Chapter 594

He quickly averted his gaze, walked to a suitable distance, and said, "Heng’er."

The chatter and laughter suddenly stopped.

Several people looked over at them simultaneously.

Theodore only glanced at him before turning away, holding the boorang in his hands, seemingly studying it very seriously, but it was unclear what he was studying.

The man and woman beside Theodore exchanged glances, walked up the corridor on cue, said sothing to the old man, and then left.

Tristan did not look at them; instead, he walked over to Theodore and examined his clothes.

His clothes appeared to be very new, probably just bought.

There was a Band-Aid on his forehead, and it seed that the corner of his mouth had also been injured.

"How did you get hurt?" Tristan asked in a deep voice.

Theodore looked irritated.

After a while, he looked up and said, "I was almost captured by so criminals and sold away. My sister went to save ."

Tristan was shocked: "What?!"

He had always thought that Theodore was just being naughty, never expecting such a thing to happen.

He couldn’t help but look towards Chloe in the distance.

Theodore added, "If it weren’t for my sister, I’d have been on a ship out to sea by now, and you would never have found ."

"Yesterday, I clearly told you to be with us. When I disappeared, why didn’t you co looking for ?"

Tristan couldn’t answer a single question. His thin lips were tightly pressed together, and there seed to be anger in his eyes, but it was not directed at Theodore.

Theodore threw the boorang out and said, "You’re a terrible father. I don’t want to see you."

As soon as he finished speaking, the boorang returned to his hand, and he ran towards Chloe.

Chloe didn’t even glance over and just walked away with him.

Tristan stared at their retreating figures, his feet as if weighed down with lead, unable to move.

Rosalind stood several ters behind him, having heard everything.

"Husband..."

Tristan’s eyes suddenly darkened, and he turned to question her, "I told you to send soone to protect them yesterday. Why didn’t you do it!"

Rosalind lowered her eyes guiltily, "I’m sorry; I forgot."

"You forgot?"

His clenched hand was about to rise, but considering the consequences, he reluctantly let go.

"If you still want to be a proper Mrs. Collins, find a way to treat my son well and treat him as if he were your own. Otherwise..."

He gritted his teeth, unable to finish the sentence.

Rosalind’s heart was bitter and sad.

After accompanying him for so many years, she was actually inferior to Theodore.

On top of that, she was pregnant with a child.

Still furious, Tristan shouted, "If this happens again, after you give birth to this child, just get the hell out of the Collinses!"

Rosalind cried out in fright, "I won’t dare again... I won’t dare again..."

Raine couldn’t bear to see her mother being yelled at, so she stepped forward to shield her but didn’t dare to talk back.

Tristan snorted coldly, and said, "Take Heng’er back. Or else, you don’t have to co back!"

Having said that, he turned around and left, his face dark and terrible, resembling the King of Hell.

Looking at his ruthless back, Raine complained, "Why is he treating you like this? It’s not as if you were the one who sold Theodore. It was Theodore who ran out on his own!"

Rosalind sneered, "No, he’s not your father. This man only cares about blood ties, not feelings!"

Raine bit her lip, "What are we going to do now? Are we really going to beg Theodore to co back?"

Rosalind looked at her, slowly suppressing her emotions, and said, "The Grand Assembly will be starting soon. Let’s go."

At the Grand Assembly, the examiners publicly announced the list of selected candidates. At the sa ti, each candidate would receive a letter, either thanking them for participating and encouraging them to try again next year or congratulating them on being promoted and becoming a mber of the Fragrance Alliance.
