Chapter 688
So, Miles White’s boyfriend is Robert Foster’s brother.
Shelby Hamilton felt quite resentful.
Her mood at this mont was even more sour than when she heard about the scandal between Edward Turner and Miles White.
She returned to her room in frustration and closed the door with a bang.
At this ti, there was no one downstairs.
Alexander Foster had already let Maurice Willis go to rest and didn’t plan to call him out.
Fortunately, the kitchen had grilled at ingredients. The at and vegetables were all ready, and all they needed was to be put on the grill.
He prepared all the ingredients and brought them to the second floor.
About ten minutes later, the aroma of grilled at continually wafted out from a window on the second floor.
Alex placed the marinated at piece by piece on the grill, sizzling as it cooked.
Aside from this, he also added onions, green peppers, carrots, and king trumpet mushrooms.
"If you don’t want to eat it, put it in my bowl. I’ll eat it later." He said.
Chloe Collins was eating the hot, tender and fragrant at, unable to focus on anything else. After hearing this, she obediently nodded.
Alex rarely saw Miss Collins so obedient, and he couldn’t help but want to pinch her cheek.
"Don’t move, there’s dirt," he said.
As he spoke, he reached out and scraped the corner of her mouth.
Chloe cooperated by staying still, her eyes fixed on the piece of at about to be scorched, revealing her eagerness.
As soon as his hand moved away, she picked up the at.
"Here you go," she put it in Alex’s bowl.
Then, she added all the onions to his bowl as well.
"Don’t you like onions?"
"No, I just want you to try this combination. It’s good. Or do you want to try it with carrots?"
Alex silently picked up his chopsticks and took a bite of the grilled at with onions.
"How is it?" Chloe stared at him.
Alex looked at her and chewed a few tis. "Not good."
Chloe: "Huh?"
He smiled, "Just kidding."
Chloe grumbled "childish" and continued to add vegetables to the plate.
She didn’t eat much for dinner, so her appetite was perfect now.
"Oh, do you have any wine?"
Alex hadn’t brought any wine upstairs. "Did you forget what you did last ti you drank?"
He still thought it was crazy even now.
The light show was one of the most touching surprises in his life.
Chloe paused.
When she brought up the last ti she drank, she rembered what Theodore Collins told her: she took the initiative and kissed Alex’s lips.
In her mory, there was a blurry scene where she suddenly tiptoed and approached Alex.
So, Theodore’s words had a high degree of credibility.
"Then, I won’t drink," she said.
Alex lifted his lips and put the freshly roasted beef into her plate, "Eat more."
The aroma of the oily grilled at made its way through the door to Robert Foster’s nose across the hallway.
At this ti, he was lying on the floor watching a movie.
He took off his headset after slling the aroma.
He wanted to talk to Wanda Wesley, but considering they had turned off the lights more than ten minutes ago and she must be asleep, he held back his urge to speak.
But the tempting aroma was too irresistible, making his stomach grumble.
The sound of his growling stomach stirred the person on the bed.
It was then that Robert realized Wanda Wesley was not asleep.
"Wanda?"
Wanda, who had been lying with her eyes open, quickly sat up when she heard him.
Robert turned on the light and looked at her, suddenly finding it strange. "Your face is so red, why is it so red?"
In his mory, it seed that every ti he saw Wanda, her face was red.
He didn’t know that not only was Wanda’s face red, but her heartbeat was also exceptionally fast.
This was her first ti sharing a room with a guy, and she was very nervous.
She pulled the covers over half of her face and said, "I blush easily. It’s nothing."
