Chapter 663

This was different from the script, and everyone on the scene was dumbfounded.

Even the director looked confused.

But he didn’t call for a halt.

The other staff mbers glanced at him, and he made a gesture for them to continue.

Everyone understood the director’s intentions, so the other guests continued to cooperate, clapping and saying things like "the strongest combination."

That’s because, in the previous round of the competition, although Shelby Hamilton’s team ranked first overall, she only ca second among all guests on her own.

The woman who chose Robert Foster now was called gan Harding, who ranked first in the individual competition in the previous round.

And since Robert Foster was the strongest participant in the amateur competition, soone ntioned the "strongest combination."

These words enraged Shelby Hamilton.

She was about to question the director for not following the script when she suddenly saw Wanda Wesley and the tall girl next to her holding up their phones to record them.

The anger lodged in her throat, her eyes wide, but she dared not lash out.

She fully understood that if she dared to question the director, Wanda would have the guts to post the video online.

By then, news of her acting like a big shot would be flying all over the place!

With this thought in mind, Shelby Hamilton restrained her anger and remained silent.

The cara perfectly captured her changing expressions.

Having "her person" taken away and reacting like this was exactly the effect the production team wanted.

Once post-production added so subtitles, it would be easy to create a sense of conflict and interest for the viewer.

Seeing that she had cald down, Chloe Collins put away her phone.

Soon, this ga ended, and everyone was assigned to a group.

The combination of Shelby Hamilton and Robert Foster was disbanded, and she was instead paired with a new amateur female participant.

This girl was from gan Harding’s company, a newcor, and they were planning to give her a big push.

Her na was Dora Lucas, and she was very clever. As soon as she joined Shelby Hamilton’s side, she sweet-talked her way into Shelby’s good graces, at least temporarily.

Even so, after this round of filming ended, Shelby Hamilton still confronted the director about gan Harding’s sudden departure from the script.

At the ti, Chloe Collins was sitting on a nearby bench, watching the competition video, and sucking on a lollipop.

Due to the lollipop, she had temporarily pulled her face mask down to her chin.

But with people coming and going and everyone busy with the relocation, plus her large hat brim covering most of her face, no one noticed her for a while.

Even Shelby Hamilton passed by her twice without noticing her.

Shelby Hamilton stood in front of the director, her face cold.

She glanced around and, after not seeing Wanda Wesley, asked directly, "Director, didn’t we agree to follow the script for the grouping? Are you trying to play gas with now?"

The director shrugged, "You misunderstand ; this was not arranged by , but gan Harding’s spontaneous decision."

Shelby Hamilton refused to accept it, "Since it was her spontaneous decision, you should have stopped her imdiately!"

The director laughed, trying to ease the awkwardness, "Isn’t it good like this? It’s a fresh new arrangent, and she chose her partner within the rules. I can’t fault her, so why would I stop her? Besides, Shelby, wouldn’t you get tired of appearing with the sa partner in every episode, not to ntion the audience?"

Shelby Hamilton’s face remained cold, "Don’t bother trying to change the subject; for the rest of the filming, I will only work with Robert Foster. If it’s not like that, I won’t continue today’s shoot!"

The director’s smile disappeared.
