Chapter 1570
She understood. This man knew all along that they were being followed. He didn’t reveal it, intending to lead them into a trap!
"No! You can’t do this; it’s against the law!" She blurted out without thinking twice.
Just as the words left her mouth, a powerful suction force suddenly pulled her up into the palm of Valleys, who gripped her by the neck.
His hand was twice the size of an ordinary human’s. It was equivalent to two hands combined, gripping her neck as if holding a chicken ready to be slaughtered.
"Annoying thing!"
He tightened his grip.
Just when Ethel thought her life was over, an ethereal voice belonging to "Milton White" reached her ears.
"Let her go."
The light sentence was filled with a compelling force that seed to overwhelm everything.
Valleys sneered, yet he still saved face for him and let her go.
As Ethel landed on the ground and regained her breath, she couldn’t help but glance at "Milton White".
She was sowhat confused, why was he protecting her?
She thought it was Milty.
Moreover, she wondered, why did Valleys, a powerful Mutated Person, give so much face to "Milton White"?
No matter how powerful "Milton White" was, he was still a regular human being. If a fight broke out, there was a good chance she could beat him in it.
The two paid her no mind and headed towards the doorway.
Valleys waved his hand against the wall, and a chanism appeared. Consequently, the two sides of the walls revealed a 3D projection.
What they saw was the situation outside.
Many undercover police officers were already scattered around the cetery, preparing for an ambush.
Valleys chuckled and suddenly shouted, "Go, my warriors! Turn all of them into your slaves!"
His voice was full of montum, exuding an imposing sense of dominance.
In an instant, the earth shook and the mountains trembled. Nurous Mutated People sprung from the other "tombs" in the projection!
The humans lying in wait nearby were terrified and imdiately launched an attack.
Seeing the projection, Ethel worried for them.
One of the Mutated People swiftly subdued a police officer, readying to bite down.
Just then, a brilliant beam from the sky fell, causing the Mutated Person to pause.
A child descended from the heavens, swiftly rescuing the police officer from the hands of the Mutated Person.
"What the hell is that!" Valleys sneered.
"It’s a robot, don’t tell , your army can’t even handle a small robot?" "Milton White" mocked.
A cold glint appeared in Valleys’ eyes, and he imdiately punched a few commands into the control panel on the wall.
Outside, a buzzing sound rang out imdiately, and an alarm sounded from the little robot.
"Hmph, let’s see how it withstands this wave of interference!"
Sure enough, the little robot quickly fell to the ground. Its movents beca all wobbly and clumsy.
The Mutated People continued attacking the group of police officers. Suddenly, five of them leaped toward the police!
Her eyes wide, Ethel unconsciously clenched her fists very tightly!
Her heart skipped a beat when those Mutated People rushed forward, then plumted dreadfully.
She could only worry for them, feeling regretful for them.
Just like the scene she had witnessed in the residential area before, she was incredibly anxious and yet powerless.
Just as the dust was about to settle, there ca a sudden twist!
The five Mutated People that charged were suddenly suspended mid-air. They couldn’t move forward at all.
The group of police officers below had a narrow escape and quickly arranged themselves into formation without showing any fear!
Valleys was furious, "Who is it?!"
The scene changed, only to see a superbly beautiful woman floating in mid-air above the cetery. Her face was stern, and she slightly grabbed in the direction of the five n, controlling their movents!
Just by gently turning her slender hand, she sent the five n crashing into the mountainside like powerless clowns. They all fainted!
The next second, each of the police officers moved forward and restrained them one by one!
Ethel looked at Chloe Collins, admiring her more and more.
