Chapter 739

The cave was pitch black, and the further she went inside, the less she could see.

When she stopped, all she could see in front of her were the vague outlines of human figures, barely discernible.

For a mont, her eyes went slightly out of focus, but the faint surprise soon faded into calmness, as if she had already expected this.

In the dim light, a slender figure stood in the darkness, seemingly wearing a single piece of clothing, her feet bare, her body very thin which made the clothes look overly large on her.

Next to her, there seed to be two people lying down, but upon closer inspection, there was only one person; the other "person" was limp on the ground, lifeless.

At this mont, Chloe Collins looked at the slender figure without speaking imdiately.

Similarly, the thin figure was also looking at her.

After a while, she spoke up: "Do you need help?"

Wanda Wesley looked at Robert Foster and said, "He’s fine, just sleeping."

"And you?"

"You knew all along." Wanda’s voice ca.

Chloe turned on the light on her ring, illuminating the interior.

Robert Foster was lying on the ground, unconscious.

Next to him stood a girl, her skin very fair, her legs long and slender, without an ounce of extra fat, her waist even thinner, delicate to hold, her black hair fell to her chest, her face a standard lon seed-shaped, petite and delicate, her features clear and beautiful, a standard beauty.

Her most prominent feature was her whiteness, like snow.

This appearance matched up with Edward Turner’s little sister Wandy perfectly.

Chloe slowly walked over and said, "At first, I wasn’t sure, so I went to Orlando and talked to the doctor who treated you last ti, and basically confird it."

Wanda looked at the human-skin suit she had worn for years on the ground and asked slowly, "Did Edward Turner tell you everything?"

"Yes."

"Who are you?" Wanda asked calmly.

"I’m not much different from you, an experint subject of BDR."

Wanda showed a surprised expression: "The sa as ?"

Chloe was surprised by her reaction: "Do you not know about your own situation?"

"You suddenly beca incredibly strong and could walk on walls, didn’t you ever doubt yourself?"

Wanda looked down, her expression silent.

Chloe said, "You didn’t doubt yourself, you just didn’t want to believe that your foster father would secretly use you for experints, did you?"

Wanda didn’t say anything, her lips pursed.

Afterward, she said, "What about you, aren’t you Joy Taylor’s daughter? Her status is very high, why would she let you take risks?"

"I was frad." Chloe’s words were concise.

Wanda squatted down, her eyes full of love for Robert Foster as she adjusted his clothes.

"Do you know what’s wrong with him?"

"You can ask him when he wakes up."

Wanda rembered the scene of Robert Foster convulsing during the car ride just now, her heart still hanging in uncertainty.

After a while, she said again, "Today is the day my foster father and I agreed to. He said that on this day, he would co back to see , and that no matter what news I heard, I should not believe it and always believe that he is still alive, waiting for him to return. So every year on this day, I’ve been waiting."

She picked up the skin suit and said, "In order to protect what he’s given , I ca up with this thod. Only by doing this can I sleep well; otherwise, I’m always worried that soone would steal it during the night. It’s actually very convenient; I can put a lot of things in it. The dicine I gave Robert Foster earlier was hidden inside."
