Chapter 840

Madam turned back to look at the screen.

"Oh dear, I died! It’s all your fault, little girl! This was the best ga I ever played, and you spoiled it for !"

Chloe Collins was jostled by her.

Then she took over: I’ll play it for you.

Madam was so upset that she went to take a bath.

She returned more than an hour later.

No one else was at the computer desk.

"That mute girl."

Madam muttered to herself as she approached, her eyes wide with shock when she looked at her own account level in the ga.

Then, she smiled.

The next day, Chloe didn’t go to the Desolate Valley because the night class had sothing she was interested in.

She didn’t go on the second day either.

On the afternoon of the third day, a person wearing a blue belt ca to her doorstep, saying that Madam urgently needed to see her.

When she arrived, she found out that she was needed to play ranked matches for her.

And then it was to accompany her in sword training.

Chloe was interested in her subtraction technique, so she visited three days in a row.

Madam handed her a book to read, then demonstrated a few moves herself, making her fill in the missing parts.

If she made a mistake, she would have to practice the move thirty tis on her own.

Chloe wasn’t foolish. She knew that Madam was deliberately nurturing her. No matter what the old lady’s motives were, she appreciated the opportunity.

She had dinner there every day. After dinner, she washed the dishes for Madam.

After a week of this, the date for the rating assessnt was nearing.

Newcors who didn’t pass the first-ti assessnt couldn’t decide when to retake it like others. They had to wait at least two weeks before they could continue with the assessnt.

Chloe and Heijii had agreed to go for the assessnts the next day.

If they could achieve Level C in one attempt, they would then have a chance to take on assignnts.

While picking her teeth, Madam remarked, "No one has co to test the Desolate Valley in my place for a year. The young people these days are so inferior."

She was full of criticisms.

Then, coming up with an interesting proposal, she said, "Mute girl, do you want to run all the way here in one breath?"

Chloe: It depends on my capability.

She was able to speak now, but her voice was coarse and unpleasant, so she preferred to stay quiet.

Madam showed a aningful smile, "I have a thod that would allow you to reach here in one breath."

Chloe remained silent, looking at her.

"My good boy was able to make it here in one breath during his first assessnt. After making it here, he could continue further, all the way to S level!"

While saying this, she pulled out a bottle of Chili Sauce, "Give this to my good boy. He has a poor appetite. This is to whet his appetite. Tell him that I’ve asked him to share his experience with you. Go, after you’re done learning, write a 200-word summary."

"Hurry, he’ll be gone in a few days and you won’t have this opportunity anymore!"

Upon ntioning Bennett White, Chloe’s curiosity was aroused.

She picked up the large bottle of chili sauce and headed for the Second Courtyard.

Her entry still attracted the attention of many people. Their discussions included the affair of Madam beating the Cold Lizard to a pulp that night.

Everyone blad her for that incident.

She ignored them, quickly making her way to Bennett White’s front door.

It was different this ti. Several people were guarding the main gate, not letting her in.

"The Leader is inside, those unrelated, leave imdiately!"

The deanor of the gatekeepers was completely different from Cold Lizard’s n. They had an air of strict impartiality emanating from them.

Leader.

In the structure of the Dark Alliance, the Leader stood below the Alliance Leader and above the thousands of others. Normally, the Leader wouldn’t co to the branches.

No wonder there was such a grand display.

Watching her being chased away, those who had been watching the drama from afar laughed.
