head resting on her arm, her weight supported by just the thin rope. She looked comfortable, without any fear of falling.
Alex approached her. Seeing her deep in thought, he said, "Take it easy, have this drink and get so rest."
Chloe Collins glanced at his milk and asked, "What did you all say in the room just now?"
With a smile, Alex asked, "Were you thinking about that the whole ti?"
Chloe: "Of course not."
Alex handed her the milk: "Drink this, and I’ll tell you."
Chloe glanced at the cup of milk and jumped down from the rope.
The mont she landed, Alex subconsciously stretched out his hand to prevent her from falling.
She didn’t dawdle, took the milk, and drank it all.
Alex had a gentle look in his eyes and said, "Slow down."
Chloe turned the cup upside down and said, "It’s finished. You can tell now."
Alex smiled, lowered his head, and whispered sothing in her ear.
Instantly, Chloe Collins’ face turned red.
