"What a massive joke!" Heijii exclaid, visibly upset. "They’re even slandering us. They’ve got so nerve."
"Let’s ignore them for now." Chloe Collins said, she then asked him, "How many people have applied so far?"
Heijii responded, "There are quite a few interested applicants, they’re all waiting for a pay raise."
"Then filter them out." she said without hesitation.
Heijii knew her thoughts and understood giving pay raises too freely was a bad idea. It was like jobs in a morgue: people generally had an idea of the work involved and rarely sought such jobs unless they were for high pay.
By giving them a pay raise, it might be perceived as an admission of the damaging rumors, implying the hotel was haunted.
If they ever hoped to clear people’s fear, they had to start with restructuring their own perception of the hotel.
Once they began turning down applicants, within ten minutes, five individuals reached out wanting to interview.
Heijii was delighted and shared, "Boss, these are all ex-military applicants, both n and won."

On the first day, Blessings Hotel erged victorious.

At night, the front desk reported to Clara Carrington that rooms were practically fully booked for the next half a month, except for the Presidential Suite.

"Miss Bauer, good news. A custor just reserved the Presidential Suite for the next week."
Startled, Clara soon burst into laughter, "Make sure to provide excellent services! Who is it?"
"It’s Tristan Collins, Mr. Collins."
Clara’s eyes narrowed, her smile fading slightly.
